Streamlined Project Management with Robust Automation
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Asana is easy to navigate and it helps automate tasks, making operations more efficient on a daily basis. It keeps everything organized and ensures everything is on schedule. It allows us to get a full view on the status of our projects. Asana keeps track of all our agency's activities and coordinates project management effectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think they could improve on the interface. Make it more insightful in terms of the number of tasks and the status or like, how many open items that we have. The home page would be more of an insights dashboard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to keep everything organized, ensuring our projects stay on schedule. It helps us get a full view of our project status, optimizing coordination for all our agency activities.
As a Recent Re-Convert, Asana Keeps Getting Better
What do you like best about the product?
Exponential improvement since its inception over a decade ago. The design aesthetic is incredible, and it’s easy to navigate. It also has great AI capabilities and quality features across various subscription levels, plus a discount for non-profits. As a project manager with nine years of experience, I recently switched to Asana from other platforms I used to swear by.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s unfortunate that, on the first page, you can’t access portfolios. I also wish Asana offered a sliding scale for smaller organizations or independent artists versus corporations. It’s also a bit weird that you have to click “show inherited fields” just to view custom fields that have been added—for example, a custom status.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I’ve used Wrike, Podio, ClickUp, Monday.com, and Motion, and I appreciate each of them for different reasons. I stuck with Wrike for years, but I was recently converted to Asana while working on a client project.
I used Asana back in the early days, when it was essentially just a glorified checklist, and I was genuinely blown away by what it’s become. It makes international collaboration easy, and the functionality and interface are received positively by people from different cultures and by teammates who speak different languages. It’s also relatively easy to customize projects, and the overall aesthetic isn’t just for vibes—it feels psychologically informed. Being on the platform consistently feels like a fun, positive experience, not a dreaded task.

User-Friendly with Robust Project Tracking
What do you like best about the product?
I most enjoy that Asana is easy for end users to use. Asana has been the easiest for my team to adopt, especially since we didn't previously use project management tools. It's easy to assign and reassign tasks and to create templates of projects that we often revisit. I appreciate the visible progress across portfolios. Task reassignment is straightforward, allowing us to delegate tasks efficiently. Template creation is a time-saver, especially with recurring tasks, letting us set predetermined date ranges for due dates without adding them annually. I value the visible progress tracking, which shows a percentage completion on projects, helping us determine what we are ahead on, what we're behind on, and what needs further attention.
What do you dislike about the product?
The notifications are a little bit difficult, and my team often receives many more notifications than they would like via email. We can't simply disable them because it would be for everything. I'd like to see more customization in what kind of cadence these notifications go out and what information they'd detail.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana allows my team to collaborate across departments, track tasks at a managerial level, and prevent overdue projects. It streamlines task reassignment, simplifies template creation for recurring tasks, and enables visible progress tracking to manage project timelines efficiently.
Streamlined Task Management with Automated Workflow
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can easily check something off and it will trigger another task for another person. It eliminates me needing to communicate directly with my other team members, and that way nothing gets lost in translation. It's very streamlined. I think the initial setup was simple.
What do you dislike about the product?

I like Asana's easy interface, which makes it simple for me to manage employee tasks and workload. I find assigning tasks very useful, and I appreciate getting notified of updates, especially when someone misses a deadline. The initial setup was very easy, and overall, I like all aspects of Asana.

Effortless Task Management, Instant Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy Asana is to use and how easy collaboration is. Being able to transfer tasks from one person to another seamlessly within the app is just incredible. You don't have to remember who was going to do what or by when; you can put it all in the app, and it's just taken care of for you. The initial setup was very easy, with almost no setup required. I use it with Slack and Gmail. If there were two things in life that I could sell, it would be Apple products and Asana.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not sure what the limitations on this are, but I do think it would be nice sometimes if more than one user could be assigned to a task.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to manage our accounting projects and tasks. It's easy to use, makes collaboration simple, and allows seamless task transfers. I don't have to remember who does what or when—it's all in the app, making our workflow efficient.
Effortless Setup, Brightens Task Management
What do you like best about the product?
Honestly, I really like the little unicorns or characters that go across the screen once I complete a task. It's a fun touch. I also appreciate how easy it is to list tasks and share them with the team. Setting up Asana was super easy, and having the templates set up is really helpful for keeping things updated or copying them over for new projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Probably the levels of the different subscriptions. I'm not sure if we can filter all of my projects into a calendar. Up to one calendar that shows everything that's going on in one place. I haven't seen that happen because we don't have the access to all the dashboards. I didn't like the integration into Google Calendar, but that's where I would want to use it the most.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps me manage multiple partnerships simultaneously, keeping track of everything for partners at different stages of implementation and ongoing relationships.
Simplifies Task Management with Ease
What do you like best about the product?
I love using Asana for its user-friendly interface, which makes it easy to communicate tasks with my coworkers and organize my personal tasks. It's fantastic for creating projects and assigning tasks to different departments like marketing or the events team, allowing everyone to track tasks and manage due dates. The way it helps to visualize task priorities with different colors and letters is really beneficial. I appreciate the ease of collaboration, being able to tag colleagues for notifications, and managing events efficiently. The comprehensive feature set, including assigning tasks, creating deadlines, and status updates, simplifies workflow and task management. I also enjoy the easy integration with Google Calendar, making it simpler to track deadlines and important dates. A couple of training videos were enough to get me comfortable with Asana, and the setup was quick and straightforward. Overall, it provides everything on one platform for effective communication and organization across departments. I would definitely rate Asana a 10 for recommendation to others.
What do you dislike about the product?
So we are using the free version. I think, if we upgrade it, we would definitely see more benefits. But creating portfolios is something that is not working out currently. We have been just creating projects and assigning tasks to people.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to communicate tasks with coworkers, organize personal tasks, and manage events. It simplifies workflow, helps assign tasks with due dates, and centralizes communication for finance and HR, making everything easier in one platform.
Simplicity with Robust Features and User-Friendly Design
What do you like best about the product?
Asana strikes the perfect balance between simplicity and powerful functionality, making it an exceptional tool for tracking transactions, managing team communication, and building automated checklists. The automated date-driven reminders are invaluable for ensuring strict deadlines are never missed. It provides crystal-clear visibility into team responsibilities and due dates, which is essential when coordinating operations remotely. Despite having all the advanced rules and tracking systems I need to manage complex pipelines, the platform remains incredibly intuitive and user-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
One significant limitation is the inability of its native rules to calculate relative dates. For example, if I set a primary due date, I would love the ability to tell Asana to automatically generate a subtask with a deadline exactly 3 days before or after that main date. Currently, Asana struggles with dynamically counting days and automatically updating subtask deadlines if the parent task's date changes. To achieve this level of date automation, I currently have to rely on third-party integrations like Zapier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana solves the challenge of keeping complex transactions organized and transparent. By centralizing our tracking, communication, and checklists into one platform, it eliminates the risk of missing critical deadlines. The automations and date-driven reminders ensure that nothing falls through the cracks, while clearly defining exactly who is in charge of each step and when it is due. Ultimately, it benefits me by providing complete visibility and accountability across our entire pipeline.
Effortless Organization, Highly Recommended
What do you like best about the product?
I use Asana for work in real estate to keep track of all our transactions and everything we do. I appreciate having everything in one place and find it easy to use. I like how effective Asana is for building systems and keeping track without any crashes. It's great overall, with no complaints or issues, and I find the updates helpful. The initial setup was very easy, making it a seamless experience for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
No dislikes
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to track all transactions in real estate. It keeps everything in one place, it's easy to use, and helps build systems efficiently without crashes or problematic updates.
