Asana Keeps Our Marketing Projects Aligned with Easy Collaboration and Integrations
What do you like best about the product?
For a small marketing team like the one I'm on, Asana helps us keep track of all the projects we all have to manage together. The Collaborative abilities to comment, directly, edit, share, and update tasks is hugely beneficial for keeping everyone align. It integrates with other tools like Slack, HubSpot, and our file share, and it's relatively easy to learn and use. I like the help available if you need something you can't initially find.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that it were more flexible and configurable to highly specific work that our niche industry calls for. I don't have as much power to segment things at a granular level, and we sometimes run into permission issues that don't 100% make sense for how we do work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralizing where and how we do work, and keeping people updated on where others are in their workflows and processes.
Essential for Seamless Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
I find Asana really simple and user-friendly. I appreciate being able to create projects and assign tasks easily, along with managing statuses because everything is visible at first glance and organized well. The initial setup was crystal clear for me, and it helps me manage projects, assign tasks, schedule tasks, and keep track of everything efficiently. It's essential for my work, especially for serving as a knowledge hub for project info and seeing the progress of projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see a place where all the tasks that I engaged with are. Currently, I am using with my team a separate board for that, but I think it would be also useful to be ready to use for all users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps with scheduling tasks, managing files, staying updated with daily tasks, tracking project progress, and serving as a knowledge hub for project info.
Wouldn't recommend. Use Monday
What do you like best about the product?
Nothing so far. Our salesperson was friendly and engaged, but that’s really all I can say at this point.
What do you dislike about the product?
For a large US-based organization, this feels strange to me from a management and support standpoint. There are no US-based support hours (and I’m US-based). You also can’t schedule support, so you’re left hoping they respond at a time when you aren’t asleep.
The SCIM setup was atrocious and took over a month to remedy. Now that we can provision users with the correct license, they’re unable to get in at all. I’ve contacted support and my new account manager twice at this point and have received zero replies.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can’t even get users logged in properly, so I can’t use it effectively for work.
Streamlines Real-Time Task Assignment with Ease
What do you like best about the product?
Streamlining tasks and assigning them in real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish you could run tabs in the same window to assign tasks and see goals simultaneously.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana allows my team to work remotely and still feel on the same page. Goal check ins are simplified with this program as well.
Impressive AI-Powered Updates & Training Offerings
What do you like best about the product?
I’m impressed by how much it has changed to incorporate AI since I last used it about a year ago. There are many new features that help improve efficiency, and overall it feels more capable and easier to use than before. I am also impressed with their training offerings while evaluating the product.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’m currently evaluating it with a new organization and haven’t started actively using it yet. Because of that, I don’t have any constructive feedback to share at this stage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management, ongoing processes, HR Portfolio management.
Powerful Features, Overwhelming at First
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Asana is an incredibly powerful tool with a wide range of features. I find the dashboards and reporting features helpful as they offer visibility and insights into the projects. Starting a project is fairly easy with Asana. In addition, there are a LOT of opportunities to learn about Asana and it's features. I'm trying to take advantage of that.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a lot of power there and it can be a little overwhelming and tough to digest. Starting a project is fairly easy, however, the application of how to really use the project is a lot to take in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm using Asana to manage projects and hope to utilize the automation for repetitive tasks. I find the dashboards and reporting provide valuable visibility and insights into the projects.
Asana Keeps Roles Clear and Tasks Well-Defined from the Start.
What do you like best about the product?
Asana proves particularly useful in situations where it's important to set clear expectations right from the outset. I rely on it to lay out exactly what needs to be done, to add the necessary details, and to assign each task correctly so that there isn’t any confusion down the line. By doing this, it helps ensure that everyone involved understands their specific role before work even begins.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are times when adding detailed descriptions for every single task can require a bit more time, especially for smaller tasks that might seem straightforward. However, the extra effort pays off.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
What stands out most is the clarity established at the start. When tasks are well-defined from the beginning, there’s significantly less back-and-forth later on.

Smooth UI Makes Managing Multiple Projects Easy
What do you like best about the product?
It was a great tool to use for project management. The UI felt smooth, and it made it easy to manage multiple projects at the same time without feeling overwhelmed.
What do you dislike about the product?
The high prices were the main reason my company decided to stop using Asana.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is a project management tool designed for work that involves multiple businesses.
Effortless Organization and Communication
What do you like best about the product?
I like the way conversations can be kept in one spot regarding a project, instead of dealing with a bunch of emails and chats. This feature makes it valuable because I can communicate with my team better. The initial setup of Asana was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there should be a way to calendar all of your tasks and projects and see it in that view.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps keep our many projects organized for our clients and improves team communication by keeping project-related conversations in one spot, reducing emails and chats.
