Asana Empowers Teams with Powerful, Flexible Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Asana is how it keeps everything organized and flowing seamlessly, just like a well-crafted herbal remedy. It’s intuitive, efficient, and helps teams stay aligned—kind of like the way the right blend of herbs can bring balance to your day. It’s all about clarity and harmony, and Asana nails it!
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana is a powerful tool, but I understand how it might not suit everyone's style or workflow. If you're feeling like it’s overly complex or not intuitive enough, I totally get that—it can feel overwhelming at first. Maybe it's the way tasks are organized or the notifications that pile up? Let me know what’s not clicking for you, and I’d love to help brainstorm a better way to streamline your process. We’re all about finding solutions that work for you!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is solving the chaos of scattered tasks, miscommunication, and lack of clarity in team collaboration. By centralizing workflows, organizing priorities, and streamlining communication, it creates a space where everyone knows what needs to get done and when. This means less stress, more focus, and better results.
For you, this can mean fewer headaches from juggling multiple tools or chasing down updates, and more time to focus on what really matters—whether that's growing your business, creating something meaningful, or simply having a clearer path to success. It's about making your work life smoother and more productive so you can thrive.

Customizable Reporting with Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I like the custom fields in Asana as they enable very specialized reporting for particular stakeholders. I use them to group work by team, even in large projects, denote what tasks are reportable and not reportable, and in what 'buckets' they need to be reported for the C-Suite and other leadership.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish you could retro apply fields to already created projects in bulk. For example, if I add a custom field in Q2, I wish I could retro apply this field to any project created in Q1 without having to individually update every project. I also wish custom fields could be bulk updated in portfolio views, not just project views, and that dropdown expansions applied to portfolios, not just tasks/subtasks. I don't think Asana's in-built AI tools are very value-adding at the moment. We used an Asana support rep, but have had to backtrack on some advice received. I would say it was a 60/40 pro/con experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps with workflow and resourcing, time management, and offers custom fields for specialized reporting, aiding in organizing work by team and reporting metrics for leadership.

Intuitive Task Management with Time-Saving Templates, but Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Asana makes it incredibly easy to organize tasks, track progress, and collaborate across teams. The interface is intuitive, and features like timeline view, custom fields, and task dependencies help us stay aligned on deadlines and priorities. I especially appreciate the ability to create templates for recurring workflows — it saves tons of time
What do you dislike about the product?
While Asana is great for task management, its reporting features could be more robust. For example, pulling cross-project analytics or visualizing workload trends requires some manual effort or third-party integrations. Also, notifications can get overwhelming if not customized properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps us centralize project communication and reduce email clutter. It’s been a game-changer for managing cross-functional initiatives, ensuring everyone knows who’s doing what and by when. It’s also helped improve accountability and transparency across our team.
Effortlessly Manages Course Workflows but Needs Better Archiving
What do you like best about the product?
I like Asana's design because it is clean and easy to see. This makes it simple for me to talk to others through the platform and organize my workflow efficiently. I appreciate how Asana solves the issue of creating clear dates around each course we offer and enhances the workflow among our staff. Additionally, I value its seamless integration with Google Workspace, which enhances our overall productivity.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like an improvement in Asana with regards to the ability to archive projects out of sight. We have numerous courses and workshops, leading to a large number of projects in our portfolio. Consequently, it becomes challenging to search and find specific items.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to create clear dates for our courses and improve staff workflow. The biggest win is not letting the small, easy to forget, but very important tasks not be missed.
