Bynder is the best DAM solution for our agency.
What do you like best about the product?
Bynder offers us the ability to customize our DAM for our agency in a way that makes sense with our workflows. The usability is above and beyond our former DAM platform, and switching to Bynder was one of the best decisions we've made. The customer support was impeccable since day 1, and the support team was exceptionally knowledgable and helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the one thing I dislike about Bynder is the limitations with collections. I'd love to see something like a "smart" collection that is more secure when sharing outside our agency, to external users. Being able to apply a filter and add to a collection automatically when the appropriate metadata is assigned would be a great feature to have. Also, some improvement to the back end interface for editing metaproperties and automations would be nice. But these things are so minor. I can't stress enough how much of an improvement the Bynder DAM is compared to our previous platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bynder allows us to organize our visual assets in a way that fits our workflows and established processes. By allowing us to customize everything from the ground up, we've been able to launch a platform that is intuitive to our users from the very beginning. The learning curve for our users has been minimal, and the DAM is something that our folks have been excited to use. It does everything we want it to do, and more. We have precise control over the use and distribution of our assets while also being able to allow everyone in our agency to view these assets. We love it. I love it. And the customer support is impeccable.
Excited to see future developments
What do you like best about the product?
Bynder will serve as a much more functional replacement for Sharepoint, where we used to store all our marketing content. Onboarding was incredibly detailed and adjusted to our pace.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few features that seem intuitive, but don't exist in Bynder - namely, the opportunity to create folders to organize content. If we were a large design team trying to share pictures and graphics with each other (much like the Fruit demo environment is set up), I think Bynder would be perfect. But for sharing actual content pieces (ebooks, white papers, infographics, etc.), with an external audience, I'm not sure it was the best choice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Much easier to find content pieces, especially for our sales team.
A great onboarding experience
What do you like best about the product?
The Portal is easy to use and very instinctive, I've found it quick to pick up and pass the knowledge on to my colleagues.
I found the onboarding process very thorough and useful. Adam & Marilu were friendly and helpful throughout the process and they communicated quickly and effectively, answering any questions I had promptly or pointing me in the right direction.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the features that are not included in the basic package would be good to have without paying extra.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
During my research, I identified several common issues our marketing team
faces that the new D.A.M. system can help resolve:
• Lack of a centralised place to store and organise assets
• Difficulty locating assets quickly, negatively impacting time management
• Frequent use of shortcuts or old assets due to time constraints
• Inconsistent storage and naming conventions across teams
• Reliance on various third-party software or apps for sharing assets
internally and externally

Bynder Software and Support Team Review
What do you like best about the product?
Bynder so far has been a good platform to use. The team was very great at answering any questions we had and being there for us when we needed. I also like that they will continue to be there to help us once we get off and running with this. The helped implement this for us in an efficient manner.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I disliked about our experice was that we have not gotten to fully use the platform yet - It would hve been more helpful to use it live.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It should help us be able to have less errors/issues than our last platform. It should make things easier and faster on our end.
Who thought onboarding would be so fun??
What do you like best about the product?
Our company audited many DAM systems, and we were particular about our requirements and business needs. Bynder satisfied the most of our needs, and working with Kristen H. during the sales process was a breeze. She was attentive and knowledgeable, and, most of all, respectful of our schedules and workloads. We weren't constantly being hounded by a sales person to sign sign sign. She was our first point of contact with Bynder, and we knew than that anyone else would have a hard time stacking up to Bynder – to both their people and platform. It was a unanimous decision to sign with Bynder.
The onboarding process with Rachel J. was nothing short of delightful. Our CSM, Lorenzo, attended every onboarding call, so we are confident he will be ready for whatever crazy questions we come up with in the future. We covered a lot of useful information in each session, and we did so with a lot of laughs and comraderie. The Bynder calls easily were some of my favorite calls of the week because of Rachel and Lorenzo.
What impressed me the most was the planning for our onboarding. The workbook/Gsheet we worked out of alone was incredibly impressive to me. There wasn't a single session where we weren't sure what we were to be working on, or what was leftover from a previous meeting. Rachel was incredibly organized, which left me feeling amazingly supported during the process (especially, as I am not always nearly as organized...). Taking a deeper dive into the platform, I became more and more impressed at the number of features built in. I must have asked about a million questions over the entire onboarding process, and Rachel knew the answer to all of them, or where to find the answer otherwise.

