What do you like best about the product?

I really appreciate the ease of installation, use, and customization that Polarion offers. It works as advertised and their customer support is excellent. I also value its capability to provide requirement traceability and versioning, as well as track the closure of all questions and comments during requirement review. Collaboration with other engineers on requirements and the change process is smooth, and the flexibility to maintain time-based requirements is very useful. The concise, centralized repository to define new product marketing and customer requirements with a rule-based workflow is a standout feature.

What do you dislike about the product?

The memory requirement is a thing you need to be prepared for. Also, training was cumbersome and took longer than was anticipated.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Polarion for requirement traceability, versioning, and tracking closure of questions. It helps collaboration with engineers and maintains flexible requirements per time, centralizing our product marketing and customer requirements with rule-based workflows.

What do you like best about the product?

I like Polarion for its usability and AI features, which are especially beneficial for us. The new features around compliance, specifically INCOSE compliance, really enhance our experience. The digital traceability and compliance readiness it offers help solve significant problems for us. Additionally, I find the initial setup of Polarion to be very easy, making the transition smooth and efficient.

The marketplace needs a revamp. It should provide easier access to vendor information for plugins.

Polarion solves digital traceability and compliance readiness, with usability and AI features enhancing my experience.

ease of use , availability of existing templates along with ability to integrate with Teamcenter and other internal systems

Polarion is expensive compared to other ALM systems.

Polarion is providing easy to use templates along with the ability to apply Industry standards. You can also capture QMS and trace them for verification.

Be able to capture requirements and tie them to designs and go through verifications

Different solution than Teamcenter Requirmrnt management

Requirements management module is really useful. It keeps the track of the requirements to the delivery and back tracking it

Cost might be a factor to consider for our industry.

This would be very beneficial for me to use since I'm in search of a product that can allow me to create an Intake idea from end users and walk it through prioritization to delivering the requirements to our development team and watch it go through the process and deliver to the end user. With reporting features afterwards, this would be an ideal tool to acquire.
