Effortless Integration and Intuitive Features Make Work so much easier.
What do you like best about the product?
Love how easy it is to use, how it integrates with many of the tools we have and I can usually figure things out pretty quickly. I appreciate the addition of new features and templates that make our lives easier as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that within a project there are only sections and then tasks and subtasks. I wish there was a way to organize things so that I can have multiple projects within a project template. If I have a section, then a task, then I have to do subtasks, I'd like there to be an option where I can have many sections within one section or many projects in one project if that makes sense.

Helping us stay on trop of projects and tasks on a daily basis.
User-Friendly with Efficient Task Sharing
What do you like best about the product?
I find Asana incredibly valuable for managing product teams, planning, and handling daily tasks due to its user-friendly interface, which is a significant improvement over my team's previous experience with Jira. The standout feature for me is the task sharing capability across multiple projects, allowing me to share specific tasks without the need to involve all team members in my project, thus maintaining privacy and focus within different teams. This feature, along with its intuitive usability, significantly enhances our workflow and collaboration without unnecessary complexity. Setting up Asana was also a breeze, making the transition from Jira seamless and ensuring my team could get started with minimal disruption.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how admin permission works. For example, if I want to fix or add something in a different project, I can't because I need to be added to that project, which is really annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Asana's task sharing across multiple projects beneficial as it streamlines collaboration without adding more team members, enhancing project planning and daily task management.

This feature significantly enhances my ability to manage tasks efficiently across multiple platforms. The feature makes managing complex projects more streamlined and collaborative by integrating essential tools directly into Asana. Additionally, the initial setup of Asana was super easy, which allowed me to start organizing my projects and tasks without any delay or difficulty.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I click into a subtask, there is no back button to go back to all the subtasks.

Asana is incredibly easy to use and quick to implement, with a rich set of features that fit smoothly into our workflows. The integrations are seamless, customer support is reliable, and it’s a tool we find ourselves using every day.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s very little to dislike about Asana — a few features take some exploring and integrations could be even smoother, but the platform’s strong support, frequent use, and overall ease of implementation make it an excellent tool.

Asana solves my biggest challenge of staying organized across multiple projects. It gives me a clear view of priorities, helps me track progress, and keeps my team aligned. This has made my work faster, more efficient, and far less stressful.
Essential for Remote Team Collaboration, but Requires Extensive Onboarding
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how Asana helps keep our team connected, even though we all work remotely for a significant portion of the week. It enables us to communicate in real time as we progress through different projects, making it invaluable for our creative collaboration across all departments in a small nonprofit. I love that Asana makes it very easy for our team to stay focused and connected on complex and lengthy tasks. It's a great platform for direct communication and allows us to champion each other's work as we go through projects together.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the onboarding process for Asana quite challenging, as it takes a significant amount of time and effort to train the entire team, especially given their varying skill sets. It required dedicated team members to focus on this as part of their job for several weeks. While Asana is a robust platform, this complexity in initial training could be a potential concern for new users or teams considering adopting it.

I use Asana to keep my remote team connected, enabling real-time communication and collaboration on complex tasks across departments at our nonprofit.

I greatly appreciate Asana for its simple and intuitive interface, which makes managing daily tasks straightforward and ensures I don't forget anything important. The ease with which I can handle my workload daily is truly valuable. Additionally, the visual overview of projects is incredibly beneficial. It allows me to move priorities of tasks and projects effortlessly, helping me see what's most critical at a glance. This functionality makes it feel much like a virtual whiteboard, enhancing my ability to organize and prioritize effectively. Streamlined Task Management with Continuous Improvements
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Asana allows me to keep it simple and use it in the way that I intend to, making my experience straightforward and tailored to my methods. I appreciate the ongoing addition of new features, which reflects continuous innovation. Even though not all new features complement my usage, the effort to innovate reassures me about working with Asana and gives hope for future improvements to enhance our efficiency. I value the ability to create projects and have them neatly organized in the left-hand side panel, making navigation between different views quick and efficient, while allowing customization for my needs. Creating tasks within projects and assigning them to myself organizes everything in one list, further enhanced by creating sections to prioritize effectively. Having intuitive tools is crucial, and Asana meets this by making the initial setup very intuitive, which helps me get started without encountering challenges.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the constant changing of layouts in Asana just for the sake of giving it a fresh look. This change affects productivity negatively. I prefer a stable interface with one continuous panel that allows scrolling, making it easier to find everything with collapsible sections. Additionally, the new panel system has gotten thicker, which I don't appreciate. Another issue is the rearrangement of task order when dates are changed; I prefer them to maintain the same order. Finally, the automation rules in Asana are not automatically included in the service, and they're not user-friendly, which is quite inconvenient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to organize work and track tasks, creating lists and delegating tasks with due dates. It helps keep everything on track without relying on memory, enabling efficient project planning and management.
Streamlined Project Management, Needs More Automation
What do you like best about the product?
I love Asana's feature that allows me to tag someone directly within a task and have a discussion right there. This capability enhances organization and communication, ensuring that discussions are contextually linked to the respective tasks. It streamlines workflow by containing all relevant dialogue and updates in one place, reducing the need to switch between different communication tools and making it easier to track the progress of tasks within the project framework.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find Asana lacking in automation features. Specifically, it would be helpful if Asana could automatically adjust task dates when setting up annual projects. This would streamline the process and save time when preparing for the following year by automatically resetting project timelines based on a new event date.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to keep our team organized and ensure tasks are completed on time. I love tagging colleagues for discussions within tasks, enhancing communication and collaboration.
Streamlined Campaign Management with Asana's Intuitive Dashboard
What do you like best about the product?
I absolutely love the timeline feature in Asana; it stands out as my favourite aspect, providing a clear and organized view of our projects, which makes tracking progress very straightforward. The dashboard is another element I really appreciate; its layout is comfortable, user-friendly, and greatly aids in managing our tasks. It's particularly effective because it allows me to see who is responsible for each task, making accountability effortless, and offers a delightful experience when marking tasks as complete with the fun feature of a unicorn animation. I've been using Asana for about five years now, and it has consistently been a great tool that supports our project and campaign management efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have a few areas where I feel Asana could improve. First, since 2021, I haven't noticed much development in the dashboard's appearance. I'd prefer it to be a bit more engaging and fun, which is a personal preference. Additionally, the continuous flow of emails can be overwhelming. Another significant drawback is the lack of clarity regarding which campaign each task is associated with. On the task board, although I can see tasks due today, it's unclear which campaign they belong to. I would appreciate more clarity in this aspect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Asana enhances campaign management, enabling up-to-date tracking and accountability across our teams. It simplifies time management with an intuitive dashboard and timeline, facilitating easier task oversight.