What do you dislike about the product?
A major factor that contributed to decision to sign with Bynder was their integration capability with Drupal. When the time came to learn more about this piece, it is a module that is not controled or managed by Bynder. Pertaining to this module, how it interacts with our website and media, and testing the module before launching, I did not feel as confident in the answers I was getting, compared to all of my questions about the Bynder platform.
Like any platform, there were some areas where I would wish for improvements. For example, with the Brand Guidelines, not being able to rearrange the Theme colors (they appear in the order you enter them, and to change this, you have to delete them all and reenter the colors), and not being able to have global style settings for the widgets (to change the padding, width, etc. requires going into each widget, which is slow, esp if you're changing everything to the same value). I am very excited to propose enhancements for items like these.

A&O Shearman on-boarding process with Bynder
What do you like best about the product?
Very hands on, can do attitude with a great practical and structured delivered method. The Bynder on-boarding team (Bjorn Burger & Shelly Biro) were very flexible with our demanding implementation timeline and supported the project team to deliver a very successful launch in particularly challenging time for our firm.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to mention. The Bynder team should continue to follow the process there are following.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Aligning two seperate firms on a combined platform, used by all 8,000 employees.
Top notch onboarding team and experience
What do you like best about the product?
Great features, helpful and responsive customer support, somewhat easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Platform UI could use some improvement, be more intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bynder is creating a single source of truth for brand digital assets and creating efficiencies in how we find, share, create assets. It will help us ensure more brand consistency, ease brand governance and rights management.
Bynder Review
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use. The onboarding process is not rushed which helps get comfortable with the product. Our onboarding manager was super helpful and responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
We wish we had more of an idea of the types of processes we might need to create internally to use the DAM once we were fully onboarded. We also wish we had more information before implementation on the different integrations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We now have an easier way to view our assets, search for them, and see when they have been used previously so we don't over use anything.
Great product, excellent onboarding & customer service
What do you like best about the product?
We recently implemented Bynder, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. So far, we have implemented the core asset portal, the studio, and the guidelines products.
We have a really complicated business structure, so it felt daunting to have to establish taxonomy and use cases for our needs. However, the customer success team was excellent: sharing best practices, and being willing to test things out with us. Once we got our plan together, the building itself was really straightforward because the platform is very user friendly and modern. As a result: once launched our team members have been able to jump into the platform with almost no training, and use it to access their needs.
There’s a lot of great features like bulk uploads and AI meta-tagging, that really helped catalog things faster as we transitioned. And the various modules, like studio and guidelines are exactly what we needed to enhance the efficiency of creative delivery, as well as govern brand consistency.
The platform is a win for us, and the flow of training/onboarding and building was well-structured, ensuring we were set up for success from the beginning. Big shout out to our key partners Bjorn and Juliette. Their expertise, support, and good humor made all the difference! :)

What do you dislike about the product?
Our overall experience with Bynder has been highly positive. Some minor things that we’ve noticed that leave room for improvement:
There are a bunch of different product modules that can be connected to the core DAM portal itself, but don’t necessarily talk to each other. Which doesn’t impact the effectiveness of each. But would be even more efficient if they all talked to each other.
Sales/RFP Experience: Overall was very friendly and informative. Only feedback is that given the extensive capabilities of the platform, its challenging to grasp all the features through demos and PDFs alone. It would have been incredibly helpful to have access to a hands-on full sandbox version (beyond core DAM/Assets), allowing us to explore and experiment with the various modules.

Customer Onboarding Excellence
What do you like best about the product?
Björn and Juliette made the onboarding experience with Bynder such a success for the team. From answering question after question with kindness and direction to making sure we knew the platform in and out for launch, the whole process has been a pleasure. Thank you so much!!!
What do you dislike about the product?
I can not think of a downside to working with this team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ensuring that our creative teams all have the correct assets. Ensuring that our marketing department has the most up to date information, assets, and rights to use. Also ensuring that we are using licensed images/videos correctly without going over the timeline of usage.
