Asana - great task management
What do you like best about the product?
This app is perfect for managing tasks and projects across multiple teams and groups. You can create different teams based on real life teams as well as groups for projects and sub tasks required to complete those projects. It makes every day work life a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a little bit of disconnect if you are tasked with something but not following the project or if you are mentioned but not following so things can still slip between the cracks. It's not the worst thing and as long as you follow the tasks it's fine.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Large group projects, especially those with long lead times, are easily managed using Asana. There are ways to create subtasks and upload different files to support the tasks and get opinions from other teammates more easily. You can check off tasks or like them to confirm you see them and it's overall a great way to handle work business easily.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a great product that links to your email and can easily make your every day tasks as well as large projects super easy. You can do a lot with Asana and team up with people and communicate projects so much easier if you use this.

Ability to have multiple projects. I can work On projects with Multiple teams all in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Difficulty leaving a project When no longer s part of that team.

Team communication and task management.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to organize different projects. It is easy to separate tasks by due date and add notes/subtasks to make sure you are completing everything you need to.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the "My Tasks" page can seem cluttered and does not always keep the overdue tasks right at the top as I imagine they should be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps me time manage better. I no longer have to make manual "To-Do" lists, especially for the tasks I complete every day.
The best team management app out there
What do you like best about the product?
The user interface is extremely easy to use and updated often. What is great about this app is that it sends e-mail notifications to your team before their project is due. So you don't have to do it any more. Giving you more time to do the things that mater.
What do you dislike about the product?
The premium packages are a bit pricy for small startups.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Team management for our non-profit organisation.

This is fantastic software and I would advise you to choose it above any other competing app out there.

That you can assign tasks to others so everyone knows what they need to be doing

That everyone has access to remove tasks, sometimes things get deleted when they shouldn't have

Task management! This really helps a remote working team with knowing what is due and when it's deadline is

If you work with others remotely this is a great program. Even for your in-house team! It helps keep everyone on track and moving forward with tasks that they might have forgotten about without implementing a program like this.

It helps avoid multitasking and double work.

I like that i can keep my team updated with my self projects that way we do not cross paths yet still know what each other is doing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far. I have not found any negatives with this tool.

Organization within my day to day as well as my teams, team work and being able to see a bigger picture when everything is laid out in front of you and your colleagues. Being able to check things off of your list is so satisfying.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I am still learning so i do not believe i have great advice yet. However, putting all of your tasks in Asana may look overwhelming but being able to see everything full picture and then check things off as you go is a great way to stay organized and motivated.

What do you like best about the product?
It's intuitive and easy to use. It's designed very well and things are layed out in a way that is easy to use. the task list is awesome and when you complete a task, you are visually rewarded with fun animations.

not much. it's my go to cloud app for projects

Asana has transformed our team collaboration.
What do you like best about the product?
In Asana being able to assign tasks quickly and easily, view a wide range of tasks, and add comments has been huge for our process toward improvement. Further, the ability to create teams and areas of focus helps to not clutter projects that are unrelated.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana can be a bit tricky, even for tech savvy individuals. The software takes a bit of getting used to, especially if they have never used this style or type of software previously.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana has been awesome at providing solutions for our team. Previously our team struggled to collaborate and meet deadlines on important projects, but with Asana we have been able to solve these problems.
Great all-in-one project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
Manage projects across the whole business easily and efficiently. Great for tech companies e.g. submitting tickets, bug fixes, requests, reviews, raising questions etc. Love the visual layout which makes everything clearer for everyone. Use it within the marketing team as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't think of many but sometimes I'd use Trello for certain things like review sessions, because Asana isn't as good when it comes to the kanban feature. But that isn't necessarily a bad thing, switching tools help us to stay organised in a way as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To achieve efficient project management, stay on track with progress and due dates. We used wrike before but it simply isn't as visual, Asana is great in that sense.
