After 9 years of usage, time to review
What do you like best about the product?
After 9 years of using integration technologies, such as ESB 5.0.0, EI 7.1.0, MI 4.1.0, MI 4.5.0 (as well as using Ballerina, which is not the subject of this review), I can therefore provide a fairly informed opinion.
WSO2 integration products are robust, powerful products that allow you to integrate virtually anything you want. By learning the syntax and with good logic, you can integrate everything.
Performing protocol transformations REST > SOAP > REST is child's play, and data mapping with internal components is also facilitated.
There have been many improvements in the product, particularly in the IDE part which was lacking until now. Integrator Studio was slow and didn't load Maven dependencies and modules, but this has been resolved since the arrival of plugins for Visual Studio Code.
We have operated on several approaches: the service bus approach with a good number of deployed integrations, ETL as well. Now we are using the micro integration approach, which facilitates the build and run of our applications.
I highly recommend this product, provided you are familiar with XML!

What do you dislike about the product?
I have few criticisms, except for weak documentation on complex cases.
Also regarding version upgrades where documentation may be lacking.
Debugging is also complex to implement.
There is also no documentation on the DevOps part for deployments from CI/CD.
(Given that WSO2 integration projects behave like Java Maven projects, CI/CD is rather simple)

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Develop and integrate API.
Develop and ingest Data as an ETL.

Excellent Enterprise Middleware Solution
What do you like best about the product?
Its extensible interface to develop new connecters which will allow us to keep the existing codebase intact. Its XML type Request-Response definition for REST interface can allow rapid development of API's for people without much coding knowledge. There is also the factor of GUI based Metrics visualization for the API usage which provides better observability.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't clear documentation on developing new Enterprise integrator. I had to stuggle a little and rely on community to develop the connector.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the middleware issues like not have to maintain an eloborate codebase to catch with newer integrations
Scalable integrations with WSO2
What do you like best about the product?
It is open-source, and we could try any integrations before production deployments. If we purchase the support, we can guarantee the success of the integration.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost was the primary concern of my integrations. It is feature-rich to give any solution you need. The microservices approach would result in license cost reduction as a side effect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is an IoT solution for the healthcare domain; We achieved multiprotocol handling with IoT devices
one of the best integration platforms available in the market for several reasons

Great
What do you like best about the product?
It was very useful and make my work more easier
What do you dislike about the product?
Understanding the document was harder for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Increased scalability: WSO2 Integration can help organizations handle increased volumes of data and transactions, ensuring that integrations continue to function reliably even as the business grows.
Creating APIs and DSS and publishing endpoints quickly and easily.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy creation and management of Data Source Services.
What do you dislike about the product?
Incompatibility with some SQL functions, which requires more time to adapt the query.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
WSO2 Integration solved the problem of fragmentation of APIs and database queries. From the use of WSO2 Integration it was possible to standardize them in all software.
Head of IT
What do you like best about the product?
is very easy to integrated any kind of software and machine, especially healthcare machine
What do you dislike about the product?
need more resources on desktops or servers, and maybe in the future WSO2 can add many protocol communication, such us the protocol used by electrical machine
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
So far, I did not found any problem when integrating using WSO2, because there a lot of discussion about that
Can easily integration
What do you like best about the product?
Intergration is easy and good documentation
What do you dislike about the product?
Documentation guide and onternet tutorials
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Document is not good
one of the best cloud native integrator
What do you like best about the product?
opensource and have a good community support
What do you dislike about the product?
need much support on cloud i.e its good product if it serves as PASS
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
integration
It is Easy to build API's because of drag and drop facility.
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to write integration using WSO2 Studio because of Drag and drop facility. It is easy to build request payloads both XML and j son. Easy to call endpoints. Easy to add test cases. supports any kind of data transformation initially such as J SON to XML, XML to J SON It supports multiple protocols . Easy to containerise an API using Docker exporter .
What do you dislike about the product?
When creating a new project it is creating inside another project. In script mediator some the functionality are not working for example spread(...) operator is not working.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In programming languages if want to create a payload or request body we need to create class but in WSO2 integration payload using payload factory mediator. Encoding and decoding functions are avaliable without writting code.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is easy to write integrations as we have drag and drop options, even if we have less knowledge of programming language. And it has many components. It even helps achieve separation of concerns with respect to business logic design and messaging. Easy to add additional functionalities using wso2 connectors like Email connector, ISO8583 connectors etc. Easy to manage and monitor API's using DashBoard. JDBC connection is avaliable for database operations. Easy to trouble shoot errors in the mediation using micro integrator. Offload quality of service aspects such as security, reliability, caching from business logic. It is best tool for service chaining.
