Datacamp review

  • December 03, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Datacamp is a great tool to learn SQL, Python, and r programming languages. You don't need to memorize anything it teaches you with great examples and you can learn them in every aspect. Learning something is not just watching videos, you should make practice them. Everbody should try that tool to learn better.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes some examples may contain very little content but generally, they are sufficient and you can learn lots of things without knowing anything and there are no negative things. Also, it may be cheaper for students as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Datacamp shows me my wrongs with their hints and I can learn them without asking anyone. Datacamp has different cases and I can learn SQL, python with different cases that I have never seen before.

DataCamp Review

  • December 02, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Datacamp is the best tool to learn and practice. There are so many exercises so you can learn while you are practicing. Learning something new is not just watching a lesson it is about putting hands-on effort. Especially for programming tools, practicing is so important in the learning journey. After a while, it is becoming a game and it is really fun.
What do you dislike about the product?
It should be cheaper for students at least. Discounts are not so helpful especially for foreign countries with high currency rates. Once I used a discount for students via Github but it was only for 3 months.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sometimes I could not be able to see my wrongs for some questions or I would not have an idea how to solve problems, Datacamp has some hints hidden in the questions and they are so helpful. They help me to learn better. As I said before, especially for programming or database tools like Python or SQL it is so important to practice with different cases. Datacamp has well-prepared questions and cases to learn.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would strongly recommend DataCamp for anyone looking to learn the skills they offer. I found it a very easy platform to use and navigate. I personally learn better when I actually do and that's what I liked about DataCamp, actually inputting the code while I learn a concept.

What do you like best about the product?
many interesting courses helped me to get my first job as a data developer, useful examples, and many tracks
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes these videos are boring, uniform, and monotonous. Code interpreter does not allow all good versions, but it is understandable
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've gained a lot of knowledge. It is structured and helps to learn. Courses helped to optimize database scripts better, manage database, and to keep better version control in GitHub for our client. Additionally, getting better at powerBi helped to provide the first OEE dashboards to client platform
Recommendations to others considering the product:
try trial, or github student pack to see the potential and get boost of your career

Blended Interactive learning releases dopamine for the joy of coding

  • June 20, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I just fell in love with Datacamp's blended model of interactive learning. Its byte-size videos and creative coding with tips and hints are ingenious to learn coding from scratch. For working professionals who are having less time, it is simply a mouth-watering learning experience. I just fell in love with coding, and I'm 38 years old. The interactive points and certifications I receive after completing the course modules are a true manifestation of exhilaration and enthusiasm of sheer joy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am a bit upset by Datacamp's lower bonding with potential recruiters and job market ninjas. I am ready to pay a fee for an assisted job search and potential career leads, plus a bespoke resume and assisted career coaching and job hunting experience. If Datacamp wants to make the big push, it must come out from its comfort zone and take the plunge in challenging LinkedIn and other mundane job sites. It is just a thought!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am learning Python with Data Scientist Track.

What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing of premium courses might deter some learners.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently pursuing the data science path with python. Hoping to put the skills to be acquired to provide solutions around me.
