I like the convenient UI and the division of workspaces in Asana. I also appreciate the ability to track the Timeline and use the Dashboard. These features help to separate tasks by teams, track workflows, and assign tasks efficiently.

Perhaps the Message function, if it worked like a task that can be expanded and collapsed, would be better, but that's my opinion.

Intuitive Project Management with Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Asana's intuitive interface and customizable workflows, which make seamless task tracking possible for agriculture projects or web development. The AI-powered automations, real-time progress views, and integrations notably boost collaboration efficiency. With its timeline and rules, Asana saves time on complex schedules like soil trials. I find the initial setup straightforward with guided onboarding, templates, and videos, allowing quick account creation and project starts in minutes. Asana pairs seamlessly with other tools like Slack and Google Workspace, enhancing efficiency without creating silos.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana's single-assignee-per-task limit frustrates teams needing multi-person collaboration, forcing duplicate tasks. The interface overwhelms for simple projects, lacks native time tracking without premium upgrades, and customer support often delays resolutions. Pricing feels misleading with hidden costs for key features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana for central project management and task-tracking. It organizes project planning and deadline setting, enhancing productivity and accountability. Task dependencies, timelines, and integrations like Slack boost collaboration and efficiency.
Organizational Gem with Pricing Caveats
What do you like best about the product?
I use Asana for project management because it helps with timeline tracking and organization. I particularly like the organization feature, as it allows me to set deadlines and communicate easily with teammates. Everything lives in specific projects, so there's no need to try to find old messages about topics, which makes it incredibly convenient.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that lots of additional items are only available after the 'starter' account option. There needs to be more advertising or communication on how the accounts past the starter are helpful, or at least remove options to those additional items on our starter account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps with timeline tracking and organization. It aids in setting deadlines and makes communication with teammates easy, keeping everything in specific projects, so I don’t need to search for old messages.
User-Friendly Interface and Flexible Project Views Make Asana Stand Out
What do you like best about the product?
The best part of Asana is the User friendly interface which I like most. The views of the project are flexible which helps team to manage different types of projects and workflows. The automation and integration part is also great about it.
What do you dislike about the product?
To track the billable hours or time it needs to be integrated with third party software. The mobile app does not have all the features. Also, setting up the advance workflow it takes time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It centralises all the tasks and project details in one place by which everyone has a clear view of work progress and deadlines. It resolved the multiple email thread related to the project as it can be updated and viewed in one place. The tracking of the project is much easier and visible to everyone.

What do you dislike about the product?
Need feature for adding subtasks and notifcications are bit noisy

It helps to keep projects, status, tasks, deadlines in an organised way so nothing falls wrong. Keep all the projects aligned in single view.
Clean Interface and Versatile Views Make Asana a Standout
What do you like best about the product?
I love Asana's clean interface and it encapsulates all the different types such as List, Board, Timeline views of task management.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't appreciate their high rates/expensive plans.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was using just Excel or writing notes to track my tasks and timelines, but Asana makes it easier for me to see my tasks in order and move them around when I need to.
Fun Layout Options and Unicorns Make It a Joy to Use

I like the layout options, I like the unicorns, I like how intuitive it is.
What do you dislike about the product?
II really only use it at a top level, and it meets all my needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy as a pin board to find bits of detail I need for my job as opposed to digging through folders, I can find things esier on the board.
Keeps Marketing Organized and Teams Aligned Effortlessly
What do you like best about the product?
It clears my head as a marketing lead and marketing work is rarely linear and I am usually juggling campaigns, content, feedback, launches, and last minute changes at the same time. Asana gives me one place where everything feels visible and under control without feeling rigid. I always know what I am responsible for, what is coming next, and what might block progress. Since I lead a team, it also makes it much easier to track progress and performance without micromanaging, because I can see ownership, timelines, and momentum at a glance.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can start to feel heavy if the setup is not done thoughtfully, with too many projects, custom fields, and rules, it is easy to overengineer the system and turn simple marketing work into admin work. Some teammates can feel overwhelmed at first, especially if they are new to structured project management tools, and it takes time to build good habits. I also find that reporting can feel a bit rigid unless you invest time upfront in structure, and quick one off or very creative tasks sometimes feel like they do not naturally fit into the system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is solving the problem of chaos and lack of visibility that naturally happens in marketing teams. Without a clear system, work ends up scattered across Slack, email, docs, and people’s heads, which leads to missed deadlines, unclear ownership, and a lot of unnecessary follow ups. Asana brings everything into one place so everyone knows what needs to be done
Versatile Task Manager with Room for Integration Improvements
What do you like best about the product?
I like that tasks can show up in multiple projects, making it easy for me to create portfolios of detailed projects and those with high-level milestones. This is useful for examining workload at both detailed and high-level views. It's also easy to keep people in the loop on collaborative work. I've started exploring the Asana API for some custom automations, which adds a level of customization that I find valuable. Additionally, my user onboarding with Asana was easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it was easier to put tasks in Asana from other software programs. For example, an Asana integration that would allow me to screenshot or copy/paste meeting notes and use AI to convert those into Asana tasks in the right project would be extremely useful! The biggest time cost of Asana to me is manually clicking buttons to ensure that tasks have all the right details.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps me keep track of my tasks, report on goals, and collaborate on shared tasks. Tasks appear in multiple projects, aiding in workload review both in detail and high-level. It's easy to loop in others for collaboration, and the API offers custom automation options.
