Essential tool for partner managers
What do you like best about the product?
Automated Slack alerts and seamless account mapping make it super easy to get sales and partnerships aligned.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm on the initial paid tier, so have to live with some limitations. The baked in reporting tool is only "meh"
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Crossbeam answers the question "How do partnerships help sales?" And has been instrumental in building momentum for and with our GTM partners.
A must-have for Partnerships Professionals
What do you like best about the product?
I cannot imagine having to do manual account mapping for all the partners that we have, even in a young partnerships program! Crossbeam gives us everything we need to asses and engage with our portfolio of partners in a meaningful way, while funneling information through our organization that helps everyone do a better job!
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not a lot to dislike about Crossbeam. If i were to mention anything, is that the UI is a bit cluttered, and it is not always easy finding exactly what you are looking for, but this is more something to get used to than anything else!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are working with a very large portfolio of partners. Crossbeam enables us to access account overlaps before we engage with new partners, and once we have found a partner and signed a partnership agreement, it helps us to engage with that partner in a meaningful way, by sharing accounts and knowledge that help us work professionally with leads, and create significantly more value than what we would be able to do without it!
Crossbeam makes partnership work faster and efficient
What do you like best about the product?
Crossbeam has been a valuable tool for us to compare accounts with our SI and Tech partners. It is the basis for our cooperation with different partners and makes it easy for us to assess which partners have the most overlap with us! This saves us time and makes our partner managers more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
We started to use the service when it was free. I understand their need to create more paid packages. So far no bad experiences and their support team have been to great help when setting up our account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Partner development and identifying joint prospects and customers. It also gives us a clear understanding of how well the partner is developing accounts and in which region. It creates a fundament for joint account development. A great tool in fact.

Limitation of CRM's for now, but they are still exploring on that side

A must have tool for partnership organizations
What do you like best about the product?
Native integration with Salesforce - saving countless hours of what would otherwise be a manual effort. Crossbeam allows us to quickly identify whether a partnership or integration has a large addressable market and the potential business impact. Easily helps us prioritize where to spend our time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the output in CRM reporting can be a bit confusing, but that is mostly due to our CRM hygiene and not necessarily within Crossbeam's control. For example, parent accounts can show up more than once in the overlap report when in actuality, it's a subsidiary of the parent account, but you can't tell.

Crossbeam helps us determine the potential business impact of a partnership and allows us to quickly determine the addressable market for a partnership or integration.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability for our Account Executives to know, right in our CRM, which partners to connect with. This increases both AE as well as Partner Manager productivity.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of our partners have only agreed to use Crossbeam at the division or even team level. This is more a problem with our Partners than it is with Crossbeam, they've been tremendously helpful in working with our Partners to show them the value of the platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Starburst Data is a true exosystem solution - and partnerships with the upstream data sources and downstream consumers are critical to overall solution success. Crossbeam helps our Account Execs directly determine who to engage at any specific customer, without having to send queries to multiple partner managers, looking at multiple account planning spreadsheets, and frankly, just missing out on possible partner opportunities.

Not always intuitive to use - changing UI, hard to keep up with how to do routine tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Securely identifying overlapping accounts between partners
Great tool for cross-collaboration and joint selling with partners
What do you like best about the product?
The data sharing and reporting are easy to use and helpful to the partner team.
What do you dislike about the product?
As the admin, it's hard to keep track of sharing data and enable the team without user-based permissions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Crossbeam solves the problem of how to share overlapping data with partners. It benefits me personally by skipping the manual efforts to compare data sources we get from our partners.
Crossbeam has been a great resource for our sales team and saves so much time.

Crossbeam is an easy-to-use platform that has been a big time saver for our sales organization. Before, everyone talked about account mapping, but the traditional process of sharing lists was too cumbersome and overwhelming.

I wish more companies used it. More data the better the information.
