What do you like best about the product?
Asana is extremely helpful in organizing tasks and projects in a way that helps prevent things from slipping through the cracks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes building projects becomes a little time-consuming adding tasks. a list of standard tasks would be helpful
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Projects are more thorough and easier to manage. Multiple associates can be involved in a single project with all of their own tasks to complete etc. This functionaity allows us to follow, track and keep up to date with complex or long term projects very simply.

Excellent Project Management Tool

What do you like best about the product?
It is very user-friendly and easy to implement within a team, thus increasing the adoption rate. Configuration and navigation are straightforward. Otherwise, the knowledge database is very developed, and you can find an easy answer to most questions. Altogether, the features provide a flexible customization.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting features are not super advanced in the Premium Tier; however, it is perfectly okay depending on the granularity required. I get the information I need without the upper tier. I believe the Portfolio function would solve that.

One thing that is missing for me is the ability to "folderize" projects under a team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Asana, I can keep track of my tasks and break down any project into bite-size tasks, assign them, and track the team's development. It has solved the headache of creating and reworking work back schedules in the infamous Excel format.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Build out a best practice guide to set rules in your team. It will ensure data hygiene, real-time updates, and overall maximize the adoption rate.

What do you like best about the product?
It helps in setting up virtual workstations for your employees to collaborate and work on their projects from everywhere. It helps administration and managers to easily set deadlines of tasks so that employees will not be able to miss their deadlines and everything related to their projects will be visible to them so thus increasing productivity of work. Notifications and reminders can be set through it which helps employees to get to know about their upcoming projects and deadlines.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not providing enough exporting features. Its mobile app has room for improvements. There are some limitations in tracking bugs and errors through it. Its communication tools like email and chats are lacking some features. It has portfolio management tools but they are more expensive. Its security system is not much reliable. Customizing icons is difficult in it. It is not providing an efficient technical support system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It various tools are helpful in tracking bugs and error in it. Its administrative tools help in providing labels to tasks that are assigned to employees. Every team members can provide their suggestions and collect request from every member. Various tools are beneficial for small scale businesses in its free version such as collaboration tools which are helpful in working collaboratively on your projects and giving feedback on your projects.

Great Task Management Software

  • October 11, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
There are so many great things about Asana. To name a few: the project tabs are user friendly and visually appealing, The task lists can be viewed in a timeline format, board format, list, and a number of other ways. It's easy to add users and assign tasks to them, and you can customize the columns to then show the measures that you want to see (eg. status, % completed, notes etc). I also love the overview page, which connects to your company goals.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see a Desktop app for Mac
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing a team and the team's tasks has never been easier. Things are getting done faster, and we will never go back to using a spreadsheet as a task list!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't be daunted at first. Take it one step or one project at a time.

Look out, Trello

  • October 08, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Asana is the options for swapping the views for your boards. Don't like the Trello card format? Try the list. this makes it great for lists/tasks, agendas, and anything else you need to organize and track. I also very much like being able to comment and see discussions for a historical view of what was talked about with regard to a particular task.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main quibble would be with the interface with regard to the project or group. Sometimes it's confusing which group project I'm viewing and it seems like there are a few extra steps of busy work in the setup of a project. Most likely a learning curve thing.Honestly, I haven't found anything else yet I dislike aside from the brand logo, which makes me feel like it's an app for tracking your cycle... It would be a great addition to be able to customize the app icon and maybe some of the other visuals as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This has helped me be more organized since comparing it to Trello. I love the conversational threads that can happen on tasks so I can go revisit what was concluded about a given issue with my team. I've also been able to bring more focus to my tasks.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're working with a team of coworkers, I recommend getting them to adopt the use of Asana so they are not going outside of the app to update info or add new projects and tasks. Having the entire team use the app will make things run so much better.

One of the best collaborative tools for WFH teams

  • October 06, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Being my first experience with project management tools, working with Asana was really so easy. You will require little or no help to understand the task distribution and the overall workflow. Managing our day-to-day task with Asana is quite simple. For the project managers, creating a new project and its subtasks is straightforward. Once the tasks are created they can be easily assigned to teams, just by names.
What do you dislike about the product?
Actually, there is no demerits or disadvantages to this application. The app works the best for all scenarios and project handling. Even if I compare it with EverNote I will prefer using Asana as it covers all the worthy features for project management. However, if I had to list one demerit then it would be its pricing. Once the pricing structure for paid Asana editions will become less, it will do wonders in the IT market.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I feel Asana is capable of handling everything, basic to complex projects. Task handling is very smooth and you don't need to refer to any tutorials for it. Yes, I have used a limited set of features but the free version is still better than the other tools. Talking about its visuals, the interface is neat and easy to understand. You can keep a track of all the tasks that have been assigned to you and you can change their status accordingly as working, done or completed.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For new startup businesses, who have just entered into IT industry, Asana is the best tool for teams collaboration. The way it offers an option to create multiple projects and their subtasks is super. On top of that, you can set up priorities and deadlines for a specific task. Managers can easily keep an eye on the progress of the work whether it's pending or has been completed. Though I have not used the Premium and Business features, the Basic version will also do a great job.
In short, I would highly recommend it for the work for home culture.
