You Will Wanna Use Asana
What do you like best about the product?
This is one of my favourite programs to use at work. Firstly it makes organizing my schedule a breeze and I am able to track of what my deadlines are and I take great satisfaction in ticking off tasks that I have complete.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how it send me an email every time I create a task. I know I created so I don't need to be reminded. It ends up filling up my inbox unnecessarily . It make sense to let everyone know but I just personally don't like that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has definitely helped us to stay on tract. I am able to assign tasks to the videographer so he is able to get footage and photos on time. It has helped me be more prepared for meetings which in turn has helped me be more professional and ready for unexpected things. I am able to take notes during meetings which helps me to remember everything I need to get done that week.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is definitely worth using if you want to stay professional and get tasks done on time!
Asana is the app I use every day, all day.
What do you like best about the product?
Asana's app has completely changed how we get work done. The flexibility and power throughout the app allow us to cross-reference tasks across projects, track custom metadata, build reports via their powerful export and data sync functionality, and is lightweight enough to manage my day-to-day task list.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wielding the power of Asana as a new user can be overwhelming. It was sometimes difficult to understand when we should use tags versus metadata (Asana calls them Custom Fields), but I team stuck with it and figured out for ourselves what works best.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Asana to track, estimate, and keep records on sprint tasks. We moved from an archaic platform that didn't provide the functionality we needed. The old platform required us to perform a lot of manual work. Asana has converted the energy we wasted on manual task curation to focusing on the WORK rather than "the thing that tracks our work."
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Onboarding is the hardest part. Also be willing to experiment, but be thoughtful about the pros and cons of certain features. Some feature may not be for you, and it's okay to not utilize whatever you don't need.
Fast and getting better all the time
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is simple and flexible, with many ways to view tasks and progress, including on a calendar, board, list, or gantt-like timeline. It's very easy to quickly work through many tasks without leaving the keyboard. No doubt Asana will always be beautiful and and fast.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest challenge is finding a consistent workflow that your team can depend on over time.
The free feature set is nice enough, and it's great that they offer it for up to 15 users, but the for those small teams that need to plan even moderately complex projects, the leap to Premium or Business is substantial--$120/user/year is asking a lot for a single piece of software for a small team, especially billed annually.
Further, the product is evolving so much that features are often teased or released as free and then repackaged later as premium features.

We juggle many competing projects and deadlines, so it helps keep everything in one big picture, in a place we can talk about individual tasks as we go along. I prefer this workflow to Slack-like emphasis on chat/email, etc. Asana's prospects for time planning are getting better, but are a bit obfuscated right now.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Decide your workflow in advance and see if you can make Asana fit in a comfortable, natural way before deciding to switch.
Asana allows you to do numerous tasks from one place
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is an excellent way to see how powerful a tool is to keep track of personal tasks or those that require multiple people. You can create detailed tasks that you can assign to yourself and other members of your team to easily notify them. You can have different shortcuts for the different things that we have to do during a day at the office is really advantageous.
What do you dislike about the product?
We believe that it needs a little more development so that it can become an application with sufficient organizational capacity for large-scale projects. Assigning tasks is a bit slow. The team has more capabilities than our team uses, and I'd love them to do something like a monthly webinar about new features and "how to use the new features." What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana eliminates problems of communication, organization, assignment of bring, and reminds you about the most important tasks, only with a simple but powerful software where you have each tool at your fingertips
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is an excellent product, therefore, it is recommended, however, Asana has some frustrating limitations such as including people in certain parts of a task, making sure that people do not feel overwhelmed by the details of those who do not have to be part and attaching work files can be painful to the point that, if the basic guidelines are not met, your team may feel exhausted by the software and simply stop using it.
Very good for short and quick projects
What do you like best about the product?
Asana offers a good variety of project management features and also has a remarkable list of apps and integrations for additional functionality
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not recommended for large and complex capital projects as it lacks some features which are considered in other well known robust solutions

Asana has one of the best interfaces for Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
The listing of the tasks is laid out very nicely, and I love the ability to see additional notes for a chosen task in the same window. I use the comments section of each task to keep a log of any project updates, which comes in handy. I also like the ability to receive an email when a task is due.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one thing I don't like about it, is that there isn't a specified area created just for notes in each task. I use the comments section, but it would be nice if there was a designated area just for that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Asana for keeping track of all the projects we're working on in the Marketing team. Its also great, when it comes to sharing input on different projects, so we can keep referencing each team member's comments, when needed. Emails are great but can get scattered overtime, and can be a pain to sort. Here, all the feedback stays in one place, under each project.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're looking for a project management software that has an "easy to use" interface and has the ability to keep your team up to date on tasks, this is a great option to consider. The number 1 thing in project management software is making your life easier and this definitely does.
Asana - The Team Task Tracker!
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and help with staying focused on the task at hand. It is a critical piece of software for our organizations to organize a large team and ensure that everyone's jobs are being managed and completed. I love not having to micromanage my staff and nag them to stay on task with projects - this allows them to have some autonomy in their work and gives me piece of mind that the work is being done in a timely manner.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a strong program and there isn't really anything we dislike at this point.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I felt that I constantly had to nag my staff to feel confident that we were staying on task. Asana allows me to relax and KNOW that the job is getting done. Everyone is happier that we are scheduling fewer team meetings because we can see that tasks are being completed in real time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Headed in the right direction!
Awesome for managing a team of international freelancers
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of posting tasks and managing deadlines, and e-mail reply function for responding to posted tasks. Also the ability to check off tasks as completed.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far nothing has come up, the only minor thing I could mention would be the way some e-mail notifications only link you to view the task, not to access the actual dashboard, so you have to open a separate tab and log in separately. No big deal, just a minute or two wasted when the view task could link directly to the dashboard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to manage all tasks and deadlines centrally among multiple freelancers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Watch the tutorial videos available on YouTube to familiarize yourself with the dashboard.
Best Tracking Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is user-friendly with interactive graphics. The software is also very easy to navigate through. Secondly, as a manager one is able to monitor the schedule and progress of their employees, which generally helps in time management.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes one some time to learn every feature of the software. Secondly, a manager cannot be able to assign the same task to more than one person.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it is very essential in streamlining various business processes and organizing team members to be efficient and manage their time efficiently. There are a few people who are allowed to create tasks. This means that the software will not suit larger organisations with very many supervisors.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is an effective tool for project management, makes jobs easier for both the managers and their employees.
