The Easiest Task and Project Management Tool for Teams
What do you like best about the product?
How quick and easy it is to use. Plus, Asana is continually releasing new features and updates.
What do you dislike about the product?
To get the most advanced management and admin features, you have to upgrade EVERYONE on your team to the highest-priced plan (i.e., it would be nice if different people on your team could have different subscriptions).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana has been great for managing my own tasks as well as projects with multiple departments. It's especially useful since several of our team members work remote.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Asana's free and trial options can give you a quick feel for whether or not you like it. It works best for those with many projects or people.
Love Asana!
What do you like best about the product?
How simple it is to delegate task and create checklists. It's a great tool when we onboard new agents
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the new update they did. It makes it a little more confusing to figure out how to write comments or descriptions. All in all... I like better than trello
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to keep tabs on checklists and see who has completed what. Great for task management and delegation
Strong platform for multiple ongoing projects.
What do you like best about the product?
Tasks. The reason I say this is because our team is always on the move preparing running errands and getting items pulled for our weekly events. This means many people running and doing multiple tasks at once and prior to us using Asama, as you can imagine, we were flooding a group text thread so it was mismanaged and not ideal for streamlining.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our team at XO has only been using Asana for specific tasks (for now) like who's pulling items at storage, who's designing flowers and so on. We know have a better idea of what our day looks like so at this point I don't have any constructive feedback for this app at this time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're trying to figure out if Asana should be sued as a daily communication platform, in replacement of others ex. (Gsuite, Connectteam, SMS, ext..)
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure it's the right platform for your team. We like the idea of posting multiple tasks (Timelines) so that we all know where we stand on completing things. It takes the concern away from our boss so she can focus on growing her company.
Extremely Helpful Tool!
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to stay organized. In my role, I have many different assignments and projects going on at once and it is vital for me to stay organized. Before I would have to keep an inefficient word doc as a to-do list. But now I can have all my to-dos neatly placed in one tool and I can assign tasks to myself so I never miss a deadline!
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana is pretty user-friendly and has a great interface. There are a few things I haven't yet figured out how to set up but so far no real complaints about this tool!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to get my work done on time and not skip a beat, I don't have to worry about missing deadlines or forgetting when something is due because everything I need lives in Asana.
Powerful, user friendly project management
What do you like best about the product?
Balancing tasks between several team members in various locations can be challenging. Using Asana as a single source of task and project management has given us transparency across the board.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are no dislikes. It's been an easy to use tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management is difficult. Managing tasks to meet deadlines has been simplified through our use of Asana.
Asana is easy to use but also a lot of extra perks
What do you like best about the product?
Board view for sprints (Kanban board for scrum-style agile project mgmt)
What do you dislike about the product?
Cleaning up Asana - when a large team has too many due dates all over the place, clean up can be annoying
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management. Remote work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try both boards and lists. Use visuals.
Simple and effective
What do you like best about the product?
The layouts make it easy to see what you are working on and what you have done. The unicorn when you complete a task is really fun.
What do you dislike about the product?
That I can't download it as an app to my computer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes working as part of a team easier, allowing us to assign and reassign tasks and to see where we are in a project.
With Asana project management will no longer be a problem.
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Asana is that it is easy to use and allows you to edit content in real time and in collaboration. In addition, it integrates notifications, email, calendars and creation and assignment of tasks in the same panel. As if that were not enough, it perfectly combines the organization and management of the project with the tools of collaborative work. Another advantage of this software is that it provides access to projects from any place or device with an internet connection, which benefits the mobility of users.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of its main disadvantages is that it does not allow assigning tasks to two people, which makes collaborative work difficult for teams. If the user does not assign a task it does not have a person in charge, even if he himself has generated it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The use of Asana in our company has brought very satisfactory results because it offers many possibilities when optimizing project management. This software ensures that our collaborative work is easier, more efficient and more enjoyable because it gives us multiple tools integrated in a single work panel.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I suggest to other users the use of timelines in order to optimize the visualization and organization of the assignments of each project. This also allows prioritizing pending activities. I also recommend going to the technical support service in case of any doubt or inconvenience, usually the technicians provide quick and accurate solutions.
It helps us to manage work flow, organize tasks. We use it mostly for delegating.
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is clean simple and fluid. There is no waiting or load time on any pages, which I consider a very important requirement in any software, especially task management software.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's no good solution from time tracking. No good hierarchy option for organizing tasks. Its not built with every day tasks in mind, its more focused on projects. but its simple interface makes it easily usable for any tasks you need. Chat is near real time, but not real-time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Asana helps us to prioritize projects and pending tasks. This is very useful in assigning to teams. Asana solved many problems where I worked as team, this software is truly useful for teams. It is suitable tool for companies to grow larger.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There's no specific recommendations to this tool, it should keep going with the flow.
Asana is great for projects with more than two people
What do you like best about the product?
The best feature is being able to easily assign tasks and upload files. For my clients, each task may need several working documents per task. Their system keeps me organized, I loved the ease of all progress being on one central location. This really helped with switching association management platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
The last thing that I like about this is only a minor grievance. From the home screen, the heading of the page is for Upcoming Tasks Due. While this is a great feature, I would also prefer a reminder of any tasks that are Overdue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
You can break up tasks in the way that makes the most sense to you, a large project spread out on a Board, broken into tasks, or simply a running list of tasks you need to do that day. Each job has a dedicated chat that also allows for clear communication that is identifiable per job. Communication capability is on point
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Asana is beautiful, easy to use, and feature-rich. It makes it easy for me to manage myself and my team deadlines, projects, priority levels, automation, everything is easier.
