What do you like best about the product?
Asana is a great online platform that I can use on all devices. It is great for project management and tasks. It's great for projects as the calendar can be viewed on the go in the app or in my Outlook calendar. Everyone can enter a task as a personal task or public task. It's a good way to make sure it's not going to be a system of chaos. We can also share everything with clients in an easy way.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search function is not perfect. You can find most stuff, but it can also leave out some things every now and then. It can also be hard to find your way through different projects in overview. Everyone seem to have the option to delete and update tasks. It would be beneficial to be able to limit these kind of things. And in general it would be nice to be able to do some more customization - both for tasks and in specific projects
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a great tool for task management and project management. There are certain things that you just gotta remember and things that repetitive . Asana do it all. I do updates or what ever it takes. It's easy to get around and I even created an account to use privately as it is a good way to organize my life in general.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There's a great free version. Think about if it's enough or if you need to upgrade. Also encourage user to use the product for other things than Project Management tasks. It's a good way to get control of your workload,.

What do you like best about the product?
I am a managing director for a marketing company and I love the ability to assign tasks and deadlines to my team members. I can easily track progress and we can communicate about certain projects without getting lost in the email shuffle.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found the project management tools (calendar, time based tasks) to be as useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of multiple projects with dozens of simultaneous tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
Using Asana helped get our projects done way faster, real live updates for the whole team plus mobile app to help you with work from anywhere you go. Easy to use, self-explanatory and always working with no problems.
What do you dislike about the product?
Haven't experienced any trouble with it yet!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps keep all tasks and bugs in one app then separate them for teams and update them in real time so everybody would be on the same page with the process and progress of the project. Also perfect for working on a few different projects at the same time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely useful and free for any of your project needs for testing and development, easy access everywhere you go.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy task creation and assignment, I like the way how I can set due dates and prioritize my tasks, easy to assign them to your immediate boss for approval. I like every other thing in asana, its best for small organizations and it is cost friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is sometimes difficult to understand its features for new bees without training otherwise its the best.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy assigning of tasks and get things done.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
yes

Great, User-Friendly Project Management Softward

  • April 26, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The organizational structure is extremely intuitive. The ability to create projects, tasks, and subtasks, allow for followers, and share comments makes it easy to keep track of what you and your team are working on.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that I can't be done with my task under someone else's project, without it completely the entire thing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team is completely remote and uses Asana to communicate the stages of our projects. We can assign out tasks when help is needed, or keep track of personal items we need to complete. Tasks are connected to a shared calendar which also shows who is working on what and when it's due.

Very aesthetic and helpful

What do you like best about the product?
I like that whenever you complete a task, a narwhal shoots across the screen. It's also very helpful that people can comment on tasks as you go along.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that I cannot share a task with someone - I can only make a copy of it for them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Definitely meeting task deadlines and staying organized. It's much easier to follow the checklist on Asana than it is to create my own.

Easy to use and a good project management tool

  • April 25, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's fun and simple to manage task lists and communicate with the broader team. The ability to import CSV task lists is helpful as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Subtasks are confusing and redundant. They also don't behave as expected. We are better with just creating a new task even if it is a "sub task"
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
project management and team communication. We've realized managing timelines can be simple to keep everyone on track.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a try, you won't be disappointed

Project management tool

  • April 25, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to collaborate with many other colleagues both in our organization and outside. Easy to keep track of projects that require many hands to be completed successfully.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the tools are not available without purchasing a more costly membership level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to organize graphic and interpretation projects across the organization. Many departments can communicate with each other and with the designers about current and future projects. Senior staff members can also see the projects submitted and the progress made as well as make comments along the way.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Easy to learn the basics and then build your project management skills from there.

Very useful for collaborative tasks

  • April 24, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The good pricing model for commercial use. - Available in web and mobile App versions - Create and assign a task to multiple users is easy - recently added task portfolio option, which helps managers to track progress in real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the thing I would want to change is that Asana is somewhat hard to pick up. The tutorials on the website are not super useful for learning all of the features available (which can be somewhat overwhelming) and could definitely be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helped me keep all my projects organized and cohesive. There are so many things I liked about Asana: multiple to-do lists with different teams, assigning tasks, sub-tasks, different project views for those with different learning styles, due dates, and more.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Asana is a great tool for teams who are already using other software where Asana is not needed. I like how they have templates for different industries, this made it very easy to start using the software.
