Bynder makes managing and sharing assets easy!
What do you like best about the product?
We've been using Bynder as our Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform for the past few months, and it's been an excellent addition to our business operations. The platform has significantly improved the way we store, organise, and share our digital assets across both our internal and external stakeholders. Its user-friendly and easy to navigate interface and powerful search functionality make it easy for everyone in the organisation to find exactly what they need, quickly and efficiently.
Bynder has helped streamline our workflows, maintain brand consistency, and save countless hours that were previously spent searching for files or managing outdated versions. It’s more than just a tool, it’s become a central hub for our creative and marketing teams.
There has been extensive support from the onboarding team since we started our journey. Carina has been excellent to work with, she has met with us weekly to ensure we are moving through the extensive and well-planned onboarding process. Our business set up and organisation of the DAM has been challenging as it is quite complex, but Carina has continued to learn about our business and the way we work, to ensure she can support us and answer our many questions quickly and efficiently. Implementing a new product can feel daunting but we have been put at ease by the constant support and feedback from Carina.

What do you dislike about the product?
We are still within the beginning of our journey and have not found any major issues or problems with selecting Bynder as our provider.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bynder has been a game-changer for our digital asset management. It allows us to store everything in one place, making it easy for teams to stay organised and aligned. We no longer waste time digging through folders as everything is now centralised. Sharing assets is seamless, whether it’s with internal teams or external stakeholders. With secure links and permission settings, we can easily distribute files without relying on email attachments or third-party tools.
One of the standout features is Bynder’s AI-powered search. We can find assets using natural language, image recognition, or even by searching text within images. It’s fast, intuitive, and accurate. Another feature we find useful within the business is how tailored the platform can be to different user groups - we are able to gatekeep assets and keep complete control over who can access what.
Overall, Bynder has streamlined our workflows, improved collaboration and made managing digital content simpler and smarter.

Simple and sufficiently complex at the same time.
What do you like best about the product?
Smart filters and artificial intelligence enable the easy discovery of content even in complex organizations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Errors can occur through the automatic transfer of the first taxonomy draft compared to the manual setup, which then requires manual checking and possibly reconfiguration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bynder combines a modern DAM with additional relevant features such as templating and workflow management, and offers possibilities to be integrated into an existing MarTech environment.
Great Bynder Experience
What do you like best about the product?
Bynder has made such a difference for my team, it is easy to use, the onboarding process was thorough, and it has been extremely efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing is that it is time consuming to set up since our company has been around for years and our assets are all over the place, but once we get set up, Bynder will be extremely helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The number one problem that Bynder is solving is making it easier to share and find assets cross-functionally. This has been a huge benefit to our team because it has made workflows more seamless and efficient, and has saved us time and stress.
Friendly and listening TSM
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it's personalisable and that we get access to staff to suit our needs. Brynlee was very helpful and took notes of all our comments and requests and passed them on to be added in.
The tags are easy to use and the search bar combines with them for targeted search. We could make our own quick changes from the admin account and have the bulk ones done by the team. Changes were reflected in the DAM straight away. Now that I have worked on it, I use it regularly since the categories are now more relevant and the tagging was fixed.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some minor formatting things are missing to create the homepage but it has been requested to be added by the TSM. Also, I wish some tags at upload would work bottom up to ease the process eg. when tagging something with Germany it would directly tag DACH region. Some operations had to be done twice or more before they would appear eg. when uploading an image as a category icon, even after saving it did not appear.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Have a big space for all our heavy assets. Allows us to share official guidelines and images between countries, see what everyone is doing and make sure we use images we have the rights for and that are relevant.
Our global brand assets hub: centralised, governed, adopted
What do you like best about the product?
Bynder has become the backbone of our global brand hub. Search is fast, metadata adapts well to our complex brand and market structures, and permissioning is highly granular, though understandably complex to manage at our scale. A major strength is the ability to empower agencies and local markets with self-service asset discovery, which they rely on daily.
Thanks to sustained centralisation efforts over several years, adoption and shared asset management principles have been strong across our organisation. Throughout our partnership, the customer success and support teams have been consistently responsive, pragmatic, and solution-oriented.

