Streamlined Project Tracking with Some AI Challenges
What do you like best about the product?
I really like that Asana has rules that I can set to reduce the amount of touches I make on each task. The ability to categorize and report out to my upper management is also valuable. The rules help me to reduce my workflow and eliminate gaps within the process. Additionally, the categorization makes it easier for me to report to my leadership and create visibility for different objects inside of my workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like the AI assistant or the way that it creates rules. They just have never worked correctly for me. I also do not like the import, since it never gets the columns correct.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana solves the problem of quickly distributing a lot of information to many people. It centralizes our business and provides complete visibility through the project life cycle.

Essential for Streamlining Marketing Workflows
What do you like best about the product?
I like how I can create rules and workflows in Asana, which is incredibly useful for moving between review stages. We create automated approvals to ensure projects keep moving. The setup was so easy, and this makes Asana a valuable tool for my marketing projects. I use it with a team within a large company, and I also appreciate getting team-wide visibility on projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
If a task is added to two different projects with separate rules, both rules run at the same time.

I use Asana to manage marketing projects by moving between review stages and getting team-wide visibility. Creating rules and workflows with automated approvals ensures projects keep moving.
Streamlined Project Management with Great Visual Flexibility
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how Asana handles task organization through its multiple views. Being able to switch between a list and a board view instantly helps me visualize my daily priorities much better. The interface is clean and doesn't feel cluttered, which makes it easy to track project deadlines and automate repetitive status updates without much effort.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve for more advanced features like Portfolios and Workload can be a bit steep for new users. Also, the notification system can sometimes feel overwhelming if you don't spend time fine-tuning the settings, making it easy to miss important updates in a sea of alerts. I'd love to see more affordable pricing for smaller teams wanting to access Enterprise-level reporting tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana solves the problem of fragmented communication. Instead of searching through long email threads or chat logs for project updates, everything is centralized in one place. This has improved my sprint planning and overall productivity by making it clear exactly who is responsible for what and when tasks are due.
Seamless Workflow Management with a Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
As I'm learning the Asana platform, I've found the ability to create rules and leverage integrations to be incredibly useful. I rely heavily on these features to connect my work across multiple platforms like Google Calendar. Starting my day with Asana helps me set up a workflow that cascades into every other platform I use. The rules and integrations simplify processes for other people I work with and bridge communication gaps, letting me know what’s needed and when. Asana allows me to communicate effectively and keep track of deliverables, deadlines, and project start times, which is crucial for my role as an AV media manager. Asana does a great job on multiple levels.
What do you dislike about the product?
I could see how someone who has no understanding at all could find Asana to be overwhelming. You have to be patient with yourself and give yourself time to learn and understand what functions work for you. Maybe a few more integrations that I'm used to, like Google Keep, would be helpful. Initially, it was challenging because we had a trainer that may not have known the needs of the particular group they were training for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps me manage workflows, improve productivity, and plan effectively. Its integration capabilities allow seamless connection with multiple projects and clients, simplifying processes and bridging communication gaps.
Essential for Transparent Project Tracking
What do you like best about the product?
I use Asana for tracking projects for individuals and teams, and I find it really useful for easier and more transparent tracking. I like how it makes audits simpler and helps with showcasing and demonstrating for ELT. The ability to add screenshots, end dates, and expected dates to tasks is great. It makes tracking time spent on projects straightforward. Simple reporting and easy tracking of team goals are features I enjoy. These features save time, reduce confusion, and keep work moving smoothly. The screenshots add clarity, and end dates contribute to accountability. The initial setup was pretty easy because their documentation is almost perfect. Their customer support has been consistently reliable and they provided clear guidance and constant support during integration, as we use Asana on daily basis to help us in tracking day to day tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly I have had a great experience overall. If I had to point out a couple of downsides, it can occasionally feel a bit slow with larger projects, and some of the more advanced features are locked behind higher pricing tiers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to track project which makes the entire process much more organized, transparent and easy to follow. It allows us to clearly monitor progress across different tasks and teams, making collaboration more efficient. This level of visibility is especially helpful during audits and when showcasing updates or results to the ELT, as all relevant information is centralized and easy to access. Additionally, Asana helps us keep track of the time spent on projects, giving better insight into resource allocation and productivity. Features like adding screenshots, setting due dates, and leaving detailed comments significantly reduce back-and-forth communication, save time, and minimize confusion. Overall, it helps streamline workflows, improve accountability, and ensures that work continues moving forward smoothly and on schedule.

At my company we use Asana for our marketing campaigns. I use it every single day. I love that i can add my own tasks and tag all the appropriate team members. I can keep track of registrants (goal) and once its archived i can always find it.
What do you dislike about the product?
It took awhile to figure out. There is a lot to know about asana so when we get new employees its a lot of training and them figuring it out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Very Easy to Use with Flexible Ways to Apply
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use and I can apply it multiple ways
What do you dislike about the product?
The layout is not my favorite. Email notifications are flat to me. I wish things were more automated for my dashboard. I have to do manual adjustments. fine for now, but not when I scale. I only needed 1 account, but you required two. That really annoys me. You're squeezing more out of small business which almost made me not sign up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed a place to track performance, create project flows and process flows for business, sales, marketing, and product. I could do that all in Asana.
