What I like most about Scrut Automation is its ability to automate compliance and security workflows, significantly reducing the manual effort involved in managing audits and regulatory requirements. Automated evidence collection from cloud services and business applications.Centralized dashboard for tracking compliance status and audit readiness. Continuous monitoring of security and compliance controls. Built-in support for frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR. Integrations with popular cloud platforms and productivity tools for seamless data collection. The most valuable feature is the automated evidence collection. Instead of manually gathering screenshots, logs, and configuration details during audits, Scrut Automation continuously collects and organizes the required evidence, saving considerable time and reducing the risk of missing documentation. The biggest benefit is improved efficiency and audit readiness. It enables security, compliance, and engineering teams to spend less time on repetitive compliance tasks and more time on strengthening their overall security posture.

What do you dislike about the product?

The biggest challenge is onboarding. Teams that are new to compliance automation may need some time to understand the platform, configure integrations, and align controls with their internal processes. Some compliance workflows require manual customization to match organization-specific processes. The dashboard can feel overwhelming for new users due to the number of controls and compliance requirements.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Scrut Automation solves the problem of manual compliance management and audit preparation. Instead of collecting evidence, tracking controls, and monitoring compliance status manually, it automates much of the process through continuous monitoring and integrations. Automates evidence collection for audits. Centralizes compliance tracking across multiple frameworks. Continuously monitors security controls and identifies gaps. Reduces manual effort required for audit preparation. Improves visibility into compliance status through a unified dashboard. In my day-to-day work, Scrut Automation helps streamline compliance activities by keeping documentation organized, tracking control status, and reducing repetitive administrative work. This allows teams to focus more on improving security rather than managing spreadsheets and collecting audit evidence. The biggest benefit is efficiency. By automating routine compliance tasks and providing real-time visibility into security controls, Scrut Automation shortens audit preparation time, reduces operational overhead, and helps organizations maintain continuous compliance with greater confidence.

It makes audits easy for me. I don’t have to gather a lot of evidences for audits because of the deep integrations.

What do you dislike about the product?

Nothing much to add. One thing they could include is being a SOR for items like an Access Control Matrix and an Asset Register, which would reduce a lot of the Excel work.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I’m a founder managing our tech infrastructure, DevOps, and IT on my own, on top of my day-to-day work. Audits and data security are extremely important for the business we’re in. At first, being audit-ready felt hard, but scruts helped me bring some method to the madness.

What do you like best about the product?

Scrut Automation makes compliance management much easier by automating evidence collection, offering clear visibility into compliance status, and helping organizations stay audit-ready with minimal manual effort. The user-friendly interface is easy to navigate, the integrations streamline day-to-day workflows, and the responsive support team is especially valuable when questions come up.

What do you dislike about the product?

So far, I haven’t encountered any major issues with the product. The main area I’d like to see improved is having more customization options, along with more advanced reporting features.

Scrut Automation removes a lot of the manual effort from compliance management by automating evidence collection, monitoring controls, and tracking compliance requirements. It saves us time, improves audit readiness, and gives better visibility into our overall security and compliance posture. Overall, it helps us stay on top of ongoing compliance with relevant industry standards.

What do you like best about the product?

I find Scrut Automation really helpful for SOC 2 compliance. It helped a lot in smoothing out the process. Even though there were some challenges during setup, it was still straightforward. Everything else about the product works fine, and I feel there's nothing that needs immediate improvement aside from the quickness of customer care representatives and the chat process.

I think everything is fine. Just the customer care representatives, or the chat process. Like, it needs to be quick.

Scrut Automation helped me with SOC two compliance. It helped a lot.

I love Scrut Automation because it helps me automate all the policies and the renewal processes. It also guides me and sends alerts to complete tasks on time, which is crucial for SOC 2 compliance and other certificates. Everything about Scrut Automation is just perfect. It's the most valuable tool we have. The automation features for maintaining policies are very helpful and high-performing, making it indispensable for us.

I use Scrut Automation to automate policy management and renewals. It guides and sends alerts for SOC 2 compliance and other certifications.

What do you like best about the product?

Most of the integrations are naturally supported. Also, UI/UX is intutive.

Sometimes things are diffcult to find in the vault.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Its helping us to review the processes and help in certifications like GDPR, ISO etc.

It’s very user-friendly, easy to understand and simple to navigate from start to finish.

Certain thingy are a little manual where I have had to go through each user and action rather than a multi select.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I think it helps us manage access within the organization and complete the required security trainings, which is overall a good thing for the business.

What do you like best about the product?

I like that Scrut Automation integrates with our cloud provider AWS, our identity management system Google Workspace, our MDM system NinjaOne, and our HR and payroll system Rippling. These integrations allow for automation of onboarding and offboarding employees, tracking device-level compliance for controls such as antivirus, disk encryption, patch status, and monitoring cloud services for vulnerabilities and best practices. Scrut performs over 100 automated tests and lists all findings and recommendations in a single dashboard, which is much more efficient than manually reviewing over 100k individual cloud assets. The initial setup was easy because the integrations took care of the majority of the workload.

What do you dislike about the product?

I have minor UI issues with Scrut Automation, such as page sorting and filters.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I find Scrut Automation helps with SOC 2 compliance by collecting evidence, tracking employee compliance, and automating cloud control testing. Its integrations automate onboarding, track device compliance, and monitor cloud vulnerabilities, saving me from manually reviewing countless assets.

Scrut is better than Vanta is all I can think rn
