Comprehensive, Self-Paced Learning with Helpful Videos and Quizzes

  • April 24, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I think it covers topics very comprehendively in a manner that allows me to go at my own pace. I like the videos and reinforcement quiz and activities at the end of it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Keeping up with the terminologies are tough. If possible provide a running cheat sheet of the new teminologies learned. Its a lot of jargon for a first-timer
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping me get a better understanding of how AI works (and other topics). The awareness helps me consider how I can implement and use what I've learned effectively

Interactive Labs and Helpful Recaps Make Learning Easy

  • April 23, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I’m leading an effort to build a citizen developer group in our organization, and DataCamp has been instrumental in helping me learn concepts like establishing AI communities and data sustainability. I also started learning Python through DataCamp, and I’ve found the built-in coding labs and practice materials effective because they’re live and interactive. The hints and error explanations are especially helpful for learning as you go. Lastly, if you haven’t logged in for a while, it provides a recap to bring you up to speed, so you don’t have to go back through the entire lesson.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s a lot of content, so it can feel overwhelming during the first few days. A built-in navigation tutorial would be helpful to make it easier to find your way around.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Logging in is simple and quick with enterprise SSO, I have the opportunity to access DataCamp for free under enterprise license, so as for pricing I get all the learning for free.

It helps me stay motivated. The UI includes leaderboards, experience points, and competitions, and those game-like elements make DataCamp genuinely fun to use. DataCamp also offers integration with Microsoft Viva Learning so learning across platforms is possible.

DataCamp also helps me keep track of my lessons. I find the interface, along with the tabs and sidebars, really useful for picking up exactly where I left off. There is also an AI chat agent that supports you when you have questions.

Lastly, the platform runs very smoothly. Unlike some other learning sites I’ve experienced a glitch where they forget where you stopped and force you to restart a lesson from the beginning, I’ve never had that issue with DataCamp.

Beginner-Friendly Lessons That Make Learning AI Easy

  • April 21, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best is how beginner-friendly the platform is. It breaks down complex concepts into simple, clear lessons and interactive exercises that build confidence step by step. Even if you’re new to data or tech, the courses make it easy to understand and stay motivated.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I really like DataCamp. It’s easy to get started and beginner friendly. One area I think could be improved is the video speed. The lessons feel a bit slow at the default pace, so I usually set them to 1.25x to keep things more engaging and efficient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DataCamp is helping me bridge the gap between curiosity and practical knowledge in AI. Before starting, I only knew a little about artificial intelligence, but the platform broke down the concepts into clear, beginner-friendly lessons. It showed me what AI is, the kinds of tasks it can solve, and how organizations can harness it responsibly.

The biggest benefit is that it makes complex topics approachable—I can now see the possibilities of AI in real-world settings and understand both the technical and human side of it. DataCamp is solving the problem of accessibility to AI education by giving me the confidence to learn at my own pace and apply these ideas in meaningful ways.

Effective Learning, Minor Interface Tweaks Needed

  • April 21, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like using DataCamp for honing my SQL skills, especially at the intermediate level, and gaining the ability to optimize my SQL queries. I also appreciate the platform for offering an actual learning environment where the AI assistant stands out as quite good at teaching me step by step. It helps me by correcting small errors and showing me best practices. Mostly, I enjoy the feedback I'm getting from the training provided by the AI assistant.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the interface of DataCamp could do with a bit of an overhaul, and that's only about the actual main website. It's just a little bit tricky when you're trying to start a course because you forget that the actual launch course button is right at the top rather than at the bottom where I would think it would be near each of the modules. The initial setup was actually quite complicated because I received a joining email which kept giving me errors. Then I registered separately without the joining email, and my manager had trouble adding me to our group, and she had to get tech support involved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DataCamp provides a great learning platform, with an AI assistant that teaches me step-by-step, corrects small errors, and shows me best practices.

Interactive Learning Made Easy with DataCamp

  • April 21, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that the lessons on DataCamp are interactive and bite-sized, which makes it easy to fit into my schedule. I get to immediately apply what I learned through exercises, which is great. I appreciate how structured and practical the courses are, helping me quickly build relevant skills like data analysis and automation, which I can directly apply to improve my work efficiency. The interactive lessons helped me learn by doing instead of just reading, which makes the concepts stick better. The bite-sized format also makes it easy to fit learning into my daily schedule, even during short breaks, making learning more consistent and effective. I think everything works well for me, and I like the content. The setup was very easy, and I like how you can log in or sign up for the first time.
What do you dislike about the product?
My main concern is that some lessons lack depth, and there aren’t enough open-ended projects. I’d prefer more opportunities to work on realistic scenarios instead of mostly structured exercises.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use DataCamp to build my data skills, especially in AI and data analysis. It provides structured, practical learning that improves my work efficiency. Interactive, bite-sized lessons fit into my schedule and help concepts stick.

Intuitive Learning with Interactive Courses

  • April 20, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I think DataCamp is a fantastic tool, especially for upskilling around AI and Copilot among other systems. I really enjoy the interactive nature of the courses. It's really intuitive and very easy to use. The courses ensure that our learning sticks, unlike dry non-interactive courses. I like that it's great to practice in a live environment. The setup is very easy, and the breadth and choice of course options available are much better compared to our previous internal training.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the simulations run a little slower than I would like. However, I understand that this is the downside of a live model.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DataCamp upskills me in areas I'm unfamiliar with, like applying AI in my job. It's intuitive and interactive, making learning stick more than dry courses.

Hands-On, Beginner-Friendly Learning with Clear Paths and Instant Feedback

  • April 11, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Hands‑on learning approach
Lessons are short and immediately followed by interactive exercises, so you apply what you learn right away instead of just watching or reading passively.

Clear learning paths
The career and skill tracks (like Data Analyst, Data Scientist, Python, SQL) are well‑organized and guide you step‑by‑step from beginner to more advanced topics without feeling overwhelming.

Real‑world relevance
Many exercises and projects are based on realistic datasets and scenarios, which helps connect concepts to actual workplace use cases.

Beginner‑friendly but not shallow
Explanations are simple and approachable, yet the content still builds solid technical foundations, even for people with no prior coding background.

Instant feedback
You immediately know whether your code works, which makes learning faster and keeps motivation high.

Flexibility
You can learn at your own pace, revisit lessons anytime, and focus on specific skills when needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited depth for advanced learners
While DataCamp is excellent for beginners and intermediate users, some advanced topics can feel a bit high‑level and may not go deep enough for complex, real‑world applications.

Multiple‑choice heavy at times
Some lessons rely too much on multiple‑choice questions or small code snippets, which can feel less realistic compared to writing full solutions from scratch.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
High barrier to entry in data learning: Many platforms assume prior coding or math knowledge. DataCamp breaks complex concepts (Python, SQL, data analysis) into short, interactive lessons that are easy to start and progress with.
Theory without practice: Traditional learning often focuses on explanations without enough hands‑on work. DataCamp emphasizes learning by doing through in‑browser coding and immediate feedback.

Digestible Lessons with Practical Check-Ins and Motivating XP

  • April 09, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The lessons are in digestible lengths so it doesn't get too long or boring. I like the practical questions in between that help check understanding. I also appreciate the review questions so you can regular refreshers and don't forget everything you just learned. And if you are competitive, earning the XPs can be motivating.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think sometimes I get lost in the navigation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I just enjoy learning and I am particularly interested in AI and anything related to data science. I am not going to be a data scientist but I like knowing what options are out there and figure out how these concepts are applicable to me and what I do.
