What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to create project tasks and assign stakeholders to them. Overall, project management becomes simpler thanks to timeline notifications.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, creating sub-tasks within a main task can be a bit confusing. Aside from that, everything else works well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We primarily use it to manage our work and projects. It has become our preferred tool for maintaining project timelines in an organised and streamlined way.
Facilitates task management with some complexities for beginners
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Asana is its ease of use and clear organization of tasks. It provides a comprehensive view of work progress, whether in the form of lists, boards, or timelines, which helps in good planning and prioritization. The feature of team collaboration with comments and alerts makes communication faster and more effective, reducing the need to use multiple tools. The ability to assign subtasks helps in breaking down large tasks into small, clear steps. The feature of setting deadlines and automatic alerts is very useful for time commitment. I like the integration with tools like Google Drive and Slack because it facilitates file sharing and communication without leaving the platform. Follow-up reports and dashboards help in evaluating team performance and quickly identifying strengths and weaknesses.
What do you dislike about the product?
From my perspective, there are some aspects of Asana that can be improved. Sometimes the interface is cluttered with options, especially for new users, which requires time to get accustomed to. Additionally, some advanced features are only available in paid plans, which may not be suitable for small teams or individuals. Also, the management of permissions and advanced reports could be more flexible and straightforward. Improving the user experience for beginners and providing more features in the free version would make Asana better overall.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana solves my problems of task ambiguity and overlapping responsibilities, and provides a system to organize tasks in one place, making it easier to track progress and reducing the forgetting of deadlines. It also improves team communication by providing comments and updates.
Flexible and Lightweight Solution, Not My Go-To For Everything Though
What do you like best about the product?
Flexible, lightweight. It's quick to build a task and run through different screens. It's very easy to figure out. I like that it can connect with Slack.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is not functional enough to accomplish my needs. Recurring tasks with subtasks in them never work properly. It can be a mix between too rigid vs too flexible. Sometimes the Slack integration doesn't work super well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's one place to communicate about task needs, relevant links, etc. Templates can be helpful for recurring projects that have similar subtasks. It's a good reminder for things in the future, and I know many people use it as a daily to do list (though I don't myself). When used properly, it keeps people on the same page.
Effortless Task Management and Automation for Freelancers
What do you like best about the product?
As a freelancer, I work with multiple clients at the same time. Managing multiple tasks and ensuring that proper tracking is done is not easy. This is where Asana helps a great deal. It allowed not only to ensure that the project is shared with the respected team members, but also helped me to track the status well. Starting from the allotment to when the task is in progress to completion, it helped me to keep track of every step with ease. The best part was the ability to curate different projects and tasks at the same time. Another helpful feature was the automation. I was not required to constantly check if there was a new allotment or anything. The automates messages and emails ensured that everything was done in time and there were no delays. This helped streamline actions and smooth the entire day's tasks. I was able to integrate it with the existing doc system and clients as well. In fact, when I started using this, I found it very simple to use with no deep tech points that hinder the implementation. I have been using this for almost 2 years now, and I am really happy. Also, the support for any issue was seamless.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are no major things that I do not like about Asana. But yes, for newbies, it is a bit complicated. While there is a centralised view for every project, there should be an option where they can be notified of what has to be done next, or a sharing module. Rest is all great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For freelancers like me, Asana is solving the biggest issue of task management. It allowed me to check everything and keep work on track with no problems at all. This app has helped me to manage multiple tasks, save time, and ensure that the work progress is recorded with no delays.

I like how it helps keep me organized and I'm able to plan campaigns smooth and efficiently.

I don't like that Asana AI will automatically change status' for tasks.

What do you dislike about the product?
Key Performance Indicators seem impressive and useful in theory, but implementing them in long-term projects turns out to be quite complex and challenging. Project progress updates are not shown on the dashboard in real time; instead, multiple managerial approvals are needed before any data is reflected. This approval process can cause confusion, particularly when some approvals are delayed, as it may give the impression that the project is not moving forward at all.

Solve To-Do list tracking issues and update the list by one-click. Great platform for project collaboration.
