Easy to jump into CMS
What do you like best about the product?
The CMS is very intuitive. I've never worked in HubSpot before just a few weeks ago, but I have worked in Shopify, WordPress, and Expression Engine. I really like the templates function and how there's a way to visualize how templates will be displayed within the files portion of the platform, with quick access to the code if needed. It has the right combination of drag & drop functionality and developer control.
I also like some of the simple things, like the CTA creator. It's so nice not to have to go to my creative team to have a new CTA button created AND it's bullet-proof! Even better.
But the best part, is probably the creating of Webpages. My non-technical/non-developer creative folks were in that area of the CMS doing most of the work creating webpages. They were able to get them to to look how they wanted, add images, links, and format as needed with the WYSIWIG editor. Just a few drags of elements and clicks and a webpage is created!
I also like some of the simple things, like the CTA creator. It's so nice not to have to go to my creative team to have a new CTA button created AND it's bullet-proof! Even better.

What do you dislike about the product?
I disliked how some functioned were controlled at the settings level. I was racking my brain and wasting time trying to find why there was padding around a template when I couldn't find it in my code. But, explored the settings to find 40px padding around some template elements. Set that to 0px and I was on my way. But kind of annoying because you wouldn't expect design elements to be controlled in the settings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We created our new website entirely within the HubSpot CMS. It looks fantastic, it functions flawlessly, and we're very pleased with the outcome. The customer experience is must better than our past site and we're so happy with how the CMS integrates with the CRM and marketing tools of HubSpot. We're excited to continue to build out the capabilities and reap the benefits.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
HubSpot is a fantastic option. I come from using Salesforce.com CRM and Marketing Cloud and was quickly able to dive into HubSpot and be effective right away. It's a very intuitive platform. I was blown away by the ease of use and the support and help options available. The functionality you can get at the price point proves it's an amazing value too!
Review of the HubSpot CMS
What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to purchase templates to use for our company. For someone that is not big into coding, it makes life a lot easier. I am a huge fan of the HubSpot drag and drop editor, it makes working within the system flawless. I can design something to look exactly the way it is in my head with just a couple clicks. I also like that HubSpot offers SEO recommendations to make our website the best it can be.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly am pretty happy with the HubSpot CMS overall. I don't really have any complaints. I feel like it's a pretty straight forward tool to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By having the ability to analyze our webpages I can dig into the data to find out what is working on our website and what isn't. I am also able to build reports for the exec team to easily give them insight into what is happening on our site.
Great CRM capabilities - wish a few more features came with it for how expensive it is.
What do you like best about the product?
The email marketing and website traffic / referral data - helps me better determine where to spend ad dollars on online marketing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, the website builder is quite laggy and it doesn't always cooperate. There have been a few SEO issues as well with h1 tags & images. that Hubspot has been unable to resolve. I do wish they had more tech / website developers that can assist in these instances, if they are going to offer the tools to build a website. Apart from that, a positive experience, nonetheless.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Email and content marketing plan is much simpler to manage, as well as contact management - far better than Infusionsoft. However, would like to be able to access unused lists easier when generating new emails - they stop showing up after you haven't used them in a few months.
All-in Marketing tool
What do you like best about the product?
Hubspot is a very complete tool. HS offer many services for email marketing, automation - workflows, database management, website, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
As doing many things is definitely an advantage, some times HS is not good enough on every of these 'tools'.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem we're solving with HS is that allows us to keep track of the customer journey and create multiple touchpoints in the same platform. We can also report on performance and manage our database.

It's not a cheap tool, but will save you a lot from having multiple providers and using several platforms

What do you like best about the product?
HubSpot CMS makes it really easy to align on creating a new website experience. Without to much background knowledge in CSS you can easily create a well verse website and there is loads of content templates to start with.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside is the ability to really use drag and drop editor in some of the templates and that would be a huge benefit for less technical marketeers

we are able to update website pages in a matter of minutes rather than the previous turnaround time of days. It makes it very easy for the fellow marketeers to add and update content quickly.

Creating effective website pages in Hubspot is easy.
What do you like best about the product?
Using Hubspot CMS is easy to learn and makes it easy to create attractive website pages in minutes. You can also edit the source code to improve the look and feel of the page. Support is available when the user has questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Even with the Hubspot tools available to create the website pages, sometimes I cannot always edit the page exactly how I want it. However, this could be lack of knowledge on my part. Because of the ease of use, I taught myself how to clone and create pages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By having Hubspot CMS, we can create websites pages ourselves and not have to have an outside vendor update our site. We can make changes at any time and publish immediately. Integrating forms on the pages has driven more business to our staff.
Amazing software! There is so much you can learn using Hubspot and every tool is so useful.
What do you like best about the product?
The thing I enjoy most using on Hubspot is the SEO recommendations. It helps us guarantee everything we post is optimized.
What do you dislike about the product?
The project management tool needs more to it. I wish it would be more interactive so I can bring in more team members into the process. Also, I would enjoy it if Hubspot could add a feature that allows you to work on a blog or any type of text with another member to ensure everything is saved correctly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There is so much to learn about marketing. I never realized new ways to market your products or services can be so impactful and effective. So far, using Hubspot Academy has taught me so much about marketing strategies and SEO. Using HubSpot you have the power to help your business succeed and be at its full potential. You save so much time using the software. It is also a very interactive tool that keeps you engaged and awarded every little detail.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go for it! The best resource you could ever have in your organization. If at any time you have a question, a HubSpot expert will quickly respond in the chatbox. You will receive your answer in a matter of seconds. Also, you don't need to be a pro to use Hubspot because it is very user-friendly and has all the resources available for you to use. For example, Hubspot Academy is there to mentor you on how to use Hubspot, new strategies, and more.
Incredibly powerful marketing tool
What do you like best about the product?
The amount of analytics we collected was astounding. On our site, we could see how much time was being spent on specific pages and with emails we could easily see views and open rates. Our Demo Request form fields easily synced with Salesforce, allowing us to make sure sales could determine correct leads.
What do you dislike about the product?
As our company's creative designer, it was difficult to learn and understand the design interface and get the site to look exactly how we intended. Luckily we were able to find and implement a theme, which we then customized. This is probably my biggest dislike - the limitations on site design.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Digital communication during COVID-19 has become our. highest priority. We've produced gated content, created landing pages, and can track who downloaded those assets.
A transition to HubSpot CMS
What do you like best about the product?
Our team recently transition from an outdated CMS platform into HubSpot CMS. This transition was well received by the management of the corporation as it allowed us to bring our website to the 21st century and really build something that is beautiful, secure, and easy to maintain. The simplicity of updating content, and making sure our website is up to date at all times has become greatly beneficial to us. We have also been able to start becoming more proactive with our marketing strategies because the CMS hub allows us to integrate our campaign to different pages of our website, as well as track our campaign analytics successfully.
What do you dislike about the product?
When we made the transition into the HubSpot CMS, we ended up pulling our ECC into a different platform (Magento). Our next step is to implement the Hubspot/Magento integration to make sure we are gathering the right information from our ECC within Hubspot. I think this integration could be made simpler to ensure that the transition and analytics are performing as expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Some of the problems that we have been able to solve with the CMS Hub include security, maintenance, and campaign integration. Before we made the switch into the Hubspot CMS we were experiencing security issues that were driving us to clean implement a backup or the website every week. We were also experiencing speed issues and our SEO score was affected by unfriendly mobile pages. With the new website, all of these problems have disappeared.
