Value for money

What do you like best about the product?
The free version is great. My team and I had been using the free version for a quite few months and it worked great to fit our needs then. But as the project complexities grew we needed to the timeline feature to create Gantt charts. That's when we decided to switch to the paid version of Asana.
I like the intuitive user interface the most and the ability to create subtasks within tasks. I also like that it's easy to add and remove teammates, easy to assign tasks and receiving email notifications for upcoming tasks due is great too.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far. We haven't really explored the timeline feature yet, so can't say about the experience but it'd be good to see a tutorial or guidance in the app itself on making the most out of Asana timeline.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing and tracking team projects, assignments and roles and responsibilities.

Develop your activities and projects in a practical way

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is a very good platform in which I can upload activities and projects to share with my team, its interface in general is good and it has all the tools in sight, I can have a calendar where I have all my tasks and I can also assign tasks and track them.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has a free version, however, it is very limited in terms of options and features, as its interface is lacking in personalization and finally I would like to be able to edit the images that I add to the cards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In the development department, the use of Asana is very important, since with it we can focus on the tasks that are really important, as well as allowing me to direct my team so that they finish their work on time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend Asana for any type of business or company since it has everything necessary to work more productively.

Asana is one of the best apps I've used for team task management and collaboration

  • March 21, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The best part is that it's easy to use. There is virtually no learning curve and I've been able to train my team to use it and I love that it sends notifications via email when something has happened. This and google calendar are my life. There is also the ability to sync with my google calendar so I can see what I need to do when I check my calendar. I just upgraded to the premium plan and I am able to now set start dates as well as dependant tasks. This is the best part about upgrading.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it would be great if we could have the ability to switch between board view or list view in projects. That's it, other than that I love everything about it! Maybe also having a cheaper plan for just single users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am now able to keep track of my projects and assign tasks to my team. I don't have to dig through emails to see what's been done or hasn't. My team can also see what's going on. It's been a lifesaver to be able to keep track of everything.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely use Asana! It's changed the way I run my business. It's easy to search through

Great tool for managing multiple projects

  • March 20, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really liked the simple and intuitive user interface of Asana that allowed me to manage multiple projects at the same time with multiple teams. I was able to check progress, get comments and feedback in real time from my teammates. Also it was very easy to attach files for collaboration and joint working. Availability of apps on both android and iOS has been really helpful to be updated on your projects while on the go.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I disliked compared to other tools available is the price of the premium version. The price can be lowered slightly to be more competitive
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was working on multiple proposals with multiple teams, and with all proposals having different project plans, requirements and eligibility criteria. We were managing earlier through email, file explorer and whatsapp. We soon realized that it is not going to work, and then tried Asana to initiate projects, capture documents, work jointly and most importantly track progress of each project through dashboards
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Please give it a try using the trial version. If it is useful and worth taking the premium services for your specific requirements, then go for premium

I LOVE ASANA

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the way it looks, and it's very user-friendly. I want to be the kind of person that uses a paper planner, but I'm just not, so this gives me a place to write things down and track my progress! Plus, there are unicorns. That's always good.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that my whole team doesn't use it! We would be so much more efficient if we could communicate all workload through Asana.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps me to focus on what I am working on and remember what else needs to be done later on, so I don't have to jump between tasks when someone asks me to do something else.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Asana is an incredible digital to-do list! I leave a tab for it open on my computer all day, and the mobile application is useful as well.

Glowing Review

  • March 15, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I re-customized my teams projects a few times - it's grown with me as I sophisticate my business, which is AWESOME. I adore how they keep updating features and sending those pings about them!
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not really a dislike, but I haven't figured out how to use all the good features yet. It has a lot of functionality I haven't unlocked.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm one of those visionary communicator types, so project management was NOT my strong suit. :) I was always dropping balls and feeling psychologically overwhelmed trying to keep my clients and work straight. Now not only do I not drop balls, my clients see the work too cause I invite them to projects! (YES).

Asana is undoubtedly an excellent tool for managing projects.

  • March 14, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is an excellent platform for managing business processes. In this sense, it allows us to capture each process, map it, and review its life cycle completely. We like your project cost tracking, its usability and to be aware of everything that happens, we create spaces in which we can only interactor ourselves or add more people.
What do you dislike about the product?
We do not like that its system of creation of reports and analysis is nonexistent, because it is quite necessary to lead a better group organization. His list of tasks is not very expandable, and his application of agile methodologies for project management ends up being quite clumsy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana has helped us not only to organize our projects and our work team, but now our work is much more automated. Your customizable Dashboard helps make it easier to work, because the options can be more at hand if we want.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Asana is recommended mainly for its ease of use and for its integration into third-party software (elementary to be able to export or share our projects to other platforms). It is very good to carry access controls, and to handle recurring tasks. Totally recommended.

Very easy to keep track of tasks

  • March 12, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
You can add your projects and tasks to each project. You can assign a task and write comments to one another for updates or clarifications. I also like the calendar and how you can assign dates to each task and it shows up on the calendar. I like the different columns, in progress, to-do and done. It can show the team the amount of tasks that are needed to complete a project and what was done to accomplish it successfully.
What do you dislike about the product?
Adding a member was hard to find. Also my coworker has the same email as me so I had to add her personal email to get her an account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving multi-tasking and balancing multiple projects. We have realized that we can outline the steps each project needs and assess who can work on what. It ensures team members are accountable for their work. I have realized the benefit of team work, different team members working together and understanding their skills to ensure tasks get done.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
My recommendations to considering Asana would be to organize all your projects first so you can see how many different things you are working on at once and how easy it is to lose track of it all if not properly organized.
