Keeps Our Messaging and Proof Points Consistent Across Every Proposal
Reviewed on Jun 25, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I get pulled into proposals more than people expect from a marketing director, mostly to support case studies and keep messaging consistent. Steerlab keeps our approved messaging and proof points in one place, so sales doesn’t end up describing our offering five different ways across five different bids. It’s made our brand voice much more consistent in areas where I used to have zero visibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
Case study formatting doesn’t always carry over cleanly when it’s pulled into a proposal template, so I still have to go in and polish those sections myself. It would be great if it preserved the formatting a bit better in that workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before we started using this, sales reps would pull old case studies and outdated stats into proposals without checking with marketing first, and I’d only find out after a client pointed something out. Now all the approved content lives in a single library that stays current, so what goes out actually matches what we want said. It’s saved me a fair number of uncomfortable follow-up conversations.

Speeds Up Winning Management Proposals with Instant Historical Insights

What do you like best about the product?
When we pursue a new management contract, owners want to understand our insurance coverage, how quickly we respond to maintenance issues, and how we’ve performed on similar properties in the past. Steerlab pulls that information directly from our own historical records, instead of having someone dig through old proposal folders to find it. As a result, we can put together a solid response in a fraction of the time it used to take.
What do you dislike about the product?
A few of the smaller property owner portals still require manual uploads instead of direct integration. It’s not a major inconvenience overall, but it does add an extra step now and then.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to scramble every time a property went out to bid because our data was scattered across spreadsheets in different regional offices, and pulling together one clear answer always took longer than it should have. Now everything lives in one place, and every regional team is working from the same source, so our bids stay consistent no matter who’s putting them together.

Saves Us Hours by Reusing Past Answers for Enterprise Staffing Questionnaires
Reviewed on Jun 24, 2026

What do you like best about the product?
Enterprise clients evaluating staffing partners ask about our screening process, time-to-fill metrics, and compliance practices, and honestly the questions repeat a lot once you've done enough of these. Steerlab pulls our past answer instead of having someone rewrite the same explanation again. It has freed up real hours for our recruiting team, who would rather be sourcing candidates than filling our forms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our time-to-fill numbers change often, and I'd like an easier way to flag those specific answers so they get double checked before every submission instead of relying on someone remembering to update them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were turning down RFPs from companies we genuinely wanted to work with simply because nobody had time to complete the paper work properly. That always felt like a bad reason to lose business. Now we respond to almost everything that comes our way, our answers are more consistent across the board, and the recruiting team isn't pulled off their actual job to write proposals anymore.

Makes Travel & Event Requests Faster with Smart, Reusable Answers

What do you like best about the product?
I really like that Steerlab helps us with travel and event requests. We get asked about things like cancellation policies, group, rates, accessibility and safety protocols all the time. The thing is, these questions is really helpful because it remembers what we have already written and brings it up again instantly. This means my team does not have to spend a lot of time writing the things over and over again.
What do you dislike about the product?
Seasonal pricing changes mean some answer go stale faster than the system flags them. I'd like a way to mark certain content as time-sensitive so it gets reviewed more often automatically.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to have a problem with losing corporate accounts to other companies. This was because it took us long to respond to requests during our busy season. Every person on our team was really busy answering questions by hand. Now we can respond to requests faster. This means my team has time to actually talk to the people who're interested, in our services instead of just trying to keep up with all the work during our busiest months. Steerlab is really helping us with travel and event requests.

Steerlab Speeds Up Retailer Vendor Approvals by Reusing Past Submissions
Reviewed on Jun 23, 2026

What do you like best about the product?
Getting onto a major retailer’s vendor list usually means wading through long questionnaires about supply chain practices, packaging standards, and fulfillment capacity. With Steerlab, we’re not starting from scratch every time; it pulls from what we’ve already submitted to other retailers and carries that information forward. That has genuinely shortened the time it takes us to get approved as a new vendor.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the major retail vendor portals we use isn’t supported by the Chrome extension, so we have to copy those answers over manually. It’s a bit tedious, but it hasn’t stopped us from using the tool every day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to lose weeks just getting through vendor onboarding paperwork for new retail partners, and those delays sometimes made us miss the seasonal window we needed to hit. Now the process moves much faster because the answers are already there and ready to go when we need them. As a result, we’ve onboarded more retail partners this year than we did in the previous two years combined.

