What do you dislike about the product?
Most of the courses and their content on DataCamp require a subscription to access, which can pose a challenge for individuals who are not connected to a specific organization or educational institution. Hands-On Learning Made Easy
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate DataCamp’s interactive learning approach. The platform combines short, focused lessons with hands-on exercises, which makes it easy to immediately apply what I learn. The interface is clean and intuitive, and the ability to practice coding directly in the browser without setting up environments saves a lot of time. I also like the wide range of courses and learning tracks, especially for SQL and Power BI, which are exactly what I need to strengthen my technical skills.
What do you dislike about the product?
While DataCamp is a great platform overall, one limitation is that some courses feel a bit too basic or repetitive once you reach an intermediate level. For example, advanced topics in SQL or Power BI could go deeper into real-world scenarios and complex use cases. Additionally, the exercises are mostly done in a controlled environment, so you don’t always get the experience of working with large, messy datasets like in real projects. Lastly, the subscription model can feel expensive if you only need a few specialized courses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DataCamp helps me bridge the gap between theory and practical application. Before using it, I struggled to find structured resources for improving my SQL and Power BI skills in a way that fits into a busy schedule. Now, I can learn at my own pace, track my progress, and build confidence through real-world exercises. This is directly benefiting me by making me more efficient in data analysis and reporting tasks, which are critical for my role as a BI Developer.
Interactive Learning with Real-World Application
What do you like best about the product?
I used DataCamp to build my strength in data science, machine learning, and data analytics. The hands-on feature along with interactive learning is very helpful and ensures all concepts are clear. It helps keep my technical skills up to date in the fast-evolving landscape. There's a lot of structured learning materials that anyone can pick and start learning, which is very unique. The most unique feature I like the most is the hands-on, interactive learning approach. The in-browser coding exercises provide immediate feedback, making it easier to understand concepts and correct mistakes dynamically. Features like real-world projects, skill assessment, and progress tracking are also some of the features I enjoy the most. The setup is very smooth and doesn't need a lot of technical guidance. I would recommend it 10 as it's very user-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
While it's the best platform for learning, I feel some courses could benefit from deeper coverage of advanced, real-world edge cases, especially for experienced professionals. Occasionally, exercises look more guided, and adding more open-ended problem-solving would further strengthen practical learning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use DataCamp to keep my technical skills up to date with structured learning materials, and the hands-on, interactive features help clarify concepts effectively.
