good product
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the structure, that there are many different opportunities to learn - not just courses. Very cool assessments, I especially want to note the adaptability (you are given different levels of questions depending on the answer). The courses themselves are built conveniently - short lessons, with jokes and immediately practice. Separately, I want to note certification, multi-stage, such a diploma can be trusted in the market.
What do you dislike about the product?
it’s a little hard at the onboarding stage, because you don’t immediately get used to the abundance of opportunities. Eyes run wide) I still don’t understand why the workspace is for now.
I had a technical problem with assessments for almost a month. Each question was given 0 seconds and you do not have time to answer anything. I did all the recommendations from the consultants - it did not help. It went away after a month.
The company many times failed to make payment for licenses. And they didn't report it at all. Don't you need money?) As a result, only users who were constantly getting an offer to buy or they were faced with the unavailability of courses noticed this.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I started to take even basic courses, although I have a lot of experience. It refreshes old knowledge well and always learns something new.
I want to get certified in the future and attach it to LinkedIn.
When I see something new and I didn’t know, I immediately apply it at work.

Super Helpful and Detailed
What do you like best about the product?
DataCamp is great for beginning and middle-stage learning of coding. You'll be able to do more with your data and make yourself more marketable for future jobs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest problem with DataCamp is probably the number of emails that you get from a marketing perspective. There are at least a couple every day and if those could be cut back it would be incredibly helpful in keeping inboxes uncluttered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was falling behind in my profession because of my lack of coding skills, with people who started years after I did better able to do the job and have potential to move up. Not everything can be done in Excel and knowing the skills you can learn at DataCamp is invaluable.
Love the Python Courses
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using DataCamp to teach myself Pandas and data handling with Python. I love the way classes are structured and the print outs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I love that DataCamp has print outs. I only wish they had more!!!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been practicing Pandas without the IDE set up barrier to entry.
Very good for beginners
What do you like best about the product?
Beginner-friendly learning by doing design and the content is segmented, chunked, and organized logically. The platform also provides immediate feedback.
What do you dislike about the product?
The videos might be a little too short and may not provide enough scaffolding for someone without the right prerequisite knowledge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are limited in how we create content, so it makes sense to partner with DataCamp to fill in those sorts of gaps.
Awesome on-demand analytics and data literacy training
What do you like best about the product?
I like that DataCamp includes narrated video instruction in its courses. Some other services I've tried offer only reading exercises, which isn't optimal for everyone.
What do you dislike about the product?
As is common with such e-learning services, the code assessments can be finicky. The validation sometimes expects an exact line of code to continue to the next step in the assessment. Entering a slightly different line of code that produces the same result can trigger an error, which can be frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I purchased a DataCamp subscription for my operations team to learn data analysis concepts and enhance their Excel skills. They are already beginning to identify ways in which data can be collected and used to streamline our operations.
Datacamp is a great tool for teaching data skills to all discipline, not just data professionals.
What do you like best about the product?
Modular nature. You can really hone in on any particular skillset or create a custom track for yourself.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some really fundamental functionalities that are basically locked behind an enterprise paywall. It seems weird to have a tool with team/manager functionality, while also requiring a conversation with an Account Executive to assess team reporting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data maturity and inter-department empathy
A great tool for the beginner through to the professional
What do you like best about the product?
Datacamp makes it really easy to navigate and track your way through training, monitoring team engagement/progress and simplifying the first few steps of learning new techniques.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not preset / defined pathways to follow to 'learn' a skill, i.e. there are multiple SQL courses, by different providers, and not an easy indication of which is better for what / which to start with etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing to teach a team of junior grad analysts new tools without constantly bringing in 3rd party coaches or pumping time in having to run all the training myself.
Great way to learn R
What do you like best about the product?
The interactive nature of the training and practice questions at the end
What do you dislike about the product?
The skills tracks could be structured in ways that are more helpful to doing statistical analysis using R
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DataCamp is offering a centralized and interactive way for members of our team to all learn R at their own pace while being able to track progress
Great product for professional development
What do you like best about the product?
My team has been using Data Camp for a year so far. In that time, we've completed and accessed many of the offered courses. The addition of new classes and the format in how lessons are presented works very well in learning a wide variety of new skills and building on a current skill base.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say the only issue I have is trying to find enough time for professional development within the work week; however, that would be an issue for any type of professional development.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have a very diverse team with a very diverse skill set. Being able to point to certain courses and use the course paths has been really helpful in providing accurately targeting employee growth.
Bought DC for my team and it's been great!
What do you like best about the product?
It is self-paced and I can use this as a tool to measure team engagement.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't currently have any cons. The only thing that I would like to see is some additional tracks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is a time saver for people looking to move on with their careers. I don't always have time to train people on new skills and this is a great way for me to see who to spend that time on. Are they actively trying to get better?
