Recorded Future Delivers Real-Time Threat Intelligence with Unmatched Data Breadth

  • April 22, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best is the breadth of its data collection. Recorded Future excels at aggregating massive amounts of open-source, dark web, and technical data into a single, searchable platform. It saves our team a lot of time on manual research by giving us real-time visibility into the global threat landscape.
What do you dislike about the product?
he primary drawback is the pricing model. Recorded Future is a premium tool with a price tag to match, which can be hard to justify for smaller security teams or organizations with limited budgets. Sometimes the cost of additional modules feels a bit steep compared to the incremental value they provide.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
So called"alert fatigue."
My team spent 60% of their day manually researching IP addresses, file hashes, and domain names across dozens of different websites to see if an alert was a real threat.
The Benefit: Recorded Future centralizes all that context. It automates about 70% of that manual research

Enormous Threat Intel Coverage with Well-Updated, Workflow-Ready Insights

  • February 18, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
As I’ve been using the TI tool, I’ve found that it pulls from an enormous range of sources—dark web, open web, malware analysis, threat feeds, and AI—and helps us process that information in real-life workflows with well-updated insights.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall, this tool is good in nature and provides almost all the threat-hunting capabilities I need, along with other hunting features and smart threat intelligence. It also delivers results for tactics, which is helpful. Because of that, I don’t really have any dislikes from my point of view, and the same goes for the members in my environment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In our environment, we use RF, and it’s about time we had the option to check sandboxing features and other items through the extension option as well. We do receive full details through alerts sent by email and other channels, but the information we’re getting isn’t familiar to us and isn’t very clear.

Rich Historical Data and Comprehensive Information

  • February 18, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Large amount of information available along with the historical data. Brand monitoring, threat monitoring, vulnerability monitoring and TPRM related solutions are very useful and informative.
What do you dislike about the product?
Bulk reports are not possible in case of reputation checks or analysis. For example, If I have multiple IP addresses, I cannot upload and get the malicious score in one go. I have to manually look for all the records.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Giving deeper information, historical data, continuous brand and threat monitoring with effective findings. Appropriate with IOCs data, information and AI generated summaries. Alerting rule mechanism helps to identify and filter out organization specific alerts, categorize and investigate more effectively.

What do you like best about the product?
I truly value the comprehensive intelligence offerings that Recorded Future provides, including Indicators of Compromise (IOCs), vulnerabilities, and brand intelligence. This platform is renowned in the industry, particularly for its capabilities in providing intel that meets the diverse needs of my customers. I appreciate the multi-tenant environment it offers, allowing a streamlined management process as part of my Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) base SKUs. Furthermore, I appreciate the ease of use after initial setup, facilitated by the training and certification provided to my technical team. The solution becomes even more attractive with its ability to integrate seamlessly with other platforms, offering compounded value. Recorded Future’s partnership with us is invaluable, and their ongoing enhancements, especially in automation and AI, are compelling. I find the diversity of features—from tech integration to effective attack management and vulnerability intelligence—consistently beneficial for both my operations and my clients. Additionally, the platform’s evolution towards strategic partnerships and the integration of threat intel providing a holistic view is a significant highlight for strategic growth in my organization.

Recorded Future solves intelligence and vulnerability management, adding value with threat hunting and surface management suitable for MSSP needs, enhancing operations with a multi-tenant platform, best-of-breed solutions, and integration capabilities.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how easy it was to set up Recorded Future—it made the initial process straightforward and hassle-free. The software provides valuable insights into the geopolitics around Bonnie Blue, which is crucial for me as it informs me about international travel trends related to this area. This feature particularly stood out, as it helps me track where Bonnie Blue is going to be every week, allowing me to plan visits accordingly. Overall, Recorded Future's ability to deliver timely and pertinent information regarding locations and events is impressive. I even find it compelling enough to consider purchasing a license next year so long as these updates continue. My likelihood to recommend this service to others is extremely high, indicative of my satisfaction with its capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that Recorded Future cannot provide me with precise future predictions regarding Bonnie Blue's whereabouts two days in advance. This feature would be incredibly useful for planning and would enhance the service significantly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Recorded Future provides insights on the geopolitics around Bonnie Blue, helping me track global interest and plan my visits.
