Robust Features Perfect for IT Asset Management
What do you like best about the product?
Its features are so robust and really a nice to have if you are maintaining an IT asset management

Sometimes generating reports will take a while
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Changes in assets information is quite a tedious task for an IT and having an agent installed in each computer helps us a lot to automatically reflect it in the system.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At the moment, AssetSonar is being discontinued due to the lack of flexibility and integrations with major systems.

Intuitive Interface and Effortless Daily Management
What do you like best about the product?
After spending a few months using AssetSonar, I can confidently say it’s one of the most well-rounded IT asset management platforms I’ve worked with. What stood out to me right away was how clean and intuitive the interface is. Setting it up took some effort — mainly when configuring integrations and custom fields — but once everything was in place, day-to-day use became extremely efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
e reporting tools are good, but some deeper customization options would be helpful. Being able to create fully tailored dashboards or add more granular filters would make data analysis faster.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an IT Systems Administrator, maintaining visibility and control over company assets has been one of my greatest challenges, particularly as our organization grew and various departments started managing equipment on their own. Prior to adopting AssetSonar, we depended largely on spreadsheets and manual tracking methods. This approach often resulted in duplicate records, lost devices, and incorrect license counts.
Seamless MDM Integration, Excellent Reporting
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the integrations with our MDMs, as other competitors are missing key integrations or are not as advanced as AssetSonar. The reporting is very good and better than other tools I've used. The initial setup was quite easy for us to manage, and the AssetSonar support team offered key insights and assistance with some integrations, which was very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think while the reporting is good, the usability and design could be improved. Charting and the dashboards are a bit clunky, there needs to be work done on the workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
AssetSonar allows me to have accurate tracking of IT assets, ensuring proper custody and automatic asset creation, especially with integrations like MDMs.
Effortless Asset Automation with Intune Integration
What do you like best about the product?
Easy use, easy to check out and help automate new assets being created via API connection with Intune. We use it on daily basis to ensure our our assets are checked out and it was fairly easy to impliment. There is also an option to install a package that we can push out if we weren't using intune, but overall we are good.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall Positive, I do wish intune intregration will pull in software assets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving compliance aspect and ensuring all our assets are tracked and recovered.
Seamless Integration and Daily Convenience with Zendesk
What do you like best about the product?
How convenient and easy to use it is. It ties into Zendesk seamlessly. Everything functions well right out of the box.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot think of a downside that would be holding anyone back. This is a great product and the usage cases occur daily.

Ensuring we have a handle on all our assets and recovering all our assets.

What do you like best about the product?
AssetSonar empowers IT professionals to streamline the management of physical and digital assets through its all-in-one platform. IT is a comprehensive and user-friendly application that enables IT professionals to efficiently manage both physical and digital assets. With its intuitive interface and easy learning curve, new users can get up to speed quickly. The platform is regularly updated to adapt to the evolving needs of asset management, ensuring it remains a reliable and forward-thinking solution in a dynamic IT environment. When initially onboarding the application the input of assets was a simple task as templates and instructions are provided that made the implementation easy. This was globally adopted for the management and dispensation of physical assets and inventory that was easily used by all staff within the organization. That daily use is a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
While there are occasional challenges with notifications, the excellent customer service more than makes up for it. Any issues that arise are quickly and efficiently resolved by the support team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
AssetSonar solves the problem of tracking stock, inputs, outputs and managing the request of inventory from end users. Additional it greatly helps in tracking the renewal of software licenses.
Solid and stable asset management tool
What do you like best about the product?
The stability of the product configuration. The product is easy to configure and does not require any configuration maintenance. The platform is configured once and from then on it is just operated.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some filters and field controls are excessive, and make the platform somewhat inflexible. Not having the ability to add unlimited custom fields to your modules limits the creativity and use of AssetSonar in different scenarios.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Proper IT asset management, including control of expenses, warranties and depreciation.
