very useful and comprehensive tool

  • March 13, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It allows you to collect data and share it within all your business areas (marketing, sales, CRM, etc.).
Automations allow you to improve the performance of your funnel making it more engaging.
Creating CTA, Landing Pages and Forms is very simple and intuitive. The drag and drop system allows you to create LP even if you are not familiar with coding.
I recommend to connect HubSpot with your FB BM and Google Ads account to keep track of you efforts in paid advertising.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a while to master the tool. Some features are not so easy to understand at first.
Some tutorials available in the academy are too theoretical and do not show properly how the platform works.
If you don't move your blog entirely on Hubspot and you want to keep it on word press, even though you can use a plugin to connect your website with the platform, it doesn't allow you to use all the features that Hubspot offers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use hubspot mostly to generate leads for the company I work for. All our marketing campaigns are connected to the HubSpot marketing tool and it allows us to keep track of our traffic from the very beginning of the funnel until the lead is registered and contacted by our sales team.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Hubspot is definitely a solution to collect data and manage your marketing efforts. Thanks to its interconnected software, it allows you to share your marketing database with your sales software and CRM.

Complete and complex - make sure you are ready for it.

What do you like best about the product?
That almost everything I want to do exists and has been thought of before. Most things are intuitive and I can poke around and learn.
What do you dislike about the product?
The automation part to me is not easy to use on your own, unless you know what you are doing, has some sort of certification. This is not a problem in itself, is just something to keep in mind.
Designing emails, landing pages and blogs is easy, but you have to be willing to live with certain limitations as far as as the way it looks, etc.
The social media part feels a bit too basic, but at least it is there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to publish our content, track interactions, generate leads and manage them in a way that is seamlessly integrated with the CRM.
Being able to measure the results of each action easily and in real time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you don't have anything and are looking for something complete and willing to deal with the complexity, hubspot is a good choice. Poke around but before making decisions on segmentation and workflows, read, ask questions or get advice.

With HubSpot I make my marketing strategy a reality

  • March 03, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about HubSpot is that I can create landing, forms, CTAs, schedule content, send emails and track, all in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
I believe that HubSpot has an opportunity for improvement in its sales module, it is not as friendly as the marketing module and there are still many tasks that can be added to help sales.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The creation of landing for promotions and downloadables helps a lot to have assets of interest for the free consumption of the public
Recommendations to others considering the product:
With Hubspot you can program your entire strategy in advance and have a global marketing plan that includes downloadables, forms, ladings and others, all measured and organized.

Daily HubSpot user, managing CRM

  • February 26, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I am a daily user of HubSpot CRM. A super admin user with the Sales, Services, Reports & Marketing hubs. I enjoy using HubSpot because it's automated synchronization between contacts, companies, and activities make the daily operation so much simpler. The most helpful feature of HubSpot is the filter capabilities because it enables you to manipulate the data views in a lot of different ways making data management, lead generation and sales interactive and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only feature that I dislike about HubSpot is that it does not have the capability to recognize a company by name but only by domain. This causes some companies that have multiple domains to be seen as separate companies. HubSpot does have a Parent-Child Company feature that helps with this but the process is manual.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am responsible for adding leads into HubSpot and for maintaining the database. The Duplication Merge and the Import/Export features have greatly impacted my daily work. "Cleaning up" HubSpot is now so much easier.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Most definitely the best CRM software I ever used. I used a few during the past 30 years in IT and I will recommend HubSpot to everyone. Check out the HubSpot training Materials and articles before you buy them. HubSpot also has free versions to try out

More Flexible Than Other Platforms

  • February 25, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
★ Powerful enough for the seasoned marketer, easy enough for marketing newbies and wannabes
★ Huge list of integrations and agencies
★ Support is best in class
★ Documentation is best in class
What do you dislike about the product?
☹ There are some things that the Hubspot is "too" controlling on
☹ They're aggressive about rolling out new upgrades or updates (although patches and updates are always very well tested and never "buggy")
☹ Every once in a while they eliminate a good feature
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
★ We are striving to become inbound rock stars; our Hubspot client success rep is really helping us to get there quickly
★ We can quickly roll out new thought leadership, and refresh our brand nearly on the fly
★ We look forward to the day when we can do robust advanced lead scoring and workflows (which I did successfully in a previous job with Hubspot)
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you don't have dedicated in-house marketers, you should definitely engage a service agency to help. Make sure to use a top-tier agency or you'll have problems. Don't bother taking on advanced tiers until you have fully rolled out and are maximizing the basic functionality.

