Organizing Good Chaos
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use and I was able to train my team to manage their daily workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it has too many options, and gets confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping coordinate cross functional team work.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the flexibility Asana provides in creating and structuring a project. It allows you to manage your projects in the most efficient manner possible.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say the inability to mass assign due dates or owners via copy & paste.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is helping us become more efficient and create better standard operating procedures.
Can't Function Without It
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Asana now for several years, and its my go-to for just about everything. In the professional world, Asana is an essential tool for us to manage our team workflow. As a marketing department in a very bustling industry, we're constantly battling between short-form urgent deadlines, longer-form deadlines with intentional planning, and administrative back-end to-do's that just pile up. I appreciate Asana's ability to track and measure my team's time and display workload in calendar view. Utilizing both automatic work flows and tasks, as well as the plug-ins (teams, word etc). it makes staying on top of task tracking much more digestible, rather than creating another thing to do. The team appreciates (and my leadership) a single source of truth for workload and quantifying achievements. Onboarding my team within the platform was quick, and it only took a couple of weeks before they were super users. We use Asana every single day.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some plug-ins are less functional than others. Not being able to integrate Power BI without an enterprise plan is also dissapointing.
I do wish exporting the information out of Asana came with a greater range of options. However, overall these are minor tweaks that I anticipate will evolve over the platforms time.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Task load and the variety and frequency of tasks and their deadlines. It keeps information organized, consistent, and in one place. It shows overlaps in workload and time for individuals.
Great to creating ideas and projects and then completing them!

You can set daily tasks and goals and then check off as you complete them.

the color coding for the project changes for the whole team and not individually

What do you like best about the product?
Asana helps me organize my thoughts, which in turn allows me to create projects and monitor tasks on a daily basis. It is easy-to-use and has great customer interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is quite a bit of manual setup required, but this is not different than any other software.

Asana is helping me manage multiple projects, as well as enabling me to communicate more easily with team members
Needed a ticket system and Asana became a game changer for us
What do you like best about the product?
My team needed a ticket system for HR. We had Asana for project management and didn't have any extra cash so, one of my team created it using Asana. The ticket asked questions of the requestor and they were sent to our internet with a link. If that wasn't sufficient, the request was filled out and managed by the team.
I love the metrics. We are able to see who sends in the most tickets, who completes the most, what topic is most popular etc. If we do move to a formal system, this has been a fabulous proof of concept.

Reducing costs and as a manager, being able to track the work.
out of all the work management tools i use, it is easy to understand and build to specific needs

Support our process changes, keeping us too them. also allowing for teamcollaboration and being able to know what is going on in the org

I love it because It streamlines project tracking, enhances communication, and improves efficiency by providing clear task assignments, deadlines, and progress updates.
What do you dislike about the product?
Being a new user I find the interface overwhelming, especially with advanced features.

Asana solves the problem of disorganized project management, unclear communication, and inefficient task tracking by providing a centralized platform for teams to plan, collaborate, and execute work effectively

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to customize Asana to fit specific needs with business processes and sub processes makes this software very useful. Managing due dates for moving parts can be difficult, and the ability to see views by process helps manage due dates. Also, the ability to add notes and collaborate with peers makes cross functional work a breeze. I use Asana every day.
What do you dislike about the product?
There really isn't anything I dislike about Asana. It seems like there are updates to the software frequently that adds new features. Anything that needs to be addressed is handled quickly by customer support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It fills in the gaps that other systems have. It is a one place item that can be used to track workflow and manage products.
Asana is a Project Management Powerhouse
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Asana allows for high level overview of projects as well as nitty gritty tasks that go into the bigger projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
When links or docs are linked in the project, it would be great for those to show up on the Overview tab in the Key resources section.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is taking care of tracking the day to day and how that plays into the bigger goals for myself, the team and the company.
