User-Friendly and Easy to Onboard New Team Members
What do you like best about the product?
Its very user friendly and easy to operate! Low barrier to entry for starting new areas and introducing new people to the software
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be difficult to find the right level of support for what is needed at times. It seems like each individual issue - often the chat person or our rep are suggesting we reach out elsewhere which can be frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its helping standardize our reporting processes and streamline how we handle our various reports!
Great Collaboration Tool That’s Well Organized
What do you like best about the product?
It's a great collaboration tool and is well organized
What do you dislike about the product?
Not very well integrated with AI - I think we should be able to search other disclosures. Platform hasn't been updated in years - feels clunky and dated

We collaborate across teams to manage the SEC filings and also use it as a repository
Effortless SEC Reporting with Workiva
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Workiva is easy to use. The workbooks linked to the documents we prepare make for an easy experience similar to Microsoft tools. The initial setup was also pretty easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Workiva for SEC reporting, which simplifies filing with the SEC and XBRL tagging. The linked workbooks make it easy, similar to Microsoft tools.
Efficient Reporting, Room for Excel Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I like Workiva's ability to edit and refresh links with one click of a button instead of manually changing adjustments across various spreadsheets. It eliminates version control issues by providing a platform with live documents and real-time edits.
What do you dislike about the product?
Workiva could improve their excel functionality. It sometimes is clunky and not great with keyboard shortcuts. Also, the initial setup was time-consuming, especially when setting up workbook links and checking figures and templates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Workiva for financial statement reporting and audit consolidation. It solves version control issues with live documents and real-time edits, plus I can refresh links with a single click.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how intuitive this product is for financial reporting. If you have any experience with Microsoft Office, you’ll know right away how to use it. The native training materials are concise and genuinely helpful when you want to pick up more advanced skills.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the platform can stall a bit if I leave it open for an extended period, but a quick browser refresh resolves it. Overall, it’s a minor issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Overall, the platform’s stability has noticeably improved over the years. The UI has also seen clear, notable improvements.
Workiva’s Powerful Features and Helpful AI Boost Efficiency
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Workiva is that it offers a wide range of functions that help me complete my tasks effectively and efficiently. The AI feature is also very helpful and makes my work easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Workiva is that, at times, the tool can feel very granular, and it can be hard to find things if I haven’t used them in a while, like custom reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to struggle with the look and formatting of our finished products because we relied heavily on Excel for our testing. Now we can use Workiva directly for testing instead of working through manual spreadsheets, which makes the process much smoother.

I appreciate Workiva's ability to ensure version control through a single controlled document environment, making it easier to manage our financial reporting and disclosure processes. The platform is completely integrated, allowing me to see everything in one place without needing to bring up different files external to the program. I find it easy to assign tasks to different groups and it's great for evidencing review of specific documentation. Additionally, I like that the supporting documentation can be shared with a large variety of users.

Sometimes unclear exactly where to go to get what you want given the multitude of different menus and options

What do you like best about the product?
The UI/UX is well designed—seamless and intuitive, even for a new user. The Workiva Carbon integration enables my business and teams to make strong use of the carbon reporting features. Platform performance is genuinely high-speed, and I haven’t run into errors. Pricing is well structured, though there’s still room to improve accessibility; that said, the ROI has been beneficial for my business. The support and help team are very hands-on and readily available to respond to any queries or questions. The AI and intelligence tools are very intuitive and have strong architecture.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Workiva platform can improve the copy feature in the platform to improve performance as well the processes and tasks integrations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva helps with carbon accounting, acts as a single source of truth, the UI and UX is really great to use, and helps us manage all our data across the businesses.
Easy Workflows and Documentation, but the UI Feels Dated

The ease of workflows and documentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that the User interface seems a bit dated.

Providing a solution for us to implement effective SOX and first line controls and testing.
Workiva Makes Real-Time Financial Reporting and Task Tracking Effortless
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease and functionality of Workiva. It is helpful to be able to link our financial information throughout the report so numbers will update in real time. We also use Workiva to track all of our tasks and its helpful to have everything in one place and to link tasks directly to a section of the report.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes formatting can be a pain point.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to use the task tracking in Workiva has greatly improved our team's efficiency.
