Crossbeam Review

What do you like best about the product?
Crossbeam removes the additional step of mapping account names and allows us to map Partner data in real-time.
What do you dislike about the product?
With the recent change of plans that were announced at the Connector Summit, Crossbeam has limited basic plan users to export up to 100 records. The new change will reduce our usage and require us to revert back to manual mapping.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Account name mapping and relevant Partner data.

What do you like best about the product?
Account overlap mapping is by far the best tool. I was doing this manually before Crossbeam!
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to be able to add more columns to the account mapping to differentiate product offerings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was manually mapping overlapping accounts with partners. This has been game-changing for collaboration with our partners!

Crossbeam is a strong partnerships platform

What do you like best about the product?
Partnerships is integral to the ecommerce industry, so having a platform that integrates data across all partners of any segment has been a huge unlock in strategizing account targeting and co-marketing plays. The table that divides into company customers, opps, and partners is useful for providing a quick visual overview of partnership strength. As well, the platform is relatively easy to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Where Crossbeam falls flat for me is in its report filtering abilities. When I run a report between a partner and us, I typically add more columns to the table with our HubSpot fields. But you can sort alphabetically or numerically. You can only organize via company name or partner overlap. This requires me to export as a CSV, upload into Google Sheets and filter that way instead of being able to all in one platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Crossbeam helps us optimize our co-marketing motions and inform our partnerships team on who to continue and start building relationships with. Partner data availability reduces the number of meetings I need to take since I can view key accounts and overlap strength autonomously.

A must have product for a successful partnership program

What do you like best about the product?
Crossbeam enables partners to speak openly about the shared opportunity they have together. It takes away the awkward step of sharing a spreadsheet and enables open and effective discussion. Straight away, each partner can see where the value is or move on if there is no shared opportunity. It is also a fantastic tool for selling the importance of partnerships into the wider business.
They also have fantastic customer success that are there to empower all your teams to thrive with Crossbeam
What do you dislike about the product?
The least helpful thing about Crossbeam is when your partners don't use it. But even the the tool allows you to upload a csv file so you can still use their intuitive account mapping tool. There is a free version for those you want to work with but aren't ready to pay.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Crossbeam is saving us so much time and energy. The broader company loves the insights it provides. It has become invaluable and central to everything we do in the partnerships team

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of direct account mapping, the accuracy of non-bolean errors, the convenience of automated alerts and notifications and the efficiency and scale of direct CRM (Salesforce) integration. My colleagues and partners are convinced that I'm on a vesting schedule with Crossbeam but alas, no, I just know how manual and antiquated partner ecosystem mapping can be without Crossbeam. Crossbeam access is a daily activity, second only to my calendar. Once we get the full implementation completed, I anticipate usage to increase tremendously across the organization, which I hear is a rather simple process with loads of customer support.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of a mobile app. Sometimes I can get away with using my Chrome browser but a native Android or iOS app would be a great help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Partners who sync with us on Crossbeam get first dibs on open opportunities where we overlap, this would have to otherwise happen by memory and random chance. That's not very scalable.

Excellent tool, constantly improving

What do you like best about the product?
Crossbeam allows us to easily compare our Customer, Prospect, and Opportunity data with our Partners. It significantly saves us time by matching up the data automatically vs. manually and allows us to have secure information flow without worrying about oversharing data with our Partners.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although Crossbeam constantly makes improvements, the reporting tool is lacking. When Partners make changes in their Populations (Say they remove and create a new Customer population) this does not automatically update our reports or trigger a notification to know something has been removed. There's also no Dashboards or any visuals that can be created and no way to connect to PowerBI
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They have made updates on how the tool receives the data from Google Sheets, so if I delete a row (say one row is no longer a customer) it will remove it from my populations. I can also see they have created new warnings for duplicate records and are working on logic to remove these - will be interesting to see how they resolve this as we may still want those duplicates to show (i.e we have to accounts for two subsidiaries with the same website, they aren't necessarily duplicates and the Unique ID should be taken into account)

Best tool to show partnership value in seconds

What do you like best about the product?
I'm a huge fan of how easy it is for our partners to get their customer/prospect populations up on crossbeam and be able to immediately show them how many of their current customers use our platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no actual dislikes of the service itself, but if I'm being picky, it takes a while for the exported report to show up in my inbox regardless of how many overlaps there are. And the email just includes a link back to the website. It just feels clunky compared to other export experiences.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Crossbeam is solving the mystery of whether or not a data provider will be successful in our Marketplace. They are able to see which of their customers and prospects are already using Snowflake for their data warehousing needs.

Intuitive, reliable, and great support

What do you like best about the product?
Lots of features on free version makes it easier to persuade partners to initially join and share.
What do you dislike about the product?
For large companies, there's no insight into which division or geography is using it, teams we work with at those partners are often unaware of their use or who their Crossbeam admin is for getting info.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our channel partner lead is finding great value in pre-contract negotiations, just to assess the potential of the relationship and to close the partnership deals.
