Aikido.dev looks like a great software overall
What do you like best about the product?
Implementation is really easy, just plug and play the repo (Github in my case) and done. You can flag issues according to your needs, I didn't even have to contact customer support yet, so I can't give my opinion on that. I use the software from time to time, but it helps keeping track of what problems might my apps have. Because it's so easy to plug into my existing projects, it's both helpful and no- additional headache. It also allows for autofixes. And so much is available at the free plan, too.
What do you dislike about the product?
It might get a little chaotic if you have multiple projects, although I'm using it only for a few 'hobby' ones currently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's just an additional guard that is helping me making my software a little more secure.
Promising and User-Friendly Security Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Aikido offers a clean, intuitive interface and a refreshing approach to application security. Even with limited hands-on experience, it’s clear that the platform is designed with developer workflows in mind, reducing noise and focusing on actionable issues. The integration process is smooth, and I appreciate the emphasis on simplicity without compromising on core security features.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I haven’t encountered major issues, but I haven’t had the chance to explore the full depth of the platform. Because of this, I can’t speak to how it performs at scale or under more complex scenarios. Some documentation could go deeper for advanced users or edge cases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need a reliable tool to check our application for critical vulnerabilities. Aikido makes this easier by surfacing the most relevant issues early, without overwhelming the team. It helps us stay on top of security risks in a way that feels manageable and developer-friendly.
Useful product to help with day to day security monitoring
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to setup; Using AI to get rid of the noise works well. I particularly like the ability to show exactly how you're using a compromised package, something which can take a while to figure out sometimes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really have a downside, I just wish there was a price bracket between free and 300EUR.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In combination with AWS tools, helping fill the gaps between the app and the infrastructure. Identifying risks in the stack quickly and then being able to solve/remedy with some guidance.
Vulnerability scanning for the Azure web app repository
What do you like best about the product?
I love couple of things - first one is that it is really-really user friendly. For me interface is really user friendly, it was very quick to set up integration with our Azure codebase. I love summaries I am receiving from regular vurnerability scanning - it is easy to follow and understand what can be the most concerning thing there. Also for each vulnerability you're getting a lot of helpful information which really works as a remediation steps.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am a user of the free plan and what I would appreciate is the ability to explore reporting functionality a bit more (on a free plan it is limited).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are now exploring the ability to get SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certifications, and this tool can be really helpful while preparing for the audit
Excellent experience using Aikido SAST
What do you like best about the product?
I primarily deal with cybersecurity from a macro level (GRC) and rarely need to delve into any Dev/Ops testing. The Aikido application easily enabled me to test multiple java programs for a client and provide constructive results for remediation.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting could be better. This may have been the version that I had but it was rather limited in the ability to download/create any custom reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing a current security posture/hygiene for a client
Amazed by insights of the free version
What do you like best about the product?
Our dev team loves the self-serve approach on Aikido.
What do you dislike about the product?
PR Auto fixes are sometimes not as good as they could be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All-in-One security solution instead of various Island solutions.
Solid for Startups and Scaleups
What do you like best about the product?
It's exceptionally easy to get started and get valuable insights right out of the gate. You can link your repositories and projects and set up scans.
And its not just vulnerability scanning, you can even get operational insights on how your version control system and infra is set up.
It's the kind of tool you grow into and grows with you.
A solid choice.

What do you dislike about the product?
I'm probably nitpicking but I would like to see how we can do the entire compliance process for different overseas markets incorporated (Africa)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Aikido helps by scanning for vulnerabilities in external packages and checking our operational posture as well for best practices
Robust Analysis, Limited Accessibility
What do you like best about the product?
I like the dynamics and simplicity of Aikido Security, as they manage to make the complex simple with all the power of analysis. I value the simple access menu and the clarity in the step-by-step process to integrate the codes with GitHub. The summary of the analyses saves time and helps solve security issues. Additionally, the initial setup was very simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
Clearly, there should be pricing not only for 10 users that generates a value of more than 300 USD, but there should also be pricing for 1 or 2 users. This will allow the subscription to the tool to increase for every programmer. Today, a subscription costs between 25 to 30 USD, something really feasible for any user. So, being able to scale the number of users would allow you to have more clients at all levels, not just those standardized in the option of 10 to 20 or 30 users. This harms the potential use of the tool by every retail client.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Aikido Security to analyze the integrity of my code and receive security reports and recommendations. It provides me with protection against attacks, alignment with ISO standards, and its simplicity saves time when integrating codes with GitHub.
Ideal Security Platform for Startups
What do you like best about the product?
The platform focuses on doing one thing right, increasing the maturity of your company's security posture without having to spend a lot of effort in integration and triaging false positives. Its simple to integrate and simple to adopt for a small startup team that does not have a lot of bandwith but still wants to get better at InfoSec
What do you dislike about the product?
It wasn't clear at the beginning which features were included in the free trial and which features were not. Its not super easy to "pick and match" which parts of the platform you want to adopt now vs which ones you want to leave for the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For 27001 certification we wanted to demonstrate that we are doing DAST and SAST continously as part of our software development process
One-stop shop for application security
What do you like best about the product?
The intuïtive interface and the very fast support
What do you dislike about the product?
I notice a lot of features still in flux, but definitely moving in the right direction
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Different aspoects of secuirty monitoring of our application
