It provides actionable intelligence for my Security Operations team to protect the business I work for.

It can be quite complicated at first to set up and start extracting value.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The platform provides monitoring and alerting for brand and VIP mentions on hacker forums and the dark web. It also notifies users if identities have been compromised. Additionally, it offers malware analysis and evaluates the risk associated with IP addresses, domain names, and URLs. The service further includes monitoring security alerts related to high-risk third-party vendors.

I would say I still see a lot of noise, so not always easy to find the actionable information and turn into insights

As a security engineer, I really value the depth of intelligence across open, dark, and technical sources, all unified through the Intelligence Graph. The integrations with SIEM and SOAR tools make it easy to operationalize intelligence and improve response times. Overall, Recorded Future’s data quality, automation, and ease of use make it an essential part of our security stack.

Recorded Future currently provides us with threat intel related to our industry.
We recently acquired licensing for the identity monitoring module which also provides us insight into leaked credentials for any of our own and our customer identities for our platforms.

Insightful Threat Intelligence, But Identity Module Needs Refinement
What do you like best about the product?
I like using Recorded Future for its unique way of allowing my organization to understand what our PIR malware families may be, further allowing us to understand the MITRE TTPs leveraged by them
What do you dislike about the product?
The Recorded Future Identity module to date has provided my organization with approximately "8000" compromised credentials, with only 11 of them actually being colleagues. We have set the password complexity and naming schema and still it provides alot of noise.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are starting to use it for our Microsoft Patch Tuesday reporting with fairly effective results as this could streamline the process that we are currently doing manually.

I like the ability to gain insight from a variety of sources, from vendor news, the dark web and Recorded Future's own analyst to get insights that helps keep my organization safe.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a lot of modules to Recorded Future and not having all of them does limit our ability to get full use of the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Recorded Future is helping us identify stolen credentials being offered for sale on the dark web, information on vulnerabilities in our technology stack and domains that may be impersonating our company brand.
