Easy Doc Uploads, Better AI answers for Consistently Solid Output
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, upload docs, train the language model to create solid output.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limits for the total number of RFPs that could drive up the cost later in the year/contract
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Steerlab provided us with a better user experience with AI-powered assistance, content, tone of voice, and multi-collaborator flows.
Great RFP Upload & Retrieval, but Too Many AI Hallucinations

The ability to upload full RFPs and have the content retrievable for the future

AI is hallucinating way more than other AI products currently

Scaling answering RFPs and Security Questionnaires
Easy Onboarding, But Missing Features and Clunky Formatting
What do you like best about the product?
It’s easy to use and doesn’t take much time to get new employees up and running.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few features that seem to be missing (or maybe I just haven’t explored everything thoroughly yet). For example, it would be great to respond to RFPs in the customer’s language to better reflect their terminology in our answers. Also, the formatting can be a bit difficult to navigate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To gather answers more effectively: we used to store past RFP responses in Excel and search through them by keyword, which was very time-consuming. As a Sales Enablement Manager, I no longer need to collect information and manually update Excel files - everything can now be synced directly to Steerlab
Streamlined RFPs and Time Savings, But Feature Updates Feel Slow
What do you like best about the product?
It has streamlined our RFP process and helped us save time overall.
What do you dislike about the product?
They aren’t very quick to ship new features, and they also don’t communicate upcoming or newly released features in a timely way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to respond to RFPs faster has been a real benefit.
Great workflow automation, but analytics and insights need to go deeper

Automisation of processes and makes workflows more easy.

The insight layer could be deeper. There are still to few analytics and strategic insights.

Interesting Concept, But Limited Utility and Unreliable High-Percentage Answers

The idea is interesting, but in practice, its utility is quite limited.
What do you dislike about the product?
High-percentage answers are often wrong.

It simplifies questionnaire management
Best in class for enterprise RFP teams
What do you like best about the product?
We evaluated Loopio and RFPIO before choosing Steerlab. What won us over was how fast the AI generates a very good first draft without maintaining a Q&A library. Our review cycles are noticeably shorter now.
What do you dislike about the product?
Version history on collaborative edits could be cleaner when multiple people edit the same section at once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lengthy review cycles where proposals sat in someone's inbox for days. Steerlab's workflow features keep thing moving and visible so nothing falls through the cracks.
No more spreadsheet hell for security reviews
What do you like best about the product?
I mainly use it for security questionnaires. The AI pulls from our previous responses accurately and the quality is consistent. Way better than maintaining a massive.
What do you dislike about the product?
You stiil need to double check AI answers on compliance heavy questions, but the confidence score alerts you

Managing hundreds of recurring security questions across multiple prospects. It was eating up my entire week before steerlab
Small team big output
What do you like best about the product?
We are a small team so we can't afford to have people sending days on proposals. Steerlab lets our sales reps handle most REPs themselve without needing a dedicated proposal person. Game changer for lean teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their customers were mainly mid-market and enterprise. As one of their first smaller clients, the original pricing structure was not built for our profile. After our feedback, they adjusted the model created a more appropriate offer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not having enough people to respond to every RFP that comes in. We used to pass on opportunities because we simply didn't have the bandwidth. Not anymore.
Messy Excel files finally under control
What do you like best about the product?
We get questionnaires in the worst Excel formats you can imagine. Merged cells and hidden tabs and conditional formatting everywhere. Steerlab imports them cleanly and exports back to the original format as-is.
What do you dislike about the product?
Word files could benefit from a better detection sometimes but overall it's good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used to spent long hours fillout out complex security and technical questionnaires which takes valuable time away from product building. Now I can just upload my files in Steerlab get a first draft, edit a few things and send it.
