Expand the Impact of Partners Across Your Org and Ecosystem

What do you like best about the product?
Crossbeam’s Salesforce custom object and widget are a game changer for driving the adoption of their data across your internal teams. If this data were not easy to view or create processes around, reps would not fully leverage a tool like this. But through Crossbeam’s custom object, I created numerous dashboards and reports directly in Salesforce, where our reps live.

Our SDRs/AEs use these dashboards and reports to prioritize their prospect accounts, and managers use these to facilitate pipeline reviews to ensure reps take advantage of partners in every step of their deal cycles. Our PS/CS teams are now using these reports and dashboards to drive the adoption of our integrations during initial customer implementations and follow-up account review calls.

Their Salesforce custom object also allows us to develop complex workflows in LeanData to drive advanced notifications (both internally and externally), create SLAs and tasks for our reps, and drive creative partner use-cases across our teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Partners have too much control over their populations and how they are defined. So the standard “Open Opportunities” population for one partner may be specific to New Business, while another partner may have New Business, Upsell, and Renewal opportunities in this population.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Where do I begin? It allows my team to drive value across our organization and showcase how valuable partner ecosystems are. The value of partner ecosystems is more important today than ever, but for some organizations, you need a tool like Crossbeam to help showcase this value. Crossbeam is helping us reduce customer churn by connecting with relevant Consulting Partners when a mutual customer’s account health drops, prioritizing joint value messages to the most relevant prospects, driving integration adoption, informing Consulting Partners when their clients are in an active deal cycle with us, and the list goes on.

Simply put, our teams would not be as productive nor effective as we are today without Crossbeam.

What do you like best about the product?
1) Intuitive setup process: Create your Populations, add/invite your Partners, and dive into your overlaps with partners and Reports!
2) Simple and easy to view partner overlaps for you to drive different activation plays
3) Crossbeam to HubSpot (CRM) integration is fast and accurate - it rocks!
4) Real-time Crossbeam support has helped our team troubleshoot issues quickly
5) Crossbeam Chrome Extension is super handy for quick insights
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing jumps out! I've yet to utilize the Threads and Home tabs but we might do so more as we continue to grow. Have also logged into Crossbeam on my phone and am looking to use that more often.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows us to automatically share account (customer, prospect) information and act on overlaps with partners without creating manual spreadsheets. This enables us to systematically drive mutual referrals and co-selling/marketing activations with partners in our ecosystem, and work efficiently with Sales and Customer Success teams internally and externally. Gamechanger for sure!

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Crossbeam gives our partners a sense of security when sharing customer lists. It's easy to teach someone to use and as soon as they learn how secure it is, they generally don't have an issue sharing data sets. Customer overlap lists are imperative to my role as a partnership manager and I'm thankful the days of vlookups and sharing insecure data are over. I also very much appreciate the salesforce integration.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike is that sometimes our partners will only have a limited amount of data to share, for example, a CSV with account names, but no websites or addresses. This can cause some misfires and oversights in matches and causes some confusion. This is probably less of a Crossbeam issue and more of an issue with the data provided by our partners. We have our CRM hooked up to Crossbeam and I always encourage our partners to do the same when they're able.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Crossbeam is saving me a lot of time by not having to manage account mapping via spreadsheet. It's also solving for the issue of data security. Emailing customer lists is a no go, Crossbeam solves for that.

What do you like best about the product?
Before Crossbeam, we were manually account mapping in spreadsheets which was a nightmare. Now we have real-time account mapping that syncs to our Salesforce instance and can automate updates that help us engage our partner ecosystem in the most efficient way.
What do you dislike about the product?
Attribution is not part of the current CB solution. Often times there can be inaccurate data on companies with a lot of child orgs. (Think Google/Amazon etc.)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Efficiencies in the account mapping process
Real-time data syncs
Automating of changes in account data

This all leads to more sourced opportunities, bigger deal sizes, and accelerated sales cycles.

What do you like best about the product?
Crossbeam is a must-have tool to identify joint customers and uncover opportunities for growing faster with partners. When working with a large range of partners, it's an easy-to-use tool that drives collaboration. It's been an invaluable tool for growing Searchspring's partner referrals.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting up the populations can be tricky initially, but investing the time at the beginning of the process helps to onboard new partners seamlessly.

Crossbeam allows us to work with partners to do account mapping strategically to grow partnerships.

A must have for managing tech partnerships

What do you like best about the product?
Crossbeam makes account mapping secure, easy, and fast. My tech partners can upload a spreadsheet or connect directly to their SFDC and in just minutes, we can see the breakdown of our joint customers, open opportunities, and prospects. Since the data is live, updates in SFDC automatically propagate, and you can filter by region, industry, rep, or any custom field. The best part is that my partners can self-serve their account list needs - they don't have to wait for me to pull spreadsheets manually for them.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any specific product dislikes, but our legal team requires an MNDA in place between each partner we connect to - this can take a few days to complete.
The report export can take a minute or so to generate - but it's not that big of a delay.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Securely shares data between our team and partners.
Allows partners to look up joint accounts and opportunities without my intervention.
Data is always live, so I don't have to manually copy and paste SFDC reports into spreadsheets.
Partners have the flexibility to upload their account list as a spreadsheet if they don't want to live connect to SFDC.
You can segment accounts by common SFDC fields such as region, industry and rep - making it easy to look up and connect the rights account teams.

What do you like best about the product?
Crossbeam is the ultimate time saver. By enabling partners to access your account information for overlapping account populations, I can avoid dozens of ad hoc requests for the same information.
What do you dislike about the product?
They recently changed pricing strategy, so not as many custom populations available at the free tier, but I expect we will be happy to upgrade and continue to use the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing and accessing mutual customers to help us and our partners prospect and sell easier and faster. We can share data confidently without risk of sharing sensitive confidential info.

What do you like best about the product?
Crossbeam has taken the pain out of account mapping. It's so simple and easy to connect with our partners and analyze lists within an hour!
What do you dislike about the product?
Paying for it :-) I understand the new paywall and we are already finding budget for it for 2023!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The GTM strategy with our partners and choosing which brands to target has become much easier with Crossbeam. It's a streamlined process and we can establish next steps and find value very quickly

What do you like best about the product?
This product is easy to set up and provides a clear picture into a shared TAM.

In the future I'd like to see some more advanced reporting capabilities.

Crossbeam accelerates how I plan to work with my partners (ex. focus on integrations for existing mutual customers, plan partner marketing activities and use the data for ABM activities, etc.)
