Best Project Management Tool

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Simplicity, collaboration, task list, chronology. Everything is made to organize your work easily and quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing at this time. Maybe in few months! :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Everyone had GoogleSheets everywhere, with roadmaps etc. We centralized everything and that's much more productive!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go for Trial first, try it and pay it!

Best Project Management Tool on the Market

  • August 19, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The training and education modules. Not to mention the flexibility to use in any industry. The robust forum and support from the community are refreshing and there's generally a response within a day from either Asana or a representative. The growing market of users helps to implement new features almost every month it feels like. And, they're user-driven features not what the company thinks is best.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to dislike. The only thing would be wanting some more integrations to consider. The one thing that would be a great addition is time-tracking and project forecasting for project managers to utilize. They do have workflows and timelines but still in its infancy stage. I may also be asking a little too much from an already robust system that has so much flexibility to use. The one thing to consider is due to the flexibility, don't let it get off the rails internally and stick to a standard operating procedure or make sure your team goes through even the basic training.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
EVERYTHING! Asana is so flexible to work with any industry. From task delegation to customer followups, even form integration to auto-create tasks. Tough to beat when compared to any other platform.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Looking for a flexible alternative to your everyday task delegation but stuck trying to choose from the sea of alternatives? Asana is where it is primarily due to the strong support and training structure.

If you have many projects it's not that easy to find the right one you need. The color of the project helps a bit but for me it's quiet confusing.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to integrate to do lists across my computer and phone.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish some of the paid functionalities were available for free, like setting creation dates for tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There isn’t a computer app. I have to use a 3rd party app to make one.

Functional but lacking project management tool

  • August 17, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana allows me to manage many projects at once and to see upcoming tasks for a wide variety of projects. It has a well-designed interface. Its email notifications are sent out daily with updates on the tasks I need to complete. Completing tasks is simple, and I love the celebrations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some aspects of the site are confusing. I have difficulty navigating it to find things like tasks that have already been completed and projects that other team members are working on. The site is not as intuitive as I'd like. It has too many features, like it seems to have the option to complete tasks for other people. Waiting on other people to complete tasks is also confusing, and I'd appreciate a simpler design for this feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes it simple to keep track of a wide range of projects, which is useful in today's digital workplace. Sharing projects is also easier, as my team has a pipeline and we each have tasks to complete relating to a project.

Simple platform, easy layout

  • August 17, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana has SO many great options for tracking tasks, managing timelines, and group projects. I really like how many options there are to match what I need to manage a project.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’ve found that some settings and customizations don’t stick from each login. If I sort Asana to only show uncompleted tasks, the setting usually won’t be there when I log back on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is helping us efficiently track progress for projects with both onsite and remote employees.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Asana is a great software to use whether you’re looking to manage small routine tasks or large group projects.
