Overall good, but still needs work
What do you like best about the product?
Workflows are easy to use and help me automate a large part of our processes. I have been able to automate marketing flows, sales flows, lead changes, accounting information, and even just some stuff to help keep our team in high spirits about the business. I also find the customization for notifications to be great because I am able to get information to my coworkers in their preferred method.
What do you dislike about the product?
Workflows do have some constraints that I find especially frustrating. Mainly that I can't use certain functions to trigger them. Playbooks and products are two prime examples of things that do not work well with workflows which in turn makes it hard for me to automate stuff around the sales process. Such as deal creation based off of specific products or property updates based on specific products. I also wish there was a way for me to ensure that our sales team can't move forward with closing a deal without filling out a specific playbook. Lastly, I find reports to be a little tricky to use at times, and I wish I could set up an automatic email to send out specific reports to my team once a week.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously our company seemed to be separated into a few separate teams and now thanks to Hubspot's workflows and automation I have been able to connect all parts of the cycle from lead to customer and beyond. Now, all team members can see when demos are booked and deals are closed. Plus it is becoming clearer how sales effects our customer success managers. I also find Hubspot's form builder to be fantastic. Being able to embed the code once and then any updates I make within Hubspot will also update on the website saves me so much time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have a dedicated CRM manager or marketing automation specialist then I think Hubspot is a great option. The interface will be easy for your team members to navigate and upper management can set reminders for team members to enter specific data which will help keep the data clean. However, there is a decent amount of upkeep especially when it comes to lead scoring, workflows, and email automation. Generally speaking, I like Hubspot a lot, but it still has plenty of flaws that need to be worked out so be prepared to find workarounds.

What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to create custom modules for website pages. This gives me the creative freedom to really get the most out of my skill set, and accomplish my goals as a web developer.
What do you dislike about the product?
If I had to pick something, and this is getting really down in the nitty-gritty, the rich-text editor used in website pages will sometimes add elements to paragraph text when pasting from a Google/Word Document.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A lot of what I do is refining/redesigning websites for clients who are new to HubSpot. Being able to have all the tool I need in one place, File Manager, Design Tools, Content Staging, is incredibly helpful.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
HubSpot truly is an all-in-one marketing tool. Everything you could possibly need is right there at your fingertips.

Some of the technical setup is tricky to workout. I struggled with setting up domains and URL's.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data cleansing, segmenting, audience analysis, professional looking comms. Social scheduling, advertizing and performance is all great.

What do you like best about the product?
The entire system provides a full platform for our SMB. We're able to outperform much larger organization as it allows us to be agile and have a similar technology stack to the large companies.
What do you dislike about the product?
The CMS was extremely outdated, they have recently launched a new version that is updated but the migration is manual.

What do you like best about the product?
The Customer Service is by far the best I have experienced with any B2B product or software. It is not unusual for me to call with a question and be on the phone for 30 minutes getting detailed answers specific to my situation. Talking the time to walk me through a process gives me peace of mind and confidence I can do it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Too many automated emails. It gets confusing for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Transitioning our website to HubSpot in order to provide a better customer experience. I have learned a lot in a short period of time, and feel confident that customers will benefit from this transition.

What do you like best about the product?
Web and email templates are simple, easy to update text and images, minor layout changes.
Platform is very fast. Dynamic lists auto-populate in seconds, even when pulling thousands of contacts using dozens of criteria.

What do you dislike about the product?
Not all email elements can be customized in the editor. Only text elements allow for html/css customization. Want to change the margins on an image? You'll have to export the html, update it, and re-import it as a template. Less than ideal.
Importing contacts as a way of creating lists is wonky, they clearly want you to manage your database in the platform, not using excel. (Which is fine, but leaves me needing to pay for additional integrations instead of doing list matching for free using CSVs)

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's inexpensive compared to other marketing automation platforms. Very similar in execution to what I have gotten from marketo in the past but at a fraction the price.
A great marketing asset for any business size!
What do you like best about the product?
Over all of the features of HubSpot, the best way to compliment here is the ease of use for new users. We've had HubSpot for 2 years now and having come into this platform with no previous experience, I have no complaints on the overall ability to learn, implement and report on our success growing inbound leads.
What do you dislike about the product?
Perhaps the areas for improvement would be within the conversations inbox. I've attempted to grow the usage with other team members and it wasn't without headaches in how clunky this area performs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visibility of contact engagement was an area we were needing to help determine next action/areas for improvement. Having web views, CTAs and form submissions all in one place, we've been able to create many dashboard reports to help us measure success.

Great content management system, which gives you thorough analytics/metrics.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish HubSpot had more features for social posting for Instagram. Still have to use Instagram's mobile app to post multiple photos in one post, or to post stories.

Easy way to share to multiple social media platforms at once.

Unfortunately there's not a lot of reliable web developers out there that use HubSpot to develop webpages.

Tying revenue to marketing activities through content marketing, email, and digital events.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take the time carefully with the implementation specialist. Run through a bunch of scenarios. You can almost anything in HubSpot you can imagine.

What do you dislike about the product?
When making small changes in the design of a page (even if it just means adding an icon or image) you always have to work in the template or create a completely new one. For this, I usually need help of a web designer or coder.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having everything (website, CRM, marketing tools) in one place. All of the tools are connected and you can do a lot with the data you collect. That's fantastic.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Read a lot in advance about the inbound marketing method. Then Hubspot will make total sense!
