Simplifies Task Management with Ease
What do you like best about the product?
I love using Asana for its user-friendly interface, which makes it easy to communicate tasks with my coworkers and organize my personal tasks. It's fantastic for creating projects and assigning tasks to different departments like marketing or the events team, allowing everyone to track tasks and manage due dates. The way it helps to visualize task priorities with different colors and letters is really beneficial. I appreciate the ease of collaboration, being able to tag colleagues for notifications, and managing events efficiently. The comprehensive feature set, including assigning tasks, creating deadlines, and status updates, simplifies workflow and task management. I also enjoy the easy integration with Google Calendar, making it simpler to track deadlines and important dates. A couple of training videos were enough to get me comfortable with Asana, and the setup was quick and straightforward. Overall, it provides everything on one platform for effective communication and organization across departments. I would definitely rate Asana a 10 for recommendation to others.
What do you dislike about the product?
So we are using the free version. I think, if we upgrade it, we would definitely see more benefits. But creating portfolios is something that is not working out currently. We have been just creating projects and assigning tasks to people.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to communicate tasks with coworkers, organize personal tasks, and manage events. It simplifies workflow, helps assign tasks with due dates, and centralizes communication for finance and HR, making everything easier in one platform.
Tasks Don’t Work as Expected
What do you like best about the product?
Helpful to have a place to write down tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tasks don't automatically organize themselves by deadline or priority, tasks get lost easily. Google calendar integration could be stronger.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeps track of projects
Easy Cross-Team Management with Company-Wide Visibility
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to manage across different teams and have visibility company wide
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that there were more status updates available instead of just marking things as complete
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I’ve been using Asana for project management and overall it’s been a really solid tool for keeping everything organized. It makes it easy to track tasks, assign responsibilities, and see where things stand without endless email chains or Slack messages. I especially like being able to break big projects into smaller steps so nothing slips through the cracks.
The interface is pretty intuitive once you get the hang of it, and it’s helpful to see timelines, due dates, and task ownership all in one place. It’s been useful for coordinating with multiple people across different parts of a project.
That said, it can feel a little overwhelming at first because there are so many features and ways to structure things. Once it’s set up properly though, it really helps keep projects moving and everyone on the same page.

Simplicity with Robust Features and User-Friendly Design
What do you like best about the product?
Asana strikes the perfect balance between simplicity and powerful functionality, making it an exceptional tool for tracking transactions, managing team communication, and building automated checklists. The automated date-driven reminders are invaluable for ensuring strict deadlines are never missed. It provides crystal-clear visibility into team responsibilities and due dates, which is essential when coordinating operations remotely. Despite having all the advanced rules and tracking systems I need to manage complex pipelines, the platform remains incredibly intuitive and user-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
One significant limitation is the inability of its native rules to calculate relative dates. For example, if I set a primary due date, I would love the ability to tell Asana to automatically generate a subtask with a deadline exactly 3 days before or after that main date. Currently, Asana struggles with dynamically counting days and automatically updating subtask deadlines if the parent task's date changes. To achieve this level of date automation, I currently have to rely on third-party integrations like Zapier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana solves the challenge of keeping complex transactions organized and transparent. By centralizing our tracking, communication, and checklists into one platform, it eliminates the risk of missing critical deadlines. The automations and date-driven reminders ensure that nothing falls through the cracks, while clearly defining exactly who is in charge of each step and when it is due. Ultimately, it benefits me by providing complete visibility and accountability across our entire pipeline.
Effortless Organization, Highly Recommended

I use Asana for work in real estate to keep track of all our transactions and everything we do. I appreciate having everything in one place and find it easy to use. I like how effective Asana is for building systems and keeping track without any crashes. It's great overall, with no complaints or issues, and I find the updates helpful. The initial setup was very easy, making it a seamless experience for me.

User-Friendly Interface that Streamlines Task Management
What do you like best about the product?
I like most about Asana is that it makes it super easy and simple to accomplish the goals that we need to accomplish. The interface itself is very user-friendly, which allows us to save time and avoid extensive training for new employees learning the platform. I also appreciate that it integrates directly with different software like our Shopify store and Make.com, allowing us to achieve our goals more efficiently. The initial setup was pretty easy, as we were able to get it set up and working efficiently very quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that could definitely be improved in Asana is the ability to assign multiple people to a task.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to organize tasks and allocate them across employees, making it easy to achieve goals with its user-friendly interface, saving time without extensive training.
Transformative for Clarity and Efficiency
What do you like best about the product?
I really like Asana's user interface and the ability to see whatever level of detail I feel like. Multihoming is a standout feature for me, as well as the global custom fields and project-level automation rather than globally. I appreciate the customizability of the My Tasks page and that each task can only have one assignee, which brings clarity to who is responsible for what by when—it essentially serves as a built-in RACI chart. All of these features help bring clarity to our work. Asana, when set up correctly, forces you to define work and allows you to track the same work across multiple projects without duplication. It's the best tool on the market from both the administrator's standpoint and the end-user. It makes the implementation process easy because the tool can scale with the team and can be understood by a novice user but also handles just about anything an advanced user can throw at it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of their interface updates cause work disruptions as they take away features that are useful in an attempt to streamline, but actually make things take more time/clicks. Also the ability to filter a calendar view based on a date custom field would be incredible. Additionally a condition in their rule builder that checks if any subtasks have been completed would be helpful. Also media approval features could use some work. Other than that the tool is near perfect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps with organization, operational efficiency, dependency management, productivity analysis, reporting, communication, meetings, work intake, and managing publications and time off calendars.
Highly Customizable for Team Workflows
What do you like best about the product?
I like how customizable Asana is, and how it kind of adapts to the way that your brain works and the way you wanna organize things. That adaptability is invaluable. The setup was really straightforward, and the great tutorials made it easy to integrate into the team's Asana, with no problems at all.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be challenging to organize the dependency or to set up recurring tasks. Sometimes there are specific workflows that happen on a regular basis and need to happen across multiple people. And that can be a little bit hard to do and hard to set up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps me manage workflows and workloads across teams, enabling task sequencing and visibility for effective collaboration. It also helps provide context while allowing team members to have their specific task views, which is super helpful.
Organized and Flexible, Easy Team Integration
What do you like best about the product?
I use Asana for project management and task creation. I like how I can keep my tasks on schedule and am starting to integrate it within my team. What I like most about Asana is that I can create individual projects, and then create tasks and color code them, add statuses to them, and complete them. I really enjoyed the calendar view and the 'my task' option to see overall what is assigned to me. And I really enjoyed using it every single day that I work.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it would be better if there was a nicer reporting analyzing option where we can pull all of the team's tasks into maybe, like, a weekly task list. This would really help keep the whole team on track across multiple projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana for managing projects and creating tasks, keeping everything organized and adapting to changes easily.
Centralized Project Management with Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I like Asana's centralized setup, which helps with managing all of our projects. The modular setups for individual business units are also great as they allow less IT and project management involvement, making it easier for end users to create, set up, and manage their own projects independently. It's simple, and it lets us filter everything up to our PMO.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI can be a little bit difficult to use. Also, the help could be updated to be faster with responses. The sales team could be a lot better with providing information. I feel that they're always hard selling.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana gives us a single platform for managing projects, allowing less IT involvement. Its centralized and modular setups let users independently manage projects and filter them up to our PMO.
