Empowers Project Management But Needs Better Time Tracking

  • March 11, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find the estimated time feature really cool because it gives a good overview of planned workload for everyone. I also like the portfolios feature as it provides an overview on status updates for all projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Estimated time vs real time workload projections don't happen now. No way to have an inbox feature per project. The teams feature is confusing and we haven't figured it out yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana for project management, organization, and coordination. The Estimated time feature gives a good overview of planned workload, and Portfolios provide a status update for all projects.

Streamlined Task Management with Excellent Integrations

  • March 11, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Asana to manage my work, and what I like most are the integrations. The ease of forwarding a mail to Asana to create a task is really great. I don't have to flag mails anymore, I just forward them, and they include the entire mail history and attachments. It's also quite easy to get started because Asana is just a canvas and the integrations are really easy to set up.
What do you dislike about the product?
One improvement would be a way to clean up tasks. Do a profile check for duplicates, enrich your task briefing by doing an AI search through your mails and messages and then propose a briefing, subtasks, collaborators. There is always room for more integrations I guess, maybe with tools like HubSpot, or a more dedicated CoPilot integration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana for an overview, moving away from just lists, and to easily collaborate with colleagues. It simplifies adding emails as tasks, complete with history and attachments, thanks to its integrations.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Right now, Asana helps me organize tasks and get them streamlined using rules and automation. This has helped us remove repetitive tasks off our our team and allow for more time for us to do more critical work.

Easy to Use with Learning Curve for Customization

  • March 10, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Asana is easy to use, which helps me manage my personal projects more effectively. I appreciated attending a seminar that taught me how to use some features better. I now know how to customize some buttons and options, making Asana more tailored to my needs rather than just using the template, which felt less accurate. The initial setup of Asana was pretty easy for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm a little confused about the subscription because I want to subscribe to personal since I'm just using it myself and to prepare for a job in program management. I don't really have the money right now, and I'm also not using it to run a profitable company. It says there's a fourteen-day trial, so I was thinking of subscribing to the personal one so that it's free for now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to organize my personal project details clearly and attractively, enhancing my passion for the work. Learning new features made tasks more accurate and customizable.

Asana Boosts Transparency with a Responsive Community

  • March 10, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana takes disparate systems and makes them accessible and increases transparency and accountability. They also have a fantastic community of ambassadors with a healthy forum for discussion on how to best take advantage of Asana as well as suggestions on how to make the platform better. Feature requests do not go unanswered, and if it isn't possible they will let you know why.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some less impactful features that have been on the roadmap for quite sometime, as other more important work arises. If anything, it is a minor irritant as I have learned in the forum that sometimes my workflow/use case is less common than others.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana grants a significant amount of visibility on a global level. It allows team members to access information ad hoc without needing to wait for their colleagues in a different time zone to see their request. It makes the management of employee tasks much easier as well. Asana is also helping us cut down on redundant documentation/workflows as their tasks can be "multi-homed", or live in multiple projects. With their rules, you can get very specific with automations that work within the Asana ecosystem, or can integrate with a number of prebuilt API integrations with programs like Outlook/Teams, Slack, Jira, etc.

Fast, Straightforward Task Organization with Fantastic Team Management

  • March 10, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how simple it is to organize tasks. It's fast, simple, and straightforward. And if I want to get specific, I can use more in-depth and detailed features. Team management is fantastic.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface is gradually becoming more complex, and sometimes there's too much information if you want to keep it simple. There's something about the mobile app that doesn't feel quite right to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I manage my own tasks and those of my team. I can also see how many tasks each team member has, allowing me to constantly monitor individual workloads and overall workflow completion times.

  • March 10, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Asana is intuitive and easy to use. It's available everywhere, including on Mac, the web, mobile, and through extensions, which I find incredibly convenient. I can add tasks on the fly, dig deeper on my laptop, or send a task via Microsoft Teams. Asana has become an essential part of my work due to these features. I also appreciate that it's more robust than Trello without being overwhelming, making it a great tool for my needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana MCP is very hard to set up. I am unable to make use of it until now. Make documentation more accessible so people can troubleshoot.

Visual Layout and Task Tracking Made Easy

  • March 09, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the visual options for project layout in Asana. I like seeing all my tasks outlined on one page, and the calendar view is helpful. The initial setup of Asana was very easy, which was a big plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the notification emails that are unclear about my role until I click on them. I also have a hard time finding tasks I'm a collaborator on if I haven't bookmarked the project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps track who needs to complete tasks and deadlines. I like seeing all my tasks on one page, and the calendar view is helpful too.
