A Great Project Management Software!
What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy using Asana. It solved a huge issue for my team in keeping track of upcoming projects and their deadlines!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it was easier to trash/archive the projects. You have to go to the project on the side bar to do so, instead of being able to do it right from the home screen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solved a huge issue for my team in keeping track of upcoming projects and their deadlines! It is much more organized than going back and forth via email, which can get lost and therefore miss deadlines.

What do you like best about the product?
We have integrated Asana across our entire company at this point and it is so helpful to get everyone on task and not overwhelm each other.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface is great but the way the "My Tasks" list is laid out bothers me a bit personally. I wish subtasks were indented so I could see easily how many projects are going on. "My Tasks" fills with subtasks quickly with many projects going on at once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our different departments were not communicating effectively. Now we can easily see what people are up to and assign projects based on workload now too.
Asana is the best project management tool in the market!
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is my very first experience with a project management tool and I must say I am not disappointed. I love these features:
- task management by assigning tasks and due dates
- accountability as people are notified when there are changes to the task
- organization as each project can be made into a Kanban to track the progress

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing at all! Asana is great. It could have more colorful and playful backgrounds to break the work mode, but other than that it is fine.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving task management. I honestly do not know how we will survive without it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Asana is a very good tool. It is probably not for software development though as there are more complex tools on the market.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana offers an easy way to schedule items for upcoming events on the calendar. It is extremely easy to have 10+ people in different locations be able to schedule events/time off without being in the same area. It's increased our schedules and availability.
What do you dislike about the product?
Becoming an additional user was hard to transition into, for some reason I continued to have issues logging in as my own user vs sharing other co-workers login information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to know others schedules and be able to coordinate time off and a time off schedule for our region.
Keeps everyone on track and up to date
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite feature is the conversation log. I love being able to talk to the processors and underwriters without having to send emails. Its a great way to always know whats going on with a file without having to bug people for news. I can also see on the calendar when the next time someone is going to pick up the file and work on it.
What do you dislike about the product?
For some reason you can't just write something in the header of the conversation log and you have to write something in the body as well. I think you could before and I'm not sure why this changed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are keeping our clients updated more than ever with Asana. Now if they call in and ask a question, we have a central area to check so we can answer questions and give appropriate updates.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I work for a mortgage company and we use it to manage the pipeline. Loan officers can write notes on their conversations and expectations given to clients so that everyone stays on the same page no matter who the client calls. The processors use it to make sure they are touching all their files every couple of days.
LOVE Asana ... a mandatory tool for my work
What do you like best about the product?
Task management, team collaboration, manage multiple projects AND clients, ability to tag and categorize to stay organized, manage others tasks and see if they need assistance, keep on track with outstanding items, reference past projects as needed, link files and documents as needed for easy access ... the list could go on as I LOVE Asana. Plus it works amazing and it so user friendly on my iPhone too!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could collapse all items under a Section (this would visually help me navigate through projects as sometimes I have tons of items under each Section).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Task management, project management and team management. Helps us stay on track and never miss a beat or item!

Just get on it ... Asana is AMAZING and I could not imagine life without it! Thank you Justin!!!! ;)
A powerful project manager on multiple levels
What do you like best about the product?
I like how you can quickly navigate between views in Asana and how you can set up projects easily. I also love how many features are available in just the free version.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that the free version doesn't allow you to set a start and end date for projects. I've also used ClickUp and that allows these features in their free version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
How to keep internal projects moving - seeing the calendar layout really helps to see what's on tap for that day or week.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Keep in mind that Asana now offers a KanBan feature, so you get a simple "bird's eye view" of work projects.
Efficient and user friendly
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it helps me prioritize my tasks and is easy to see the lists in a checklist format. It is great that I can interact on there and especially assign tasks to certain people with due dates.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes messages and assignments can get lost in a sub task if you don't know how to navigate it properly.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure everyone is trained properly on the use of the software. I think its fantastic for personal growth and organization as well as team building because it really allows for accountability within a department.

What do you like best about the product?
As someone who absolutely loves being organized and making lists, this program is absolutely perfect for me. It helps me to stay on top of all my tasks, as well as the tasks that others are asking me to do.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe I simply have not found this yet, but I wish there was a way to find all of the completed tasks. It would be really helpful to be able to see what I have already completed. Maybe there is a way to do this, but I simply have not found it yet
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
If I do not write something down, I will not remember to do it. Asana has helped me to keep a record of everything that I need to do. I also really enjoy the ability to check things off my list, because then I feel accomplished and am able to be more productive through the day.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is super easy to use and is really helpful to get things done. Just make sure that you are making use of all of the features that is offered! There is so much that can be ignored, because it is not a necessity, but it will make life so much easier.
A great tool for those that like to work from lists
What do you like best about the product?
List items can have their own sublists that are easy to see, a history keeps track of how many tasks have been completed on a graph, can create new tasks via email, and can duplicate tasks or create follow-up tasks. Can create sections so tasks with deadlines can appear in own section near top whereas "Someday" tasks could go into their own section closer to the bottom. I used Asana with a team to start but then continued to use it for my own personal todo list for many years.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cannot easily view nested lists within nested lists (so can only see so much at a time... no way to really expand or collapse to choose exactly how much level of detail you want to see all in one place). And there's not a ton of freedom, versus something like OneNote where you could design a page for all your weekly tasks and then use it as a template from week to week.

Great way to stay organized and stay on top of tasks.
