Good to review Cloud Spend
What do you like best about the product?
Friendly, easy to use to get insights into cloud use. Good visuals of cost

Customization, user interface, filtering

Manage cloud costs
Pretty good, but not the best
What do you like best about the product?
The product is relatively easy to use for basic use cases. The on-boarding team is thorough and was able to teach even senior FinOps individuals new approaches to maintaining healthy Cloud costs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the dashboarding features do not work well. The Cloudability product is always described as being deprecated in favor of the "new product". Simple things need to be adjusted on a monthly basis and cannot be auto-updated as competitor products easily handle.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cloudability enables our team to analyze cloud usage and consumption very quickly. This information is not as easily surfaced quickly in AWS. We can identify fast mechanisms to instantly reduce our cloud costs should it be necessary. We are now under budget.
It helps more to communicate and forcaste as well
What do you like best about the product?
It helps to manage technology department's storage, energy usage, cybersecurity and reporting obligations as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a number of unplanned outages, reporting could be cleaner.

Cost modelling, financial reporting.

We cannot customize or add some custom fields or columns based in our business needs for multi-cloud providers

data delays; not all data points (like Azure utilization) are available on cloudability

see timing cloud spending reports in one place, reduce the overhead to retrieve data from different cloud providers

Overall cloudability allowed us to track our spending and find ways to optimize our cloud costs

I wish there was an easier way to request features and have better documentation
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reducing costs during COVID and then future monitoring of the costs
Very helpful to automate costs tracking
What do you like best about the product?
The Cloudability API is great, it allow us to run reports passing customized "dimensions" that are used to track specific AWS tags, on this way we have a lot of granularity to isolate charges, at project and domain level.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the different Costs available for very specific AWS services are hard to be understand, I would say this is more related about how the charges are performed at AWS account level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The management of costs from multiple AWS accounts at enterpise level, having all the costs consolidated and also having access to the discounts at AWS enterprise level is very helpful, discounts are not tracked properly or they do not appear at all using the individual AWS account billing reports.

What do you like best about the product?
User interface, its integeration of cloud service provider cost and usage report and other utilization metric data to help analyze CSP spend and identify opportunities to optimize our cloud usage.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cloudability applied limitation on customer's ability to view data for a longer period. Limited filter features to analyze data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cloudability is solving my needs to gain visibility to my cloud spend. The benefits I get is close to near real time data for all my CSP within 1 a single location.

isn't easy to setup to get correct categories, tags to generate required reports. this config part isn't intuitive, but when it;s done all works ok
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
gen and track all AWS services and resources , get reports for all ec2, EBS and etc that can be optimized to lower TOC with recommendations
Cloudability has proved to be one of the leading CFM tools for cloud practitioners.
What do you like best about the product?
It allows to modify or control the recommendations for rightsizing VMs as per my requirements.
What do you dislike about the product?
Usage data is not available under utilization reports for Azure or GCP vms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has been very useful for cloud billing tracking and cost management.
