Asana Keeps All Client Projects Organized in One Flexible Workspace

  • March 25, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Most of my clients already use Asana, so it naturally became the center of how I manage my work. Having everything in one platform makes it easy to build processes around client projects without switching between tools. The board and list views are flexible enough to adapt to different workflows, and I appreciate how quickly I can get a clear picture of what needs to happen across multiple accounts.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s a bit expensive, but with the right business model, it can be a great tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I run a small creative agency and work with multiple clients and contractors at the same time. Before Asana, tracking tasks across different projects was scattered and hard to follow. Now I use it to assign work to contractors, set deadlines, and monitor progress all in one place. Clients can drop tasks directly into shared projects, so nothing gets lost in chat or email. The visual layout and the mobile app make it easy to check on everything at a glance, even when I'm not at my desk.

Effective Task Coordination, Needs Better Portfolio Tools

  • March 25, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how Asana coordinates tasks with the whole team in one place, making it easier for everyone to stay on the same page. I also appreciate the fields setting feature, which allows me to prioritize and categorize items myself for better visibility and notation on a task level. The initial setup was straightforward, with no challenges, which was a relief given my previous experiences with other tools. These aspects were pivotal in our decision to switch to Asana from other products like Wrike and Trello, especially considering the price to service advantage.
What do you dislike about the product?
Portfolio management is not the best yet. I would like a better overview on subtasks and how they are integrated into other projects; this is missing right now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana for task scheduling, workload management, and tracking pending issues. It helps coordinate tasks with my team in one place.

Centralised Task Management

  • March 24, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love using Asana as an overall organisation tool. It helps me keep track of all tasks and projects I'm working on across various campaigns and content production. It keeps all our moving parts in one centralised space, so nothing gets forgotten or overlooked. Asana solves problems like tracking the progress of multiple projects, collaborating with the team, keeping track of deadlines, and prioritising tasks. I appreciate its clean layout, the ability to colour-coordinate tasks, and the option to leave comments in tasks and tag others. The multiple layout options, like list, board, timeline, and calendar, especially the calendar view as a content calendar, are fantastic. I find the ability to add tags and the way comments keep all communications within the task incredibly useful. Asana’s training and tutorials are great, I really recommend watching them so you can get the most out of the platform and see its capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can get a bit cluttered if you have a lot of tasks running simultaneously, especially with many subtasks and team members involved. Sometimes it gets hard to quickly see what actually matters vs what's just sitting there. Also, Asana only really works if all team members are actively updating their progress, which isn't always the case.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to organise tasks across projects, keeping everything in a centralised space, preventing anything from being forgotten. It helps me track project progress, collaborate with my team, manage deadlines and priorities, and lets me see everything at a glance.

Transformative Hub for Project Management

  • March 24, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Asana for monitoring projects, doing sprints, and even for long-term projects; it's my master hub. I love that they listen to feedback, especially when creating rules, as they really try to understand what people need. The task template type has changed everything for me, transforming the way fields, tasks, and sections are used. The templates are a huge asset when building out projects with multiple statuses and fields that take up space in the column. They help us maneuver tasks to each status easily. I also appreciate that 'complete' isn't necessarily complete; we can choose what to show. I use Asana everywhere—on my Mac, through a Chrome add-on, in ChatGPT, in Teams as an agent, on Outlook, and in Claude. For my tier, it surpasses my expectations, and I love using it. Although I faced some challenges during initial setup, Asana's documentation is well set up, and I found the forums most helpful for nuanced situations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found some challenges during the initial setup, particularly in figuring out exactly which features were best used in different situations. The Asana documentation was helpful, but for more nuanced situations, I needed to consult the forums to find the best approaches.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana as a master hub for projects, solving organizational issues by keeping all notes, tasks, and completed items in one place. The task templates and the ability to invite people make project management easier.

Collaborated across teams and have managed task pipelines and deadlines more efficiently

  • March 24, 2026
  • Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

My main use case for Asana is identifying the progress of tasks assigned to the team. I utilize Asana for team collaboration, team ticket generation for each task, and to collaborate through comments, which serves as the tracking mechanism for product development and project management.

For one of my current projects, whenever a new task comes into view, we have a specific team divided into front-end, back-end, DevOps, AI, and project manager roles. All team members are assigned to the specific task. Whatever task they pick up, we move it to in-progress status and then mark it as completed once the task has been finished. For example, if I want to create a background task for an AI process that will implement categorical scenarios to understand how user behaviors respond to specific video comments, we need to generate a whole pipeline-based scenario. This includes what the background of Asana's ticket should be, who needs to be assigned to this task, who will be doing this task, who is the assignee, who will be reporting this task, what will be the deadline, and what approach they have implemented once completed. All of these things are maintained in Asana, which tracks user continuity and how they are approaching specific project tickets and tasks.

What is most valuable?

In my opinion, the best features Asana offers include all product management scenarios, such as how tickets can be generated and what assignees and assigners need to be adapted. It can be integrated with external CRM tools and external collaboration tools like Slack and MS Teams. Asana also offers MCP and its toolkit, which we can utilize perfectly.

I find myself using ticket management the most among those features.

Asana has impacted my organization positively by being very useful for product management and task management. We manage internally how tasks can be assigned to specific teams and how they can be launched on specific dates. Deadline-based use cases can be completed, enhanced, and tracked perfectly through collaboration of different teams.

I would say that we are working on time for each task and can manage who can pick what kind of task by checking the specific workflow. This gives insight into what needs to be done in future ticket pipelines. Based on how many tickets are created, we can justify priorities and complete them as soon as possible. We can maintain deadlines as well. Productivity metrics such as the time of completion for any specific ticket or feature that we are building can be implemented perfectly. All of these things are maintained in a professional manner in Asana.

What needs improvement?

Asana can be improved by adding a voice-based assistant for ticket generation. Currently, everything needs to be written manually, so we could add voice integration. Additionally, calling mechanisms are not available to collaborate between the team for any specific task. If anything needs to be collaborated within the team, we need to tag them instead of having a calling mechanism to check on pending tasks. A notification system could send updates to other team members as well.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Asana for around three years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

Asana is stable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Asana's scalability is perfect. Multiple teams and multiple team members can collaborate with each other.

How are customer service and support?

I would say customer support is very good. Both email and calling support are working perfectly. The chatbot of Asana also provides perfect responses. The pre-generated FAQs offer clarity on what steps need to be included, which is sufficient.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

I have used Jira prior to choosing Asana. Both tools have specific strengths. Asana is very simple to learn and understand. All workflows, Kanban boards, collaboration, tickets, and logs are maintained perfectly in both. Jira has Confluence integrated, which allows for documentation and article-based cases, giving it some advantage. However, it is very difficult to understand and maintain the content. In that regard, Asana is good, but it does not have the flexibility to write notes-based documentation.

I have used only these two solutions before choosing Asana.

What was our ROI?

I have definitely seen a return on investment with Asana. The efficiency of building the whole project has increased through team management using Asana. Multiple clients work directly with this collaboration tool, so definitely there has been a return on investment.