Just about everything

  • February 25, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use to import, curate lists, and deliver countless quality emails very easily. I have been using the product for 5 years and I have been happy about the new features they have been delivering over that time. Chat has been a lifesaver to our company for interacting with new customers and progressing them through our funnel.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I hit a paywall on the platform. I do feel like I am asked to pay extra for some advanced tools that really should come with the standard product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automation of the sales funnel. Easy to make emails and landing pages.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure your team is all in on using it.

What do you like best about the product?
Hubspot is very intuitive and interactive to use, the power of tracking is also super amazing
What do you dislike about the product?
The price is very high for me, that would be one of the weakest points
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The marketing solutions and being able to have everything my company need in one place. Also the nice integration for pages, blogs, and other web components are amazing

Why WOULDN'T you choose HubSpot?

  • February 24, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
HubSpot's arsenal of tools is so robust, there are endless ways to solve each business' unique challenges no matter how nuanced they may be. The full Growth Suite (or even just a combination of the Sales + Marketing hubs) is an absolute game-changer for team coordination and makes day-to-day processes so much more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've yet to experience any downsides with HubSpot
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Poor data transfer between systems, poor conversion rates between stages (within the buyer's journey) and weak handoff points between teams are all common issues that can drastically limit a business' growth. HubSpot was designed and is constantly updated to combat these obstacles, and its effectiveness is apparent in how much ROI businesses generate after effective implementation
Recommendations to others considering the product:
What's there to lose? Once you try any the free hub and begin to familiarize yourself with all the platform has to offer, you'll ask yourself why you didn't start sooner

Great if you can get everyone on board

  • February 24, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
HubSpot is great at allowing you to personalize the customer journey and organize your website/blog architecture. Updates to your website are easy and creating email nurturing journeys is a breeze once you get the hang of it. It is also easier to manage data and create campaigns based on lead/site visitor data than some other software that I've worked with before.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main problem with HubSpot, which isn't their fault, is just getting everyone on your team on the same page about how to use the tool. If we're all using it differently, then it's not as effective. Also, your team might not be able to use all of HubSpot's potential, depending on your industry. For example, within the financial services industry, we can only use certain compliance-approved software to store customer/lead data and so far HubSpot has not been approved from a compliance standpoint. Which means our landing pages and email campaigns have to be built using a separate software that integrates with the HubSpot platform. The result is a more complicated data structure that isn't as easy to segment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our latest project was to create a pillar page and reorganize our blog structure in order to optimize our website for search engines and users alike.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
1) The key to a great implementation of HubSpot is finding an agency partner to work with that knows what they're doing. Find an agency partner that has worked with HubSpot for quite some time and can also design the custom website modules in a manner that is easy to update on your end. You want to make sure that you won't be reliant on the agency after your website and implementation is launched.

2) The implementation will also undoubtedly take more time and attention than you were anticipating. Make sure you have a dedicated person on your team to see this through to completion and is willing and able to devote a large chunk of their time to this implementation. Web builds and implementation of hosting platforms take up much more hours of your team's time than you would think.

3) Be flexible and open to what exactly you want in your new website. Some of the features that would be "cool" might not be possible or would require you to invest more to have them developed and built out. You have to weigh what you want vs. need -- especially if you are on a deadline, such as needing the site launched by a conference/trade show appearance or something.

Great for CRM, less so for CMS

  • February 24, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
HubSpot's abilities as a CRM tool are second to none - easy to manage, excellent reporting tools and fantastic integration with forms and call-to-action buttons. Their email marketing platform is also excellent - really easy to use and to get analytics back afterwards. On top of that, the ability to create automated emails that get sent when someone, for example, downloads a one of our whitepapers, is a very handy addition that saves us lots of time and has resulted in some impressive open rates.

It's also very easy to add and manage additional users to our team, and sort out what permissions they have - even giving freelance developers access to certain parts of our accounts has been very simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their website builder tool and CMS options are easily the worst I've ever used. Nothing seems to be logical, a lot of it is very clunky to use, and the off-the-shelf options are really uninspiring. Having previously used Squarespace, Hubspot's website builder tools feel outdated and not very user-friendly. Their blog is also frustrating to use - formatting and font size seems to change quite randomnly and, again, it is not a very good user-experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collecting and processing leads, tracking them through the sales funnel and seeing how hot they are. The ability to track emails - see who has opened them, what they've clicked etc - is great, as is being able to see who is browsing our website in real time. The email marketing tool is also a big help - we can create campaigns in a few clicks, make sure everything is trackable, and have complete control over when we send things.