Cut Response Time and Eliminates Version Control Risk
Reviewed on Jun 22, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
School districts tend to ask very specific questions about accessibility, data privacy for student records, and how a tool will integrate with their existing systems. Steerlab helps by pulling those answers from our own past submissions instead of forcing us to guess or rewrite from scratch, which really matters when a district’s IT director is reading every line closely. Since we started using it, our response time on these bids has dropped noticeably.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some district procurement portals still use older PDF forms that don’t import cleanly, so we end up tidying them up manually. It’s not a big deal overall just a small extra step that comes up from time to time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to lose track of which version of our data privacy response was the most current, especially after policy updates, and that created a level of risk we didn’t like carrying. Now everything lives in one place, and updates flow through automatically, so nobody is working off an old draft anymore.

Steerlab Speeds Due Diligence with Trusted, Traceable Data
Reviewed on Jun 20, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Every new carrier partnership starts with a due diligence packet covering underwriting practices, claims history, financial stability the whole lot. Steerlab pulls those answers directly from our own verified records and shows exactly where each one came from. That level of traceability gives our legal team the confidence to sign off faster, instead of having to double-check everything from scratch.
What do you dislike about the product?
A couple of state-specific regulatory templates still aren’t quite ready, so the first time we run into one, we have to set it up ourselves. Once it’s configured, it stays in place, but it would be nice not to have to do that initial setup at all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before this, putting together due diligence packets meant pulling people from legal, underwriting, and compliance into a single document for days at a time. Now, most of it assembles itself from verified content, and our specialists only step in where it actually matters. We’re closing carrier partnerships faster, and nobody’s calendar gets wrecked in the process.

Steerlab Speeds Up Telecom Security Questionnaires with Accurate, Transparent Answers
Reviewed on Jun 20, 2026

What do you like best about the product?
Enterprise telecom contracts often include security and network reliability questionnaires that can run well past 300 questions. Steerlab pulls answers directly from our own documentation rather than producing something generic, and it’s transparent about when it isn’t sure. That level of accuracy matters when a client’s IT team is going to scrutinize every line. As a result, our team gets through these reviews in a fraction of the time it used to take.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting could go deeper. I’d like to see which answers get reused most often so I can better understand where our content gaps are. It’s not a dealbreaker just something on my wishlist.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Large security questionnaires used to mean pulling our network engineers off real work for days. Now, most of it gets handled without them, and they only step in for the questions that actually need their expertise. As a result, we close enterprise deals faster, and our technical staff isn’t buried in paperwork anymore.

Steerlab Streamlines Healthcare RFPs with Verified, Compliant Responses
Reviewed on Jun 17, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Our RFPs include detailed questions about clinical protocols, credentialing, and data security. Steerlab pulls responses directly from our verified documents instead of guessing, and that distinction matters a lot in healthcare. Our compliance and clinical teams can now review everything in one place, rather than getting stuck in endless email threads.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pre-built templates for HIPAA and security questionnaires feel a bit limited. The newer prayer formats also still require some manual setup the first time you use them. It’s a one-time cost, but a deeper, more complete template library would make the product more helpful overall.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to pull compliance, clinical, and IT security input into the same document at different times, always hoping nothing slipped through the cracks. Now everyone reviews the same version, and every answer can be traced back to its source. Our proposal timelines are shorter, and I feel confident in what we’re submitting.

Steerlab Makes Bid Paperwork Easy to Organize and Find in Seconds
Reviewed on Jun 17, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Construction bids come with a lot of paperwork technical specs, safety certifications, past project references, the works. What I like most is that Steerlab keeps all of that organized and easy to find. I used to spend my mornings digging through old project folders tryin to find the right safety record or certification number. Now I just search for it and it is there in seconds, pulled from documents we have already used before. The team picked it up fast too. Nobody needed a manual or a training class. We jsut started using it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of our bid papers come in a variety of formats, especially older scanned PDFs, mostly from government clients. Those still need some manual cleanup before they import correctly. It doesn’t happen often, but when it does, it slows me down. I’ve heard they’re working on better handling for scanned papers, so I’m hopeful this improves soon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our bid process lived across shared drives, email attachments, and one very tired spreadsheets that tracked deadlines. Things got missed. A bid would go out with an outdated safety certificate or someone would submit the wrong version of a document because three people had been editing it separately. That does not happen anymore. Everything lives in one place, the right version is always the version everyone sees, and we have actually increased the number of bids we submit each quarter because the process does not eat up nearly as much time. For a small team like ours, that extra capacity is huge.
