Enhances Cost Transparency with Intuitive UI
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using IBM Cloudability for 15 years primarily for cost transparency, which is an essential aspect of my operations. I greatly appreciate its capability to provide visibility across multi-cloud environments, allowing me to manage and optimize my cloud resources effectively. The user interface of IBM Cloudability stands out as it is very easy to navigate, eliminating the need for extensive instructions or training, which saves me time and effort. Navigating through the software without much guidance has significantly enhanced my user experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that some of the canned reports provided by IBM Cloudability don't fit my business needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use IBM Cloudability for cost transparency and visibility across multi-cloud environments, and appreciate its easy-to-navigate user interface.

What do you like best about the product?
I greatly value IBM Cloudability's ability to consolidate all cloud spending from different vendors into a single, comprehensive view. This feature is incredibly beneficial for me as a leader, providing me with a strong capability to oversee and manage expenditures efficiently. Having all cloud expenses in one place streamlines monitoring and decision-making processes, which is critical in managing resources effectively. This capability not only enhances transparency but also enables more strategic financial planning and control within my organization.

The product has met our needs and I don't have any complaints.

I find IBM Cloudability valuable for seeing all cloud spends from different vendors in one place, enhancing oversight and decision-making.
Ad-Hoc Dashboards Make Data Analysis a Breeze
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to create ad-hoc dashboards and the transparency it provides to executives.
What do you dislike about the product?
The ability for people to create ad-hoc dashboards that conflict with other financial stories that are told; you can lock down some of the features and create customized views, but it's not easy.

Transparency of spend through tagging and credit application.

What I like best about IBM Cloudability is its powerful cost management and optimization capabilities across multi-cloud environments. It provides clear visibility into spending, helping teams make data-driven decisions to control costs and maximize cloud efficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface may be somewhat challenging for newcomers to navigate, as it can feel a bit complex at first. Furthermore, generating reports can occasionally be slow, especially when working with large datasets.

IBM Cloudability is solving the problem of uncontrolled cloud spending and lack of visibility across multiple platforms. It centralizes cost data, tracks usage, and identifies optimization opportunities. This helps in budgeting more accurately, reducing waste, and improving overall cloud cost efficiency for better financial control.

The ability to finops visibility across multiple clouds

Sometimes it is very hard to identify the resources entity variables to be able to pull it into report

The goal is to gain visibility into cloud costs across different teams in order to keep spending under control.

Monitoring can be more efffective for DB2 databases which can give more insights and deep down

What do you like best about the product?
Are easily to implement, use and have quick wins. PoCs and PoVs can show great gains and economies.
What do you dislike about the product?
We had some dificulties to import GCP (Google Cloud) master billing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The centralization of informations, useful dashboards and different views for different rules (CTOs, CFOs, DevOps teams, etc.)

learning curve is little bit more and finding product is difficult
