What do you like best about the product?
I love how there are so many functionalities to help you keep organized and manage your products. I love how you can collaborate across different teams so seamlessly
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a little expensive for the premium package.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using Asana to help me better manage my projects and keep track of task and deadlines

What do you like best about the product?
Asana provides a clean but powerful interface for tracking projects and to do list items.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have little or nothing to dislike about the software. It's very well designed

I have implemented Asana to ensure timely completion of important work related tasks.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need a feature-packed interface alongside simple usability, Asana is the option for you.

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to view multiple tasks at once.

Doesn’t serve me well with my to do list, but that’s a me problem.

I manage designers and I’m able to assign out their projects with greater easy

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that tasks can be assigned remotely and all relevant information about the task can be provided in one place. I also appreciate that multiple Asana users can add to a "comment chain" within a task, allowing progress on the task to be updated by multiple people. Assignment of the task can also be transferred and new workers can be added to the task. It is useful when being introduced into a new job to see the timeline of a task, who has been involved so far, and what materials may be useful in consulting.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that Asana really depends on the users to actually assign the tasks and on the recipient to check what they have been assigned and when it is due. The email updates are helpful, but sometimes feel cluttered with information about the task, such as the chain. People tend to be very brief in their notes, but this may not be the tools fault.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the need for constant in-person check-ins or emailing about tasks, since they can just be assigned to anyone in the office through Asana, with all relevant info like timeline or linked materials included. It's far more reliable than handwriting my tasks or relying on multiple emails about a specific task.

I like the color coding and tags. i like the app.

I purchased asana as a spreadsheet replacement and it's not working out. Making things more complex

It is ok at a lot of things but doesn't excel at one thing particularly

You have to go with the most expensive plan to get access to a well-rounded project management tool

What do you like best about the product?
Asana allows teams to share status, make quick notes, share files. I like to open tasks by sending an e-mail in. The UI is easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The e-mail feature appears to only create new tasks--I can't figure out a way to e-mail updates in, or add attachments via e-mail.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Asana, we didn't have a way to keep tabs on where projects were. Now, with Asana, we can see where we're tracking.

Clean and intuitive interface

What do you like best about the product?
I like the simplicity that is available with Asana. I can switch between tasks and boards with ease, and collaboration with others is very easy to identify. The new features that Asana keeps adding are well thought out (such as the task schedule view) and basic portfolio functionality proves that this is a living product.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think its main competitor, Trello, has far more features such as power ups and more collaboration features than Asana, making it useful for slightly more complex scenarios. I think Asana excels at thoughtful feature implementation, but not necessary in the variety of features offered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm organizing my work, I can set due dates and prioritize tasks. In addition, I can create boards and drag/drop between different statuses as well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a free management option, Asana is a great choice. Your business can grow within Asana if you are an SMB. The barriers to entry are low enough to enter without sacrificing quality.

Great Task Management Tool for Teams

What do you like best about the product?
We used Asana as a complete project management tool. I liked how easy it was to navigate, the ability to leave comments, email notifications, and the sense of satisfaction you get from completing tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it became confusing when projects were archived or completed. The search function would sometimes yield too much information, muddying the results.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana made tracking customer hand-offs from sales to account management incredibly easy. There was a checklist that was created and templated so that for each new deal the sales rep had to complete every step for the account managers before completing the task. This ensured Account Managers got all necessary information.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely worth checking out this tool. I would recommend starting with the free trial and figuring out what makes sense to manage in asana versus other systems.

Necessary task and project management

What do you like best about the product?
I was able to upload a csv with all my tasks including dates. I really love the calendar view. It gives me a monthly snapshot of upcoming tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
The updated grid form. I believe this is a very recent update.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management. Keeping my timeline for client work.
