Streamlined Financial Reporting with Ease
What do you like best about the product?
I use Workiva for drafting financial statements for our employee benefit plans. I love that it provides a one-stop shop for internal stakeholders and auditors to review the financial statements, eliminating the need to PDF and distribute them. The linking functionality is the best part for me, as it significantly reduces the time needed to roll statements from one year to the next by updating links throughout the statements with one click of the 'publish' button. The setup was easy, and for my purposes, it checks all the boxes.

Workiva provides a one-stop shop for stakeholders and auditors to review financial statements, reducing the need to PDF and distribute them. The linking functionality cuts down time on rolling statements year-to-year by updating links with one click.
Effortless Reporting with Comprehensive Support
What do you like best about the product?
I find Workiva easy to use, and the short demo videos make it easy to learn. When there are new features, I can go to Workiva University to learn by myself, which is really handy. The initial setup was pretty smooth for my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
price is too high
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva helps with filing 8-K, 10Q, 10K, and section 16. It's easy to use, with helpful demo videos and Workiva University enabling self-learning for new features.
Powerful reporting framework explorer, but can feel like too many functions without clear direction
What do you like best about the product?
The broad list of reporting frameworks of the Sustainability Explorer function is extremely helpful when approaching a potential gap assessment or simply doing a high level review of reporting requirements for different regulatory or voluntary reporting needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Workiva is extremely detail-oriented and granular, to the point of difficultly for users who aren't regular users of the site. There seem to be a lacking amount of helpful and accessible guides for how to navigate the site for more casual users.

Intuitive and Easy for Producing Audit Reports and Footnotes
What do you like best about the product?
Ease and Intuitive use of the product as it relates to producing audit report and especially related footnotes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Once in a while some glitches and slow response time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Generating Audit reports and especially creating the footnotes for both the audit report and Annual Statement.
Workiva Makes Collaboration and Creativity Effortless
What do you like best about the product?
I like how it encourages creativity and makes it easy to collaborate with other team members. It also provides a centralized workspace, which helps streamline work and improve overall efficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?
Formatting can be a bit funky at times, but once you learn more about Workiva, you start to understand the workarounds and how to use them effectively.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps reduce the time spent throughout the review process for quarterly and annual deliverables.
Workiva Streamlines SEC Filings with a Great UI/UX and Responsive Support
What do you like best about the product?
Workiva greatly streamlines my SEC filings, has a great UI/UX and functionality, and very helpful team members that are very responsive and attentive to my needs
What do you dislike about the product?
Workiva can sometimes have formatting issues or functionalities that are overly complex and not integrated as well as they could be
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva solves our SEC Filing of our 10-Q, 10-K, and 8-Ks.
Excellent Linking for Effortless, Consistent Financial Reporting
What do you like best about the product?
The linking capabilities are excellent. It’s extremely efficient to update financial amounts once and then have those updated figures automatically reflected across all of our internal and external reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any specific complaints of the Workiva platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workiva is always improving. It now makes it easy to update content seamlessly from a Microsoft Excel workbook into the Workiva platform. The formatting tools for external reports have also become much more user-friendly over the last few years, which has made the overall reporting process smoother.
Streamlines SOX Testing with Ease
What do you like best about the product?
I like the testing forms in Workiva the most, especially the way I can link documents, companies, IT systems, and testing matrixes. It’s valuable for testing controls by housing everything in one spot. Workiva also helps by creating linked databases which eliminate a lot of manual work in recreating formulas and linking documents each quarter. Additionally, Workiva houses a database for risks, controls, and requests, which makes it easier for me to navigate and test SOX controls. The initial setup was a process, but overall, I found it easy to understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to see an AI agent for documents and files in Workiva, so I don't have to move things over to Copilot.

Workiva creates linked databases that reduce manual work in re-creating formulas each quarter. It houses a centralized database for risks, controls, and requests, making it easier to navigate and test SOX controls, and valuable for testing controls by housing everything in one spot.
Effortless Quarterly Filings with Stellar Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I like the cleanliness of Workiva's dashboard and how easy it is to navigate the portal. The ability to collaborate with team members within the portal to complete our filings is also something I appreciate. The initial setup of Workiva was very easy overall, and it makes filing each quarter a smooth process with its clear guidelines.
What do you dislike about the product?
Currently, I don't have any major dislikes about Workiva. However, I think there could be an improvement in increasing the AI functionality overall, which I know will come with time.

Workiva makes filing easy with clear guidelines and a smooth process. I like the clean dashboard, easy navigation, and the ability to collaborate with team members to complete our filings.
Real-Time Collaboration with Easy Setup
What do you like best about the product?
I like Workiva for its ability to facilitate instant collaboration with real-time updates, which makes reviewing and tracking changes in our work files much easier. It provides a very collaborative environment and was easy for me to install and set up on my computer.
What do you dislike about the product?
The layout could be slightly improved, there is a lot of clicking around sometimes, but it's not a major complaint of mine.
