Help for the Organizationally Challenged
What do you like best about the product?
I use Asana every day. Asana is the place that I can go to when I need a snapshot of everything going on at work. It helps me keep my tasks in order, and is a quick way to check in with teammates. When I feel a little lost on priorities, it helps to look here.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can feel overwhelming to have so many comments coming in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have team members all over the world, and it helps to have one place we can all connect on projects. It saves the stress of wondering, "Am I forgetting something?" because if my boss expects something, it is posted here.
A streamlined powerhouse for creative workflows at GVC
What do you like best about the product?
Asana has become an absolutely essential part of my day-to-day workflow as the lead graphic designer at GVC Real Estate Team. It's helped bring structure to our fast-paced creative projects while giving me the freedom to stay flexible. I especially appreciate the visual clarity of task boards and timelines—it’s like having a bird’s-eye view of every asset in production. The ability to set due dates, comment directly on tasks, and link documents (like AI files or branding PDFs) makes cross-team collaboration seamless. It’s also been incredibly helpful for coordinating projects across marketing, photography, and design—keeping everyone in sync without drowning in Slack messages or endless email threads.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s not much I dislike, honestly. If anything, I wish the creative side of Asana—like image previews and file management—was a bit more robust. Sometimes larger design files don’t render previews properly, and it would be awesome if it had deeper integrations with tools like Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop. Also, while the interface is intuitive, the mobile experience could use a smoother UI when managing more complex, multi-layered tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps solve the chaos of creative project coordination. At GVC, I’m managing a constant flow of design requests, asset handoffs, and multi-stage projects that involve coordination between design, marketing, and leadership. Asana gives me a clear structure to break down larger initiatives into bite-sized, trackable tasks. It also helps reduce the need for redundant updates or status meetings, since everything is transparently documented. Overall, it has significantly reduced miscommunication, helped us hit deadlines more consistently, and made our design pipeline much smoother.
Asana Keeps Our Team Organized and On Track
What do you like best about the product?
Asana’s user interface is clean and easy to understand. I like how I can organize tasks into projects, set priorities, and assign due dates in just a few clicks. The flexibility to view tasks in list, board, or calendar format makes it great for different work styles. Team collaboration is smooth, and I can quickly see who’s doing what and when.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, the notification settings can feel overwhelming, especially if you're part of many projects. Also, the mobile app, while useful, could be a bit more user-friendly when managing complex projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps us keep all our work organized in one place, so we no longer rely on long email threads or scattered notes. It makes it easy to assign tasks, track progress, and meet deadlines. With better visibility across projects, our team stays aligned, avoids confusion, and works more efficiently. Asana also reduces the risk of missing important steps or due dates, which has improved our overall productivity.

Mixed Opion on Asana, great platform poor CS
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is a wonderful and extremely helpful and intuitive platform that allows our company a centralized place to create, view, and update projects. We do very large RFPs-Request For Proposal from states and counties and we are working on 10-15 at any given time, this has allowed us to provide commentary and feedback as to if it is a go or no-go RFP. We come to Asana to quickly vet a project from many areas of expertise--Ops, finance, staffing, location, etc and we make a decision on if we want to pursue the project. Asana is a wonderful and useful platform for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could save closed projects in a folder, when it is 'archived' no one else can find it or see it to reference the comments and the feedback of that file/project. This is a big miss for us as we have files we would like to reference all the internal dialogue but once its archived it is mostly gone from view for the team. The customer service at Asana was an awful experience. There is no phone number or no one to call for support, forget about that. Everything is bot based and if it gets escalated it is entirely canned and impersonal and unrelated emails that don't help. I do believe most answers can be located in the help center but our issue could not be found there and it took 2 weeks and dozens of emails to get some live assistance that solved the issue in minutes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a centralized location for all points of our company to review, comment and approve or reject incoming projects.
