Amazing Linking and Data Integration That Streamlines Processes
What do you like best about the product?
The linking capabilities and data integration are amazing. I’ve recommended it to other teams in my organization because it can really help streamline their processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’m not able to export blacklines in Word. The only export option I see is PDF, and that can limit how usable the comparison is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva helps me streamline our 10-Q/K and press release processes more effectively. We’re also looking to use it for management presentations as well, which should help keep our reporting and presentation work more consistent.
Automates SEC Filings with Seamless EDGAR Integration
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate Workiva's integration with EDGAR that automatically submits our filings to the SEC. Its automation and integration are key and set us up for success.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find importing documents frustrating because the format of documents is sometimes disrupted and requires manual corrections.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Streamlines Reporting with Minor Tweaks Needed
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to link support and update everything in one spot, which is really convenient for handling financial reporting and SOX certifications. Setting up Workiva was fairly easy, which made the transition smoother.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the ability to edit a process and rescind letters sent to certain owners lacking once it has gone live. Also, I wish Workiva's spreadsheets could align with Excel's keyboard shortcuts. Sometimes it would be faster to get things done if the spreadsheet functionalities, like adding a row or column and updating cell references, matched Excel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Workiva for formatting and linking supporting workbooks to financial statements. I like being able to link support and update all in one spot.
Good overall tool to meet my Auditing needs.
What do you like best about the product?
It is not too complex to use and has a good user interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
The knowledge articles are not always the best solution to solve my specific needs. I feel as though that is the first place Workiva will direct you to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently they are assisting with how I can suspend users from my organization that have access to Workiva in other organizations. Also, helping to redirect some of my reports to an updated data set.
Real-Time Multi-User Access Makes Financial Updates Easy
What do you like best about the product?
Ability for multiplier users to access and update financial information at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the functions work like Excel, but just when I get used to how they behave, I run into another function that doesn’t work the same way as Excel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Once the worksheet is updated, I can see the results immediately.
Reliable Real-Time Data Linking That’s Easy to Trust
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most is its real-time data linking. With the amount of data we manage and the number of users we have, it’s really helpful to be able to trust and rely on Workiva. I think its mostly user friendly. It was pretty easy for me to start using it on day 1.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I find that it lags when needing to edit certain data and links. Also, certain things aren't super intuitive to find, for instance when I need to change the formatting for a release vs. exhibit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva helps us through the earnings process and proxy process. Definitely allows for us to rely on just 1 source and place for us to update and edit data.
Intuitive Platform with Stellar Support
What do you like best about the product?
I love Workiva's intuitive platform, which is super easy to learn and much simpler to use than Excel templates. The status bubble features are amazing for tracking what I’ve done and what is outstanding. It's really nice to quickly open workbooks or documents and see what's open, what has been reviewed, and what's stuck based on the outline labels. Also, the Workiva team was super helpful, making the transition smooth.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have trouble sometimes with rounding and footing. The platform is sometimes too smart and rounds and it ends up creating a problem where the workbook doesn't match the document when full precision is used. I don't use Workiva with other tools because our platform is not linked to NetSuite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Workiva for version control, live collaboration, and easy milestone tracking. I find it intuitive, easier than Excel, and love status bubbles for tracking work progress. It offers outline labels to quickly assess document status.
Streamlined Financial Reporting with Responsive Support
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how well Workiva lines up with Microsoft Office, like Word and Excel. The customer support team is super responsive and helpful. I also like that they are constantly trying to improve the product and add additional features to make financial reporting, controls, and many other avenues more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
Continuing to improve the rollforward feature as well as continue to evolve features that involve AI. It was somewhat difficult to get the document exactly how we wanted it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva streamlines the financial reporting process in preparation, review, and consistency. Its alignment with Microsoft Office and responsive customer support make financial reporting and controls more efficient.
Efficient Controls Testing with Minor Drawbacks
What do you like best about the product?
I like that any updates to the RCM automatically update other areas where that control lives. I also find the test forms and review process works well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I hate having to use its own Workiva Excel instead of actual Microsoft Excel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva assists with support requests, tracks testing progress, and provides a central repository for RCM, testing, and narratives.
Streamlines SEC Disclosures with Collaborative Edge
What do you like best about the product?
I like the security and recordkeeping that Workiva offers. The interface for Form 4s and beneficial ownership filings is helpful because it pulls data from previously filed forms, making calculations much easier. Also, I switched from DFIN for printing services, and Workiva is better for printing and way cheaper.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the interface is confusing and things could be organized better. It would be helpful if there were easier clickthroughs for finding individuals for whom you submit filings.

Workiva enhances group collaboration with live editing and comment resolution. It offers strong security and recordkeeping, simplifies beneficial ownership filings by pulling from previous forms, and makes calculations easier.
