Streamlined Project Tracking and Collaboration with a Clean, User-Friendly Interface

  • April 21, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Asana is how straightforward it makes project tracking and team coordination. The interface is clean and user-friendly, so creating tasks, assigning responsibilities, setting deadlines, and keeping an eye on progress all feels efficient and manageable. The timeline and board views make it easy to visualize each project stage, and the notifications and reminders help ensure nothing slips through the cracks. It also strengthens collaboration since team members can comment directly on tasks, attach files, and update statuses in one central place. Overall, it saves time, improves accountability, and keeps work organized, even when I’m managing multiple projects at once.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I dislike about Asana is that some of the more advanced features are only available in the higher pricing plans, which can feel limiting for smaller teams. Also, when I’m managing multiple projects at once, the volume of notifications can become overwhelming. For new users, it may take time to fully understand everything that’s available, including features like rules, dependencies, and reporting. A simpler onboarding experience, along with more flexibility in the lower-tier plans, would make Asana even better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps solve the problem of scattered communication and missed deadlines by keeping tasks, updates, and responsibilities in one central place. Before using it, it was hard to track project progress across emails and chats, but now it’s much easier to assign work, monitor deadlines, and follow project status in real time. As a result, team accountability has improved, follow-up time has decreased, and overall project execution feels more organized and efficient—especially when managing multiple tasks at once.

Clean, Intuitive Asana That Makes Even Big Task Lists Feel Manageable

  • April 20, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Asana is how clean and intuitive it feels right out of the box. It somehow makes even a huge list of tasks feel manageable instead of overwhelming. I also like being able to switch between a list, a board, or a calendar view depending on how my brain is working that day. The little animations when you complete a task are a nice touch, too—it genuinely makes checking things off feel like a win. Overall, it’s a smooth experience that doesn’t feel like “work” just to stay organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I find pretty annoying is that you can’t assign a single task to multiple people. I understand they want one person to be accountable, but in the real world a lot of work is a group effort, and having to duplicate tasks just to show who’s involved is a hassle.

The pricing can also feel a bit like a trap. It’s not easy to add just one person at a time, since you’re pushed into buying seats in blocks of five. For a smaller team, that ends up feeling like wasted money.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana basically prevents those “who was supposed to do that?” conversations from happening. Before we started using it, we were constantly digging through old chats and emails just to figure out the next step on a project. Now everything has a clear owner and a due date, so there’s far less confusion about what needs to happen and who’s responsible.

It’s also helped me stay on top of my own workload, because I can see exactly what’s on my plate for the week without having to keep a mental list of everything. Overall, it takes a lot of the stress out of managing a busy schedule.

Nothing at this time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana keeps project tasks and timelines understandable, holding my agency and clients accountable and shows tasks daily to make incremental progress towards goals.

Empowers Task Management with Clear Visuals, Needs Simpler Reporting

  • April 18, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the dashboards and the way I can quickly see how a project is going by just taking a look at the dashboard and seeing the charts. This setup allows me to understand every part of a project based on the statistics. It's also helpful for monitoring time consumption on projects, budgeting hours, and seeing the percentage of completion. I appreciate being able to evaluate whether we're on track with tasks and knowing how much more we need to invest in a project. Asana's customization options were really nice, letting us find the right templates and workflows, even if it took a little bit of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not very clear how to export reports, for example. It's also a little over complicated sometimes. So it's not as intuitive sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to keep track of my tasks, control projects, and stay updated. It provides a clear view of timelines and progress, helping me stay on track. I also appreciate the dashboards for quick project status insights.

Keeps Project Tracking Flawless, But Notification System Needs Improvement

  • April 17, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the feature where you can assign tasks from the same project to different team members and the internal notes. It's important for me in construction, where lots of items need attention and they don't all come up at the same time. Keeping track of these new items is crucial.
What do you dislike about the product?
Probably the notifications since we handle so many projects and we have so many tasks assigned. Sometimes it's easy for you to miss them if you don't have them in the top of your mind.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to track project progress, assign tasks, avoid missing information, and manage action items effectively.

Flexible Task Views That Keep Us Organized

  • April 16, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The various options to see your tasks in different formats
What do you dislike about the product?
Recurring tasks do not generate until the initial/prior task is complete. This really limits the longevity view of routines and consistent efforts within the team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps with personal accountability and project management. Keeps tasks top of mind and things do not slip through the cracks.

Asana Keeps Our Marketing Projects Aligned with Easy Collaboration and Integrations

  • April 16, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
For a small marketing team like the one I'm on, Asana helps us keep track of all the projects we all have to manage together. The Collaborative abilities to comment, directly, edit, share, and update tasks is hugely beneficial for keeping everyone align. It integrates with other tools like Slack, HubSpot, and our file share, and it's relatively easy to learn and use. I like the help available if you need something you can't initially find.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that it were more flexible and configurable to highly specific work that our niche industry calls for. I don't have as much power to segment things at a granular level, and we sometimes run into permission issues that don't 100% make sense for how we do work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralizing where and how we do work, and keeping people updated on where others are in their workflows and processes.
