Asana Keeps Tasks Organized and Teams Aligned
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is an excellent tool for keeping tasks, timelines, and ownership details organized in one place. I love how it offers multiple views board, list, and timeline so you can tailor your workflow depending on the needs of the team. It helps keep everyone aligned on what needs to be done and by whom, minimizing confusion and streamlining task execution.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Asana is great overall, I think there’s room for improvement in the reporting feature. For users on the basic plans, reporting is somewhat limited, and for more advanced insights, you'd need to upgrade to a higher-tier plan. Additionally, the automation capabilities, though helpful, aren’t as robust compared to some other tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana has eliminated the need to track tasks across multiple platforms like emails, spreadsheets, or chats. Everything is centralized in one place, and I can easily track progress, deadlines, and ownership in a seamless workflow. This has significantly improved coordination among team members and reduced the chances of tasks slipping through the cracks
Streamlined and Fun Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
I like how integrated and interconnected everything in Asana is. It's much more than just having things in buckets and containers for tasks. I find it much more streamlined and efficient, and it's fun to use. The initial setup was pretty easy, which was a plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike anything so far. I wish it had a D.A.M. plugin or integration. It might actually...I just haven't explored. My team uses AIR inc for Digital Asset Management and we love it. I wish the two programs could work together seamlessly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana solves transparency amongst my team and the breakdown of project processes.
Well-Organized Project & Time Management Tool.
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is well organized for task, project, and time management, with flexible views on lists, boards, calendars, and timelines. It is well organized, defining ownership, dependencies, milestones, and progress. It allows for real-time collaboration through comments, attachments, and notifications.
What do you dislike about the product?
The free plan is limited in terms of advanced reports, workloads, and automation. Also, workspaces can get messy as projects grow without good naming conventions, tags, and governance, requiring disciplined setup and maintenance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool helps me replace ad hoc tracking via email, spreadsheets, or chat conversations. This helps me have better visibility on tasks, avoid missing deadlines, strengthen ownership, and ensure everyone is working on the same page by having all information, files, and conversations in one place.
Flexibility and Powerful Features Enhance Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that Asana lets us view projects in different ways, like using a kanban board for new marketing requests, a Gantt chart for campaign timelines, and a calendar for email and social media schedules. The ability to multi-home tasks in multiple projects without copying them is a game-changer for keeping everyone updated through a single task entry. Asana's forms, automations, and rules simplify receiving requests, creating workflows, and managing tasks strategically. The flexibility that Asana offers by allowing each person to customize their work view is really valuable. Using the Asana plug-in for Outlook and Teams also helps me create tasks directly from emails or messages, which is convenient.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love the ability to add a prefix to all tasks within a project. I would love to be able to assign roles organization-wide rather than just per project. I often convert tasks into projects using project templates, and I would like to utilize automations/rules to auto-assign tasks and subtasks based on roles, which I cannot do organization-wide. Same with adding prefixes, currently, I have to copy/paste the project name into each task after it is created, which is time-consuming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to track marketing projects, facilitate communication with teams, and monitor progress effectively.

Perfect Integration and Efficient Task Management with Asana
What do you like best about the product?
I like using Asana because it makes it easier to manage tasks and add collaborators. It facilitates task management in a more organized way and allows me to create sub-tasks, which help my manager understand the complexity of some tasks. I appreciate the fact that Asana also integrates with email, making it easier to create tasks without having to copy and paste. Furthermore, the integration with artificial intelligence, like the cloud, helps a lot. I appreciate the ability to create projects and share them with other teams. It helps me reduce the time spent creating tasks thanks to the integration with Outlook, allowing me to create tasks directly on Asana. The integration with artificial intelligence also makes it easier for me to summarize directly what I've done on Asana without having to worry too much about what to put in the description or comment. I find that the initial setup of Asana was quite fast and without issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the moment, I find it more useful to use the web version of ASANA, because the app often crashes and I am forced to close it. Furthermore, I find it limiting that I cannot add filters beyond those already present by default. For example, I cannot filter tasks based on collaborators.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to manage tasks in a more organized way, creating subtasks to help my manager understand the complexity. The integration with email and artificial intelligence reduces the time for task creation and improves organization.