What do you dislike about the product?
The areas for improvement are mainly refinements. Analytics could go deeper, with more ready-made dashboards on portal engagement, user patterns and asset usage. Bulk operations on very large asset sets often require service requests to Bynder, which can slow down certain activities, though not critically. While the overall UX is strong, some areas could be more intuitive, such as asset upload, the validation room, and the platform administration space. The notification system also lacks flexibility, which can lead to users overlooking important updates amid generic pings. That said, new features are being released regularly, and we’re optimistic that many of these points will improve over time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organising the multinational context of dozens of brands each having a unique identity and tone of voice.
Best on boarding experience
What do you like best about the product?
Sandy and Francine's weekly set up calls with Bynder felt like warm hugs. They were honest, friendly, knowledgeable and supportive. We left each week feeling empowered and understood. They clearly had some sort of outline of topics, but they definitely spent time prior to each call thinking through specific use cases for our brand and our purpose. I work with a lot of portals and national account systems, and these set ups are almost always just one-off meetings or done through outsourced, international call centers. This was great!
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the homepage setup process odd. I wish the blocks allowed me to drop more text without fully developing coded-custom pages like the upsell levels. I wish I could do more on the home page more easily. Their "news" structure with arbitrary dates to decide placement is very hard to wrap your head around. Once you get it, you can make it work, but it definately be simpler and more user friendly. It feels like I've "hijacked" a system, rather than using it for its intended purpose.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to get branded materials and support assets to our dealer network easily.
Great Digital Asset Management Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Bynder support is super helpful and responsive. The Customer Success Manager is attentive and walked us through the roll out process of the new module.
What do you dislike about the product?
The taxonomy does not allow for a hierarchy of folders and subfolders, which makes it more challenging to reflect product families within product groups.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ensuring all digital assets of the company are located in a centralized depository that is easily accessible and intuitive
A Game-Changer for Asset Management
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful feature is how it streamlines collaboration-whether it's marketing, creative, or rep groups, everyone has quick access without wasting time searching or recreating assets.
What do you dislike about the product?
Bynder is a very strong platform, so there isn't much that feels "least helpful". If I had to choose, I'd say some of the more advanced customization options take time to fully learn. That said, once you're familiar, they become powerful and flexible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bynder solves our biggest challenges with asset management by eliminating verion confusion, saving time searching for files, and ensuring brand consistency. Its centralized library and automation tools streamline workflows and give us confidence that teams always use the right assets.

A User-Friendly DAM with Powerful Features – and Some Frustrating Gaps
What do you like best about the product?
1) Advanced taxonomy and approval workflows: The platform shines in organizing digital assets through flexible taxonomy options and robust approval queues. This structure ensures order, consistency, and better governance over uploaded content.
2) Intuitive interface and usability: Bynder offers a smooth and user-friendly interface that requires little training. However, some recent changes have made it less intuitive — e.g. the central menu overlapping with images (see example in the screenshot attached).
3) Strong AI-powered search: The integrated AI search engine is a real highlight, making it fast and effective to locate assets even in large, complex libraries. This saves time and significantly boosts productivity.
4) Wide integration possibilities (with caveats): Bynder provides connectors and a marketplace to link with various third-party systems, from stock image providers to cloud storage. While valuable, these integrations often come with practical limitations.

What do you dislike about the product?
1) Onboarding could be better: The onboarding process feels too generic and not always aligned with a customer’s specific goals. External partners involved sometimes lack deep expertise in the platform’s advanced technical options.
2) Integrations are unclear and often paid: Many integrations either require additional payment or lack transparency in how they actually function. When issues arise, support often shifts responsibility to external partners, leaving users in a frustrating gray area.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bynder helps centralize and organize all digital assets in one place, making them easier to find, manage, and share securely. The AI-powered search and advanced taxonomy save a lot of time that used to be wasted recreating or looking for files. It also provides strong governance with approval workflows and rights management.
The main benefit is efficiency: everything is faster and more structured. However, the real value comes when you invest time in learning the platform yourself. If used autonomously, it’s a very powerful tool that can streamline processes and improve collaboration. Support and onboarding tend to be more focused on speed than customization, so I’ve found it better not to rely too heavily on them.
