What do you like best about the product?

I like Sophos Firewall's user friendliness and the amount of tools it has for me to explore. The ease of login and access for the admin makes it great to use. It provides a user-friendly dashboard with a lot of tools to keep my network locked down. It was also important for us to find a cloud-ready product with a much better user experience.

What do you dislike about the product?

I use Sophos Firewall to control network traffic and keep it secure with a user-friendly dashboard and great admin access.

What do you like best about the product?

What I like most about working with Sophos Firewall is that it’s fairly easy to implement and set up for our company. It’s reliable, and the security features are strong. I also find the online portal user-friendly and straightforward to use.

What do you dislike about the product?

Although Sophos Firewall is great, it is not considered top-tier in Firewall security. Their customer support quality can vary as well, sometimes helpful and sometimes not.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

They help block malicious attacks and keep our devices clean. This helps protect us from getting hacked or held hostage and forced to pay a ransom. It helps keep our system up to date and running.

connectivity between sites via IPSec / ssl vpn instead of point to point
traffic / DNS / Sandboxing scanning without complex setup

Delivering of comprehensive Netword Sec. and a friendly mgmt. console. We Appreciate the integrations and pricing.

Strong set of sec. features, additionally, advanced reporting and analytics capabilities.

Consolidations of multiple security features into a single platform, as a result, we have an efficient Pricing.

What I like most about Sophos Firewall is its intuitive management interface, its comprehensive security features, and the detailed visibility it offers over network traffic. It provides solid protection and yet remains easy to manage, configure, and maintain on a daily basis.

What do you dislike about the product?

The main drawback is that some advanced functions and certain problem-solving processes can be complex, especially for new administrators. Additionally, reports and log analysis could be more intuitive, user-friendly, and offer greater flexibility.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

It is a combination of strong security and ease of management. The centralized panel offers excellent visibility of network activity, threats, and user behavior, which facilitates monitoring and troubleshooting, resource usage performance, good integration with other brands, and quick support for users.

What I like most about Sophos Firewall is how easy it is to manage while still offering comprehensive security features. The web interface feels intuitive, so tasks like firewall policy management, VPN configuration, and day-to-day troubleshooting are straightforward. It delivers strong protection with IPS, web filtering, application control, and advanced threat prevention. The integration with Sophos Endpoint and Sophos XDR also improves visibility and supports more centralized security management. On top of that, the detailed logging and reporting make it easier to quickly spot and investigate security incidents, and High Availability (HA) helps maintain network uptime and overall reliability.

What do you dislike about the product?

I haven’t encountered any major issues with Sophos Firewall so far. It’s been reliable and user-friendly, and it has done a solid job of securing our network environment.

As a result, our network security has improved, security risks have been reduced, firewall management is simpler, and overall operational efficiency has increased.

Performance may be impacted on mid-range appliances when multiple features are enabled, and reporting lacks deeper customization. Additionally, support response time can vary, and pricing can feel higher in some competitive scenarios despite overall strong ROI.
